Just a few screenshots!
A few screenshots of my next set, "Victoriana" which is a recolor of my Magnolia Hills Dining set.
Monarchy in the USA!
Its been a little while since I have done any actual clothing, so I was eager to get back into that for my latest project. Its a collection of pretty dresses in nine different colors. It has a sequined butterfly pattern on the chest, and is ruched under that, and a mathching sequined hem. Its a combination of dress I designed a few years ago, and a shirt that I saw on the net that inspired me. I hope you all like it. I'll be updating with some hair in a week or so, so look out for those.Back to work!
Tabletop shelf
I'm adding one more custom shelf to the dresser top shelves set - tabletop shelf. If all works well, that tiny glass shelf will allow you to place objects in the center of the table without the cheat codes
First New MESH!
I said when I started my summer vacation I would finally try my hand at meshing. Well, that was in June and here we are in August already with nothing to show for it - until today. Fest your eyes on my long-awaited new creation - a marble pedestal end table for displaying your fancy sculptures, plants or even the phone. :P
So far I have 5 additional colours and the beta testing I've completed myself is showing no problems, although I might see if a few friends might test it out just to be sure before I release it upon poor, unsuspecting players. :D
Apologising AGAIN
And THIS week's apology is for the Castle Ramparts and Ruins set.The apology is aimed at anyone who doesn't own an expansion pack. If you don't own an EP and you downloaded this set, the windows didn't show in your game. I have now FIXED these and you can redownload the revised set by clicking the image below...

Castle Ramparts and Ruins - Revised
If you find that other objects I've created won't show, then let me know by sending me a personal message.
Under construction
So, it's started: the thundering sound of masses of construction industry downloads tumbling from the TSR skies...I thought that, this time, I'd finally outdone myself in nerdiness. I mean, it IS nerdlike to enjoy making cranes, pipes and struts - surely!
But... You LIKE it! And I'm delighted! I've had quite a few personal messages, comments and the like from you saying how you love this latest stuff. So, big grin on MY face! Hopefully, you'll find it gets better and better. I wanted to release the building basics first (walls, floors, columns) but the more theme-specific object sets will come next. As each set is released, I'll be featuring them on my mini-site so that you'll be thoroughly bored by it come September.
And if you think this theme is simply not for you? Trust me when I say that one of those rusted oil drums will look perfect in granny's cosy sitting room.
Another spacesaving idea - wall bookshelves
Something else I'm working on - fully working wall hanging bookshelves and also a matching one for the desk top. No cheat codes required, just place the bookshelf as you would a painting. There are three different height shelves that can be used together or separately. I'm adding colors that will be suited for kids room since the shelf design is fairly simple.
Sandy Aquatica Bedroom
I picked up another request for more recolours of the FFS objects and thought a sandy beach brown version of the underwater themed bedroom (I call it 'Aquatica') would be nice for those tropical themed homes and mellow Sims. :) Hopefully this set will go live come this weekend but with this being prime vacation time, you might expect it at the beginning of next week instead.
Unexpected absence - back now
Sorry to have been away again. Just after we got back from holiday, my last surviving aunt died, and I was her executor so I've been down in England sorting her house, etc.I'm just back on Tuesday. I'd started work on a real-life English castle, which I finished up testing this morning, so I'll post more about it soon.
Next Project?
What's my next project? I am working on a recolor of my Magnolia Hill Dining set. The set will match my Antique Gold recolor sets. Stay tuned for screenies. Also, I'm working on a tea cart, I've always wanted one of those in "real life," LOL!Work in progress: dresser top shelves
I'm working on a set of shelves designed to hide inside a dresser top. With the shelf in place you can put objects on top of the dresser. Since each dresser is of different height, I made a shelf for each one, at least for those in the picture. Don't think we need to put stuff on top of an armoire or a tall dresser. There is also a pair of small shelves for OFB decra-chill fridge and one more shelf for a vanity.
Emme -- Plus sized clothes
*Adding pics* My project for the next couple of weeks is to create some plus-sized skins for your larger Sim women. These will be based on the Emme dolls by Robert Tonner & the Tonner Doll Company, which were inspired by the real life plus-sized model Emme. I'll also be making faces to go along with the clothes. I'll be spreading these out over two weeks because I have quite a few planned. As always preview photos will be posted as the outfits are completed. The outfits I complete this week will be in this blog entry, and I'll post another blog entry for the following week.

Help! Looking for a mesh
I'm looking for a specifically shaped mesh for my next project but I can't find a suitable one anywhere :-( . The closest I've been able to find is a subscribers only mesh at Sim Chic and an alpha dress mesh at MTS2 but the creator will not allow re-colours to be posted on any pay site. Can anyone point me in the direction of a free mesh for either whole body or bottom half only, with a full skirt - not too A-line, kind of bell-shaped, mid-calf length or just above the ankle (is that called ballerina length?) - preferably with simple heels, not platforms or any kind of fancy shoe mesh? There was a mesh in this style for Sims 1 which came with Makin' Magic - I used it to make a several skins, e.g.
Zigana
If the skirt was slightly longer and fuller that would be fine.
Hope someone can help!
Beacon Falls Intros & Backstories
The joint neighbourhood project I've been contributing to, Beacon Falls, is nearly ready for download! It's been quite exciting to see this project come together and I'm eagerly anticipating seeing what players do with all of the creations. :)
Lechapeau has posted a little designer diary story on the Exchange detailing a variety of the families found in the base neighbourhood. You can also read more detailed backstories of more of the families included as written by their creators in the Beacon Falls: Beginnings thread here on the TSR Stories forum.
Dancing Dragon Dining
Well, the Dancing Dragon Dining is finally uploaded and it looks like it will be ready for release on August 4th. Other than the rug mesh from Windkeeper and Echo, the rest of the set is based solely upon Cashcraft's meshes. More specifically her Magnolia Dining Set. It's in the Anglo-Japanese style of the mid 19th century and I hope you enjoy itI've already got the wallpaper for my next set, I just need to figure out exactly how to execute the room I've envisioned. I'm wanting to move forward into the early 20th century to the Arts and Crafts style. It's beautiful but far more relaxed than the previous century. Gone are all the embellishments of the Victorian age. The formal parlor of yesteryears is replaced with the living room and the library was added. We move on to a time when comfort and function are the order of the day. Instead of the sometimes stiff design of previous eras, the Arts and Crafts movement was about a natural flow. It was beauty in simplicity.
There maybe a bit of a lag as my computer time might be limited for the next few weeks.
In the meantime, happy simming! :)
National Tartan Kilts
Recently, I was asked if I would make a version of my previous kilts using the Irish National Tartan. Hope you like it, John! I decided that to complete the set I would also create kilts in the Scottish and Welsh National Tartans.
I've given the Scottish kilt a thistle buttonhole, the Welsh kilt a daffodil buttonhole and the Irish kilt a shamrock brooch. Otherwise, they are basically the same as my previous kilts in that each outfit comes complete with sporran (leather pouch worn on a chain around the waist on the front of a kilt), sgian dubh ("black dagger" - in sock), kilt hose, matching flashes (garters), lace-up leather brogues (shoes) and belt buckle with thistle motif. These kilts are based on the original Maxis Sims 1 and Sims 2 kilts and use the standard Maxis mesh that came with The Sims 2. As I've explained previously, they aren't 100% authentic because I'm limited by the shape of the Maxis mesh (for a formal occasion, usually a tie or bow tie would be worn rather than an open necked shirt, and the outer jacket would have long straight sleeves). I have categorised these outfits as formal wear as they are usually only worn to weddings, formal dances, etc, these days. This time they are available for adults and young adults (provided you have University installed).
Again being lazy
I have to have a few days again without creating clothes, because I bought the sims 2 for the play station, and I have to get involved. Some power draws me to the TV now instead of the computer and my boyfriend is really happy so he can play computer.Im really disappointed of the graphics I have to say, but the little missions in the game are really fun and its a new challenge to actually "play" again.
I just love everything about the sims :-)
I will upload new things again though in about three days.
Requests
I am nearly done with all my recent requests just one reflective floor set left to upload.Sometimes but not always it's nice to create a recolour set that matches a previous one, except in a different room type.I wouldn't want to be doing them all the time though,I did enjoy doing the Coralline colour theme again.I am so glad I keep all the textures that I use.Often one texture can be used to a variety of things and looks different everytime, others you use one time and wish you could find a use for it again.
Thank you to those who have been making recolour requests lately, they have been really enjoyable to do, I hope you all like them.
New Toddler Chair and Table
I have been making new a chair and a table that both workes as my other toddler ones. They must have some to choose from, dont they.
Lot tutorial: NEW chapter!
I've made TWO important changes to the Lot Submission tutorial.Firstly, I'd missed out something important when testing your lots: your Downloads folder MUST be empty of everything except the CEP file (_enableColorOptions) if it exists.
Secondly, I forgot to talk about what to do when you use meshes that borrow their textures from other meshes (known as 'master/slave' meshes). You probably already know about bedding (if you don't, I've covered that too), but the same also applies to custom meshes and you need to know what to include in your lot when you use them.
You can download the revised tutorial here:

Who's responsible for these errors and omissions? Well, if I had a secretary, I would blame him, but I don't. It is the ill work of my own hand. So, sue me.
Update - Round Synagogue Windows
While working on additional synagogue windows I noticed that my round synagogue windows were not base game compliant. They have now been updated. You only need to redownload the mesh files, old recolors will still work.We have just bought a Beagle puppy today. He is so adorable.
Hello, lovely simmers. I want to share you this news because I think we are big happy family who love the same thing called 'The Sims'. We already have 2 Snoodle ( Poodle+Schnauzer ) at our place. But we could not resisted his charm so we bought this cute puppy. Here is Toffy, about 2-3 months old.
This photo was taken by my humble cellphone so it looks crappy.
We keep him in a cage with his toy and water at night when he sleep so he can't destroy our house when we sleeping.
He is so handsome, friendly, and playful, but a bit too hyper.
We almost could not get this whelp if we have decided to buy him a few minutes after we actually did.
Because when my mom went to ATM to withdraw some cash to pay the shopkeeper, another family came to buy another Beagle puppy in the same cage and seem to want Toffy, too. But the shopkeeper said he was sold to me and my younger sister.
The one bought by that family will be taken to foreign country.
He is sleeping now.
Ps. He will have his 1st vaccination next week. But we already take him to our vet this evening and she said he is healthy.
Best regard
Tae
Moving some heads from my Yahoo group
During my little break this week, I decided to move some of the stuff from my Yahoo group over here to TSR. So, I have submitted a set of 6 faces from the defunct television series Witchblade, which ran on TNT during the summers of 2001 and 2002. I have also submitted faces for the casts of the television shows CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: New York. In all I have submitted 20 faces this week. Those should be published next weekend. I've posted some pics below as a preview. Just a small note...I have switched head meshes for Catherine Willows of CSI, so while the face will be the same, the hairstyle that I have submitted here for her will be different than in the preview pic below. I'll post back tomorrow with more information on the project that I'm tackling for this week.

Pink and Gold
Hi everyone! I have just uploaded some new stuff! It's been a while as I've been doing other projects including PSP tutorials -(can you see the difference?) You may notice that I'm into pink and gold at the moment.... Anyway, hope you like 'em!Happy Simming/Downloading/Creating!
New tutorial and more FFS stuff
If you ever wondered what polygon count is and if you need to worry about it, then my new tutorial is for you. I also made a new addition to FFS. A single bed and two bookcases that match FFS Fantasy objects and will use all the colors of that theme.
Okay, I'll stop the mission stuff for a little. Still working on Dens & Denettes Mission style for him and her.
Started working on recolor FFS aquatic items. Just in time for Windkeepers new meshes. Currently, Little Mermaid in purple bubbles. Will upload w/o 7/31/06. Working on pink bubbles for little mermaid, finding nemo & sponge bob.
Thanks for the continued support and downloading of my recolors. Enjoy! (comments welcomed, It warms my heart to read the wonderful things you have to say)
Some photoes from my recent visite at Samui Island in Gulf of Thailand last weekend.
Hello everyone, I am still alive & kicking. There is only about 5 days after my long final tests at university. Last weekend my family have visited Samui Island in Gulf of Thailand. It is a beautiful isle full of interesting stuffs to do. We have departed from Bangkok to Samui Island at 6:00AM--the first flight to the island. My family ( Dad's reletives ) have business here ranged from hotels, spas, restaurants, houses for rent, etc. We stay at our family's beach resort. Here are a few snapeshot 'Samui Seaview Villas" a wonderful village project by my dad and some other people. This woman is my beloved mom.
This is view from the 1st level of villas --the higher the more magnificent.
Every villa is guaranteed to have at least a room with seaview.
Here are photoes taken when we visite my cousin's resort project in another island on Satureday.
Waiting for the speed boat. That girl next to me is Tib, my younger sister --she is a high school girl.
We have arrived at Phangan Island --we can only viste it by speed boats or ferries.
During the way to other parts of the island.
At Thansadej - Koh Phangan National Park --This is where visited by King Rama V. But there is no vehicle left so we can not go to the highest waterfalls which is the prettiest.
During the way to local restaurant for lunch.
The restaurant owner gave us a ride to a guanyin temple.
This was taken at my dad's hotel constuction site --4 storeys with 37 guest rooms.
On Sunday, we have gone to AngThong National Park --it is a great archipelago with about 44 isles. But we have not taken any photo.
It is so beautiful, you should see it by yourself.
We have lunch at a local fisherman village on one of the islands.
Before we went home by plane, we have dinner at my aunt's hotel. It is really exquisite.
The plane was about 1 hour delayed so it left Samui Island at 10:30PM --The last flight to Bangkok.
Now I am fully recharged.
Best regards,
Wittawat Srikwan aka. Tae
Reflective Floor Recolor
Recently, I start to recolor BitzyBus Mirror Floor, this is one of them I take in my game, more recolors are coming soon!!
New Set
I haven't been able to spend much time in the sim world, either playing or retexturing. Only enough time to keep me sane, (relatively speaking :D)I've been working on a recolor of Cashcraft's Magnolia Hill Dining Room in the anglo-japanese style. As you probably know, the style became popular in the mid-19th century, originating in England and quickly spreading to the US. It can be quite rich and opulent and is one of my favorites. Hopefully when it's finished, it will be one of your favorites too!
I may have a screenshot for you soon but it will still be a work in progress. Things may change as I continue working with it.
First Non-Maxis Mesh Recolour
Firstly I must thank Shoukeir for giving me her permission to recolour her "Tis" Curtain / Room Divider. I have had this object since it was first uploaded to TSR but always demised the fact that it only came in one colour. I had a lot of rooms decorated in earthy reds and deep oranges! SimPe is scary! I've mastered the Wizard and DDS Utilities - well it is a wizard! So my second bout of special thanks goes to Simaddict99 for her tutorial on recolouring objects with SimPe. So... Durrah!! here they are: ...
Playboy Bunnies
Did you notice my new avatar? Well, it was only a matter of time, really :-)...I finally managed to locate a Bunny Girl mesh, thanks to Lady DarkFire, and have at last been able to update my Sims 1 Bunnies and create my version of the Playboy Bunny Girl for Sims 2. What do you think?
The mesh was created by Aardvarkams and can be downloaded from ModtheSims2 (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=48069). The mesh for the Bunny ears was created by Windkeeper, and is available here at TSR (http://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/Windkeeper/downloads/sims2/sets?ID=284735).
If you're a Sims 1 fan, you may have encountered my Sims 1 Bunny Girls. As with the Sims 1 Bunnies, I've tried to make my Sims 2 Bunnies as authentic as possible. The main difference with the Sims 2 version is that I've given all the Bunnies black stilletos rather than shoes to match their outfits as I think the black shoes are more elegant. In real life the Bunnies had matching shoes.
Here is an extract from a sixties recruitment brochure I found online (http://www.explayboybunnies.com):
"The Bunny costume consists of a smart satin suit (custom-designed for your alone), rabbit ears, cottontail, cuffs with Playboy cuff links, collar with bow tie, name medallion, heels and hose. Your Bunny costumes and accessories are furnished to you by the Playboy Club, with the exception of the dyed-to-match shoes, which you purchase, and the special hose which are provided for you at cost."
I wasn't sure how to categorise these outfits as they don't seem to fit into any of the standard categories, so I've designated them "everyday".
For a complete Bunny costume, you will need to download the body texture, ears texture and ears mesh from TSR and the body mesh from MTS2. The Bunny costume comes in 11 colours: black, emerald, pink, primrose, azure, gold, silver, lilac, ice blue, amethyst and aquamarine.
One thing leads to another...
Well it started with playing around with trying to create a matching bedding for a wall I had created using some clip art, and so whilst trying to make something realistic I stumbled across some fabulous textures. So then went on and created several sets of bedding using Aussie Topenders Lucas Bedding Creator and several textures I have been meaning to use for ages. So then, being the big fan of curtains that I am, but not unfortunately the ones that the Lucas object creator does, I went ahead and created matching loft curtains. Then bedding and curtains need walls and floors and so it went on... ...and as promised months ago I still had files waiting to be collected together, named and submitted so here we go...a quick preview of some of the items coming to a screen near you...soon.
Maxis-Match "Lap of Luxury" Seating
With my Soup Legacy family currently working their way through the Victorian generation of the Progressive challenge, I've found a sad lack of old fashioned furniture for decorating with. I loved the look of the "Lap of Luxury" sofa, but there was no matching loveseat or armchair to use with it. So, naturally enough, I broke out the meshing program and SimPE, and made a pair. Now if only I could figure out how to adequately remesh the "Luxuriare" loveseat as a sofa and armchair as well - it's so much easier to cut a big mesh down to a smaller one then to try and size a mesh up instead!
I am back!
Whoa, it's been a long time... and I missed the sims and all of you so much!I have been sick and had to keep the bed fow a while... than we moved and I began a new job. But now I am back, and I have plenty of new stuff to upload and lots of ideas too! I hope you will like it :)
Thanks to all of you who downloaded my clothing and leave me such nice comments, it was really sweet to read you all! <3
Oops, that didn't quite work
Not every house I build makes it to publication. Just to prove it here's a little taste of what's ended up on the cutting room floor. The Good

Now on the face of it, this appears to be a very desirable residence. The reason this got scrapped is that the upstairs rooms were such a weird shape and totally unusable.
The Bad

I decided the roofline on this one just wasn't working for me, especially over the garage. Yuck!
And the Just Plain Ugly

Had I been able to pull this off with a shallower roof pitch it would have looked sensational. As it turned out...what a mess!
Tropical Reef Coral Collection
Back to aquariums! With still quite a bit of aquarium material on my 'list', I have another big set for you - coral recolours. Using Windkeeper's CBA coral meshes, you can now add 6 new varieties of brain corals, branch corals, serpulid worms and tube sponges to your aquariums. Each object contains a unique texture, which hopefully approaches the real thing. Although as Wind herself stated, it's very hard to replicate Mother Nature's stunning creations. ;) I've also tried to provide a good mixture of bright and murky colours so you can create different styles of reefs.
Honey Bee series is finished, I now back to the Pinewood set again. See the double bed on the right, do you like it?
The up coming set will be "Pinewood Bedroom". I will try to finish this set before week-end...
