Antique Lace
For my latest set I've reverted to my old favourite, Rosemat's Giverny mesh from Pronupsims. Happy Birthday for tomorrow, Rosemat! There are some beautiful new items at Pronupsims to celebrate their 4th anniversary - definitely worth a look.My new set comprises 10 delicate formal gowns in silk and antique lace embellished with sequins. The gowns have stylish crossover straps at the back and a short lace train. This set was inspired by a Sue Wong gown. The dresses can be worn by adults and young adults (if you have University installed) and are available in the following colours: gold, salmon pink, rose pink, lilac, ice blue, seafoam, silver, ivory, black and white.
Windowsill
I want the windows to look a little more like home, so I made some windowsills you can use to the windows. They can also be used as a wall shelf. I made them pull the colours from the windows so you always will have matching ones for your windows. They are made for one tile windows.

Whew! I just finished my next Victorian Inspired Nursery set, "Playful Puppies" Collection. It always happen...I start a new Sims 2 project and then "real life" becomes very hectic. I hope to publish the Playful Puppies set very soon. The set includes a few new meshes as well as recolors from the 1st nursery set. Here are a few screenshots of my new set...
Autumn Stuff Mini Pack: Mesh Set
As you probably had seen from the set preview under current projects on the main page, then you'd know that I have begun submitting the Autumn Stuff Mini Pack Sets. Currently, I have only submitted the Mesh Set, but throughout the week I will work on submitting the other sets!Bathrooms
Bathrooms will be coming - eventually. It takes a while to get all these sets uploaded and published, but I'm moving along as quickly as I can. Recolors...
So, the Barbie recolors are due out on the 14th. Yea! I really enjoyed coloring that hair I may do more later. We'll see.The Damien recolors are annoying me... I'm not a perfectionist! I swear! LOL! It's really a great style and if I'm going to do it I want it to look ~just so~.

New Story-Sonny's Day

Coulee Swamp: Bijou's Place
On any given evening you can find Bijou sitting on his porch listening to the sweet sounds of Roy Orbison's 'Candy Man' from his old radio (he has a great fondness for Roy's music). As the music drifts across the gator-filled swamp ... his neighbors stop by for a chat and maybe a drink of Bijou's 'swamp water' (truth be there is no water in the drink, hmmm). No one knows how old Bijou is. He has been a part of Coulee Swamp forever (some say). A kind man, with good advice. NOTE: In the future, I hope to add some more houses from the residents of Coulee Swamp .... the people are most interesting, not quite like regular folk, if you get my meaning .....

Finally - another home!!!
All these tutorials have taken their toll on my new building work!!! ;) But I've finally managed to get round to a quite imaginative home - for a terra-forming family on a moon of Jupiter (the likeliest places we'll find traces of alien life in our solar system). It's called Hubble Tower, after the astronomer Hubble and the eponymous (eek!! big word!!! :lol: ) space station, and is a sci-fi tower on 7 levels. It features domes, but different ones - low and streamlined. I've had to make it over several times (3 days of testing) to ensure high environment ratings in the rooms that overhang 'nothingness'!!! To be honest, I think the inspiration came from recently seeing the Bronx World Fair site in Scorcese's The Departed (the 'flying saucers' also seen in MIB) - it burned an image in my little brain. But it also looks like a big Pet!!! ;) Here's a preview pic:

Charmed
I didn't get a message posted last week or anything ready to submit because I was so swamped with real life stuff. This week however, I will be moving more stuff over from my Yahoo groups. I will start moving my Charmed theme. This will probably take a couple of weeks to get it all over here. Plus there will be some new fashions and faces added as well. I'll post pics later as I get stuff organized.

Upcoming:Currently I'm working on some recolors of Sims2Sisters "Barbie" and "Damien" hair styles.
I've also been playing with a hairstyle by Kavar and Beosboxboy at InSiminator.net called "Vintage". I don't feel I'm getting the colors quite where I want the yet. So that one may be a bit farther out.

I have finally got around to getting all my game reinstalled, and I have also reinstalled SimPE, and all the other stuff I use to make my creations. So, this means I will be able to resume creating again! So, shortly after I finish getting my computer settled, and getting all my files back into it, I will resume creating, but before I do that, I will submit the Autumn Stuff Mini Pack first! Work in progress, a set of spacesaving scratching posts for cats (Pets EP). Will include scratching trees (thanks to wildstar24 for convincing me to include those!), and special scratching posts that can be placed around a tree (small trees will be included for that purpose) or hidden inside a living room plant. No cheat code required for placement.

Slave to the Snapdragon
So where, you ask, did I get all the Snapdragons? They were in fact manufactured by a trusty band of slav... er, Sims, who worked non-stop from Monday morning until Friday afternoon, building up their skills until they were able to produce the precious flowers. As long as I kept hitting the max_motives cheat, they kept working.Snapdragon Manufacturing Area:
I did feel a bit mean when one of them broke down in tears after they'd finished, due to aspiration failure. But I bought him a telescope and he soon perked up. Simple things...

Snow Globes
Hello all! Today has been such a gorgeous day I just wanted to stop by and say hey! I am a big fan of snow globes. I used to get one for my son for Christmas every year but he is 21 now and beyond that stage (Now he just wants money). I thought that it would be a nice idea to make them for our sims and simmers who love them. They are just decorative but I think they are cute anyways.
My Girl Rio
So, I decided to make my lovable, goofy canine available for download. The sim Rio is nearly a ringer for the real Rio with a couple of exceptions....We got Rio from the pound a little over a year ago- the name was given to her by the workers at the pound. She had been dumped by the side of the road.
What the sim Rio doesn't have is the scars. Rio has scars all over her neck and chest where someone slashed her repeatedly with a knife or other sharp object.
How a dog that was obviously so painstakingly abused could be so amazingly happy, silly and loving is beyond me.
But she is. She my goofy girl. :)
Atomic Plus
Soon to be released, a set of additional items for Maxis Atomic Kids furniture that comes with Pets. I'm adding a book case, a wall hanging bookshelf, better working desk (left side is fully useable), and simpler looking chair. All items are linked to Maxis originals for colors. The set will also include a shadow fix for Atomic desk and end table - if you check in your game, currently their ground shadow showing up on the left!

Hi, as I red in your beautiful comments, you like my creations, now especially "Jolly walls" series. I had a lot of work in past few days in my own business and I need some "therapy", so I�ve decided make some walls for TS2 :).The bases for these nice patterns I�ve found partly on net and then modified them, some of them are fully from my head. Do you know, one of my "chocolate" carpets is made from the chocolate confection photo ? Which ? Search !
Now, as I wrote earlier, I am working on some wooden walls, but I am not fully satisfied with them now, so wait few days, I am going to upload them during the weekend.
And finally, as I wrote in title - I want to hear about your wishes. I know, what I want to create for TS2 game, but have you some wishes ? Write it me, maybe I�ll be able to do something with it !

Ginger Mackeral Tabby Mix
Yes, it's another cat. I promise, I haven't forgotten about you dog-lovers out there. :)Meet Winchester:
Winchester was my family's first real life pet when I was a child - a moggie (mix breed) with an exceptionally unique ginger colour I have yet to see exactly since him, with the traditional mackeral tabby patterning.
Winchester (named after the rifle) was one of three kittens my grandparents had dropped on them. As a kitten he had an almost white/beige colour of fur, which darkened with age to a gorgeous caramel/soft ginger - people who met Winny never failed to comment on his unique coat shade. He also sported a small, heart-shaped patch of pure white on his throat, which met with darker bands of caramel stripes looping around his neck on either side - my mother used to call it his 'locket' or necklace. :) He was a very large and sturdy cat - big head, big paws and a lot of belly - he easily weighted in at around 15 lbs., as I recall.
Sadly, our beautiful Winchester developed feline diabetes early in life. Like its human counterpart, it is very treatable and manageable - we gave him human insulin using human syringes and what a trooper, he never complained. Mum and I had a few terrifying experiences when he fell into a sugar low on a couple of occasions but for the most part he rarely seemed sick - he enjoyed his long naps, ate heartily (loved peas and playing cereal hockey) and kept my mum company in her sewing room for hours on end. Unfortunately, things came to a sudden end when the company that produced the pork based insulin he used decided to discontinue the product and Winchester's body failed to accept the new insulin the vet was attempting to transfer him onto. He was only about 12 years old, about half the lifespan the average housecat enjoys.
I felt it fitting to share our Winchester with you on Remembrance Day - he should be released for download this coming Saturday, November 11'06. Please take him in and find a loving family for him with your Sims - perhaps a small family with a young girl - and give him that longer life he deserved. As usual, we never bred Winchester, which seems a shame considering his unique coat colouring, so if you breed him, I'd love to see your photos of his offspring.
Bedding-Match Pet Beds
Naturally the very first thing I tackled as soon as I got my hands on a beta of SimPE that works with the Pets expansion is to make bedding-match versions of the three cheapest pet beds - have to have those matching items for when your pet's bed is in your sim's bedroom!Fairly simple conversions overall, and I did two version of the cheapest pet pad, one of which is covered in the "sheet" part of the bedding texture and one of which has a top and bottom side of "mattress" material. Variety is good :)
So...
...what I really wanted to create was a Snapdragon shop where Sims could go and purchase these valuable flowers. Of course, this isn't possible to do because unless the snapdragons are set for sale, Sims visiting a lot can't buy them... and as they are not available in the catalogue, the only way set them for sale is to have a Sim buy a shop full of them and price them up. Still with me? I say all this nonchalantly as if I was fully aware of this but no - only through (failed) experimentation has it become blindingly obvious ;-)So, instead, I offer you an OFB lot to purchase and (when it's finished) a starter home business version (under �20,000) of the same lot. The OFB lot is FULL of snapdragons - all tested and guaranteed to be of the pink vapour variety. Though if your lot-purchasing Sim does not yet have the skills to make these flowers, I do suggest you don't sell them all at once! You might like to replace some of them with more regular flowers and store the spares in your Sim's inventory. Here's a couple more pics:

Happily as you can see my new tutorials will be appearing in the LH sidebar of my mini-site's frontpage.They're still not showing in Upcoming Items, but I'll keep asking the tech team in Sweden ..... one day all will be well!!! :lol:
And Yolanda (Cerulean Talon) and a number of others have been very kind and keen to see my Basement Garage tutorial up alongside hers, so I've decided to publish it - with a short explanation - after a 'decent interval'! :D

Swimming Pool Bridges
After a long and complicated (but valuable) conversation with a downloader, I've discovered that the method I gave in my Pool Bridges tutorial for placing a pool under Column Deck foundation only works in the original Sims2 game! So I've just revised the tutorial on this, which should now explain methods both for the original game and for all EPs. ;) Here's the title pic:
Basement Garage tutorial - NOT!
I was all set to publish a neat little tutorial on Basement Garages later this week, and came onsite at the weekend only to see that the lovely Cerulean Talon had just had a similar one published!!! Ah well. ;) I think it's probably unnecessary to have 2 tutorials on a similar item, so I'll busy myself on other topics. Sorry, guys! Anyway, here's what the Preview pic would have looked like:
Good News/Bad News
First, the bad news...I won't be able to do any creating until AT LEAST this weekend. I have got my computer all reformatted, most of my stuff reinstalled, and it's working again. I just don't have the game installed and all the other stuff like SimPE, homecrafter, etc.
Now, for some good news.
I was able to save all my previews that I created of the Autumn Stuff Mini pack. So, that means when I am able to, I will be able to submit the mini stuff pack sets, and don't have to worry about creating new previews! Yay!
Once the Autumn Stuff Mini pack is submitted, I hope to start work on some wintery type themes. :-)

Black Classical Tabby Mix
I've been continuing to work on more pets to share - they are addicting to create!Meet Oskar:
Oskar is my current real life pet - a black and silver classical tabby moggie (mix breed).
Oskar's mother had the thin build and pointed facial features of one of the oriental cat breeds, along with a long haired coat, which he did not inherit but for two long haired stripes down his spine (we affectionately refer to them as his 'mohawks' :D ). His father was likely one of the stockier tuxedo type cats that are common here in southern Sweden and Oskar seems to have inherited this build instead. He has a lovely shiny black coat with the uncommon classical tabby patterning (marble-like swirls instead of the typical mackeral stripes) in a glittery silver colour and fine white boots and socks on his legs and paws. While my real life Oskar's eyes tend to change in colour from a muddy bronze to light green to yellow, I decided his Sim version would use yellow eyes, as they were the closest match available. He's shown here much more active then his typical daily schedule of 18 hour naps - what a hard life. :P
Oskar would certainly love to be taken in by a nice elderly couple who like him, enjoys quiet times, a lot of relaxation and the opportunity to be spoiled rotten. :D Again, I would love to see photos of his offspring, if you choose to breed him (again, as I have chosen not to IRL).
