Bleeding Walls
If English is your first language, you're probably wondering whether I'm cursing. No, the title isn't a curse, though it could well have been earlier, for animation is not my strong point.Some say that I have yet to find MY 'strong point'. I wouldn't like to tell you what will happen to these 'some people' (but if you're not easily offended or squeamish, look no further than my Gibbets & Stakes set for a idea). Anyway, moving on...
Bleeding walls. Yes, I can make your walls bleed. A single object that can be placed on any wall, can share the wall with pictures or windows without using any building cheats, and it's ANIMATED! Well, it wouldn'#t be much of a bleed if it wasn't animated, I guess.

So... I managed to delete a few blog entries.Well, be glad about it. It was waffle, after all. Now that I'm satisfield that DELETE works (rather TOO well), I shall now exercise caution in clicking the 'delete' word from now on.

There will be a slight delay with the new stuff I planned on submitting. Since I have TS2 Pets, and there is no new version of SimPE, my creations are conflicting with the game and giving me problems. So, I will have no new creations until the new version of SimPE comes out, which should be soon, I would hope.La Femme Nikita
I am once again moving some more of my older stuff over here from my Yahoo groups. This week I plan on submitting my skins based on fashions from the show La Femme Nikita. I am also adding some new LFN skins into the mix. I was watching my Nikita DVDs the other day, and decided I'd try some of the outfits that I wanted to do before, but didn't get to do because of time constraints. Continuing with the Nikita theme, I am trying to rework my version of Nikita's home that I made for my game so that I can submit that this week as well.

Hopefully later tonight, I will be submitting the Autumn Stuff Addon Set. Also, I hope to work on, and complete the Open For Business Set 4. I believe that will be the last OFB set I'll be making. However, I do plan on creating a Pets Set 1 and 2. Pretty much that will be a recolor set of the Atomic Theme Set.Also... I would like to say that I will begin work on a new "mini stuff pack" very soon. However, I will still be submitting to TSR. I will not be launching it until the end of December/beginning of January. I just wanted to announce this, however, I will not be revealing the theme of the pack for a little while.
Now, for my list of current projects. I have a few lined up! And, after my next set, I should be at the 1000 creation mark! I can't believe it!

Ghost
I have remade my ghost from last year to have interactions. One bigger and one smaller wersion of ghosts. Can be used by childs and toddlers. They will look at it in the right spirit of halloween, a litte scary but adds fun. The ghost is animated and disapear and comes back. If you cant see it when placed on ground, start the game and it will appear.

Well I think the submissions reviewers may kill me! I just submitted my SEC college sets, 2 sets of African print skirts, AND another set of tropical bikinis. I guess I should plan some other acitivies for my vacation, cause when Im left to my own devices, I spend most of the time on the Sims..Well thats bout it, I hope ya'll enjoy all the stuff Ive submitted. I especially hope the African skirts are something ya'll really like.

Yeah, yeah... I need to make a banner. I don't really mind that it says, "Creations By Someone," as I AM someone...Someday I'll make a super cool, amazing banner and put it up. I prooommmiissse. LOL

Closing Yahoo groups
As some of you may know, I have had two Yahoo groups for the past couple of years, where I have posted a ton of television themed skins. Since TSR has made the decision to make all Sims1 content free, even FA content, I have decided to close my Yahoo groups, and move everything over here so it is all under one roof. Over the next few weeks, I'll be moving things over here bit by bit. I'm starting with my older stuff at the archive group, and making my way to the most recent things on the main group. Giving a quick listing, these are the following things that wil be coming over to TSR:House, The Sopranos -- cast member faces(these will be posted this weekend)
La Femme Nikita -- fashions (I'm adding a few new items to this theme so it will be submitted this week and posted next weekend, I hope)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer -- cast member faces

X-Files -- this set was cast member faces but I'm undecided yet as to whether they are coming over or if I am "retiring" them
I do still plan on doing other tv show casts as well. I have been prepping stuff for Sex & the City(faces and fashions) and the 90's show Melrose Place(faces only). Given my fondness for shows that went to tv heaven a long time ago, I am also contemplating making faces(and possibly fashions) from the show Dynasty. If anyone has any requests for faces or fashions from a particular show, please let me know.
Luxury Doors and Windows
For my latest set I've converted the solid door, arch and the two windows that shipped with Glamour Life for base-game compliancy and made the glass recolorable. Also included are short window, 2-tile windows (long and short), small round window, attic round window and a glass door plus a bunch of recolors.

These brick stairs with matching steel rails were meant to be published during the current theme week yet as the submission system is down since August 10th on my account this won't be possible. All I can do is share the screenie with you. :)
Time to Celebrate
250,000 downloads! Thanks to all who have downloaded my creations and especially to those who rated them and commented on them. It's a small milestone compared to the FAs who have millions and millions of downloads, but it's not bad for a 6-month run. I'm really going to try to find the time to get my head around making my own meshes. I feel I owe it to you guys for all your support. Have a great, free-downloading weekend!Georgian Grandeur

Witching Week Begins
First, I'd like to give everyone at TSR a big thank you for choosing me to be among the first handful of 'Select Artists' - I am flattered and ever so grateful! And naturally, a big thank you also goes out to all of you fellow fans for helping me get this far. I realise it's been said many times before but that makes it no less true - your feedback and encouragement really do make all the difference in the world so thank you!Now, on to the new goodies. :D With the Hallowe'en theme week launching on Sunday, I have started to post some of my themed creations. Up first on the list you will find some spooky paintings to add to your Sim houses, featuring creepy cemeteries, haunted mansions and other ghoulish scenes.
Also, I'm pleased to say that I've received fantastic feedback on my latest colonial garden flag post mesh so you'll all be thrilled to hear that I've made a BIG batch of Hallowe'en themed flags to decorate your lawns with - 22 of them, in fact!
Expect these new creations to go live somewhere around Sunday or Monday. More should follow shortly, provided I can peel myself away from the new Pets EP long enough to continue creating! :P

Ok, just submitted the 2nd set of my NCAA College Series. That would be the Big 10.. which for some reason I dont understand has 11 teams.... I guess ya hafta be a guy to get it. Anyhow.. I hope ya'll enjoy it.Im also working on a set of African Print Skirts. I saw the swatches and just couldnt wait to try something with them. They are really neat, I just hope I can do them justice.

Well the big event is almost over. Hubby's party is Saturday with a dinner at my home on Friday for the early arrivers. Everyone is gone by Monday, so it will be a VERY full weekend--then back to a normal life and my lovely milkshape and simpe. :)Soon

Howdy Everyone!
Well, gonna try to post to this blog again. Gotta love site updates and upgrades!Right now Im working on a huge project. Well its huge to me anyhow. Im combining my love of college football (Go Sooners!!) with my love of creating new looks for my sims. Hopefully everyone will enjoy the results. Ive submitted the first set; ACC, and will be submitting more as I finish them. Wow are there a lot of colleges out there.. hehe
I just want to take a second to say thank you for everyone's comments and feedback on my creations. Im really new to this creation stuff, so it really helps me to get both your positive feedback and your suggestions to improve my work. I hafta admit Im really enjoying watching my rating improve as I learn new things.
Also, I just hafta add that I just got Pets, and Im having a blast with just so far having created a cat and a dog.. sad isnt it. In fact, I cant wait to get back to it to play with them.
Well I guess Ive talked enough for now.

Hello and Welcome!
As you can probably tell I mostly do recolors. Why you may wonder? Because I cannot make meshes. Okay, I can- but trust me, no one wants them. LOL! I'm always in awe of those artists who can make nice meshes.I do make my own walls, floors and terrains periodically. I guess I stick my fingers in a little of everything for Sims 2. It really depends on my mood.
I'm always open to suggestions, questions and constructive criticsm. Mind you, "This sucks!" is not constructive. I need to know why it sucks- details!
I just got Pets so all creation has come to a screeching halt for actual gameplay as I've been waiting, very impatiently, for it's release. If you don't believe me you can ask the GameStop employees in my area... I think they know my voice now. LOL!
I've also made the critical decision to uninstall Universtiy. It's the EP I use the least. It's either that or I have to upgrade my computer again. So, obviously, I will not be recoloring anymore items (hair) that specifically require that expansion. Yesterday I was running all the EP's plus Glamor Life (which also won't be reappearing on my computer)and while it worked it also maxed out my Virtual Memory and my CPU which really dragged everything down... so freakin' slow!
Until I can afford to upgrade I'm just not going to worry about it.
Ruffles & Lace For Teens
This is my first ever set for teens and the first of two sets I have created using Windkeeper's wonderful new Teen Ruffle Skirt Mesh. This set comprises four skirts worn with strappy sandals, and four matching 3/4 sleeve cotton tops. The textures are based on those used in my little girl ruffle skirt set, adapted for the teen mesh. The matching tops use a standard Maxis mesh.
Thanks to Windkeeper for permission to use her mesh.

3 new meshes & 1 in the wings
I made the athletic hooded outfit that was published earlier--then I made a plus version--then this morning I saw the note from Charmd asking for other sizes--SO, I made a teen version. I've been Meaning to make this for a long time. So, I forgot to make it available to elders, but I'm going to go back and do that now. If you already downloaded the regular set, redownload OR change it in Simpe. It's pretty easy and I think that Dr. P explains it or someone has a tutorial, I can't remember. I figure it out each time I do it though. It's a neighborhood browser thing. Anyway, I'll have it done by 130PM PST (US) on Sunday!Oh! And I'm working on a new sexy mini skirt with Al's shoes--bottom only. I'll keep you posted!

I've uploaded the Dishwasher Set and Trashcompactor set. These two sets are currently pending, as well as the Autumn Stuff Set.I will be uploading the Autumn Stuff Addon Set within the next day or so.

New body meshes for girls
3 new meshes, work in progress. I liked the way the pants turned out on my girls babydoll mesh, decided to try and make same type of pants as a stand alone mesh. Next step was to make a matching top to go with pants. I experimented with OFB puff shoulder top, turned it into more flat kind but still keeping nice babydoll shape of the bottom. It turned out pretty well :). So I played more - added bell shape sleeves. There is still a lot of work for all the meshes, need to create matching fat meshes for example. And of course recolors. I also want to try one more top mesh - same shape but without sleeves. Wish me luck! :)
New Stuff
Currently, I am waiting for the Autumn Stuff Set to be approved and published. However, I decided that since the Autumn Stuff set was not that big, I am currently creating an addon set, which offers more colors for the objects that are apart of the Autumn Stuff Set. There will not be any walls/floors/groundcovers in the addon set.Once I am done with the Autumn Stuff Addon Set, I will resume finishing up the other neighborhoods I created, and submit those.
After that project, I will begin working on some new lots, and some new object sets.

Missing Meshes in a zip
**Edit: The problem has been fixed. The meshes should now be in there. ** I have had some reports that the meshes are missing in the Marley Wentworth Basic Pajamas zip. I did check my copy of the zip that I sent in and the meshes were there originally. Something happened in the uploading process, and the meshes were somehow omitted. I am currently sending in a corrected zip with the meshes in there again, so hopefully the site admin should have that posted soon. Here is my own Ode To Autumn, the "season of mists and mellow fruitfulness", with its beautiful, rich colours and crisp, sunny days; the evokative scent of bonfires hanging in the air...Ahhhhhh...Autumn is possibly my favourite season, so long as it doesn't rain! :-)This set is for adults and young adults and comprises four long, feminine skirts in patchwork fabrics, worn with belts with ornamental buckles. To go with the skirts, I have made four cute cropped cable knit cardigans in complementary colours, worn over lacy vest tops and accessorised with delicate silver and gold necklaces.
The skirt came with University and was originally for young adults only, however I have made my skirts available for adults too. The tops are adapted from one that came with Nightlife and originally had no bumpmap. I'm quite pleased with myself for managing to create a bumpmap for this mesh - the first time I've successfully done this!
You must have University installed for the skirts to appear in your game.

More Food
I've been getting quite a few requests for more food, so I thought it'd be appropriate to update my blog with this info rather than sending that many PMs. :)I am currently working on the following sets: Chinese, Japanese, Sushi, and Mexican. They should be published in the next 2-3 weeks.
Although I haven't started on the following, these are on my to do list: UK, German, Spanish
I am also thinking of sets such as deli (soups, subs & sandwiches), general seafood, easy microwave dishes, sweet treats, cookies, just desserts, cakes, pies & more...
I think the list is pretty much endless :)
Although I may take a break from food here and there to create some object sets, I am planning to create most (if no all) of what's on my list .
If I have missed any great ideas, please feel free to send your suggestion to me via PM. I can't promise I'll be able to make it, but I'll definitely consider it.
Happy (Belated) Thanksgiving!
Okay, so I'm a week late but I've wanted to make these flag posts for ever and it just seemed natural to make the flags seasonal to the holidays so please bare with me. I'm sure that your Sims will enjoy them regardless of their lateness. :)I've collected various flag objects in the past but have only ever come across wall mounted versions and I admit, I'm more partial to the ground post style. This flag model is similar to those colonial type welcome flags that have become a popular trend over the last few years (such as the one my parents have in their yard :D ) so hopefully it will also appeal to you and your Sims' tastes, too. The set, in addition to the base mesh, comes with 3 autumn themed flags, 3 Thanksgiving themed flags and 8 post colours in both natural wood and painted varieties.
Unfortunately I do not have an ETA on these - with the current upgrades and programming problems occuring on TSR, submission approvals seem to be lagging but hopefully you will not have to wait overly long. Also, keep your eyes open for new Hallowe'en themed flags coming shortly, too.
