The Serenity Bedroom
I've just uploaded the Serenity Bedroom and I expect it will be published within the next few days.As you've no doubt noticed, I really like bold, dramatic colors and this is my attempt at something much softer. One of the things that always kinda bugged me about the bedding is how flat it is. This time I've attempted to make a realistic quilted "comforter". I think it came out pretty well. Now if I can just figure out how to put pillow shams on the pillows! :P I hope you like the set and can use it in your game.
The Valdosta Bathroom is still stuck on my old hard-drive :( but I have hopes of getting it back in the next few days. Since it's almost complete, once I have it, it won't take long before it's up here and available.
Crystal Clear Sims has had a theme month for all things tropical and I have submitted a tropical living room there. It has yet to be published but, as soon as it is, I'll make note of it here. In the meantime, here's a small screenshot of that room. :)
More Etcetera...
Hey everyone. I just uploaded four sub-sets called "etcetera" for women. These are files that dont really fit cleanly in to any other category, and I have been wanting to release them for some time. I am pretty fond of this set, I think there is something for everyone. I hope you will all agree. I will soon be updating with a set of shimmery lipsticks seen in some of the screenshots for the etcetera collection. I have an awful lot on my schedule, so I better get back to it!Disney Collection Door
Do you want a door for your kid room? Why not ;D

Happy Birthday America!!!
America is now 230 years old! In celebration of America's Birthday I made some simple "Independence Day" walls and floors; they're not real fancy, but they are festive lookiing. I hope you and your Sims will enjoy the bright Reds, Whites and Blues! They will be published and available for download tomorrow, July 4th. Here is the preview picture:
200+comments!!!
I'll never be able to respond to them all. But I want everyone to know that I do appreciate them all.Retireing
From this point on, I'll no longer be making things for TSR.. I've had to stop doing things for myself and thinks of my family and kids.Thank you for all the downloads and nice words you have given me up to this point.
The content i have now will always remain here, and not be removed.
Thanks for all you have done for me here,
BayouBabe!
Work in progress - custom built aquarium
New decorative set I'm working on - custom built aquarium. Build any size you want, populate it with fish and sharks, add some seaweeds at the bottom, scatter some trasure and you all set :). I'm bringing back some objects from my Shark Lagoon, modified for this new function. As well as adding some new ones, just finished a pearl clam for example. Please don't ask if fish swim, they do NOT! Deal with it! lol!
Poop!
Well, something like that anyway. There's a 'technical hitch' preventing an upload of my latest tutorial Creating Transparent Floor Tiles. It seems like a server disk is full, possibly - and is being investigated.
Hopefully, all will be well shortly.
Tropical Paradise!
I just started making new object meshes, and recently uploaded a new Light Set and a Beach Umbrella Light. Hope you enjoy them. Now I'm busy uploading some Hair Recolors and some Painting Sets for the July Theme....Tropical Paradise! I want to try to make some new object meshes for the Theme, but I'm really slow at this right now so I suspect I won't have anything ready on time. But rest assured I'll be working on something Summery!
BTW, Happy 4th of July! Hope everyone has a nice BBQ or a nice day at the beach!
:)
Please! Read the rules before asking!
I'm getting really tired of answering the same question over and over again. Can your objects be used in the houses submitted to other sites? No. Why not? See TSR rules, a link to the rules is prominently displayed at the top left of every download page. You cannot upload meshes made by featured artists to any other site, even if you package them with houses. There are few windows by me posted at MTS2, those were exceptions and only those can be used. You do have another option however, upload your house to TSR! Not only you can use ANY mesh made by me in your houses, you can also benefit from many more creations made by TSRAA members!
Tropical Paradise Sheer Sarongs
Next week is the Tropical Paradise Theme Week. I plan to submit three sets, the first of which is a set of sheer sarongs in colourful tropical prints worn over an elegant white bikini with jewelled brooch giving a pretty ruched effect to the cups. I've also included the bikini minus sarong. The sarongs were inspired by an M&S sarong and the bikini was inspired by a La Perla swimsuit. The mesh for the sarongs was created by Biene and is called Alpha Nachthemd (is that German for nightdress?). It can be downloaded from www.sim2-fashion.de at http://89.149.194.98/sim2-fashion/datenbank/include.php?path=content/overview.php&letter=&catid=56&themeid=&type=4&order=&entries=8. The bikini without sarong uses a standard Maxis mesh. It can also be worn as underwear. All these items are for adults (and young adults if you have University installed).Thinking for you
If you're like me (and of course, I assume the Whole World IS like me), then you achieved absolutely NOTHING with Meccano. Remember that? Pieces of metal with holes that could be affixed to other, equally perplexing, flat pieces of metal with holes... I vaguely remember reaching the heady heights of having affixed FOUR identically flat pieces of metal together once, but, alas, four loose strips of metal seemed a long way from the absolute feat-of-engineering helicopter model adorning the Meccano set's box lid.But never fear. I'm uploading new bits of 'Alternative Meccano' for you to play with, and no screws required this time. You can look forward to such goodies as...
GirdersCranes
Cage walls
Truss flooring
Tanks
Barrels
Helipads
Masts
...And anything else I can think of.
Naturally, these will be ideal for making quaint cottages, pretty granny flats, baby's nursery and all sorts of romantic vistas for your Sims. You can always serve tea and cakes on an oil drum labelled 'poison'.
I think of everything for you, don't I.
Back, at least for now.
Well, I seem to be recovering from my depression. I don't know why it always takes me by surprise. This time a bout with a flu or something set it off. The last time it was an injury combined with a move to another state. But anyway, I've got inspiration again. There are a few meshes that have been hanging around on my computer too. So, hopefully I'll put my beautiful new monitor, which I got RIGHT before my depression snuck up on me, to use.I started working on the Middle Earth set again. Had to set it aside for awhile. I just finished the animation for the Eye Of Sauron..now on to build the rest of the tower under it! I also was able to give it a slight glow at night. I am going to look through the lighthouse file and see if I can find the code to make the eye project a light. That would be cool. Next on my list is the flowing flames of Mount Doom. I want to build animated walls to go inside, of flame, so your Sim can live inside it. Here is a simple Gif image I made of the Eye:
Age Concern
Hi fellow Simmers! I have just uploaded some clothing for our more mature Sims. Hope you like 'em! (Now what shall I do next......?)Back up and Running!
I'm back up and running but unfortunately, the set I was working on is trapped on the old hard-drive. A friend has said he thinks he can rescue them for me so, until then, the Valdosta bathroom will be put on hold.I'm not exactly sure what the next set will be yet. I have my head full of ideas but which one will win is a mystery to me. I'm thinking of possibly something in an asian style. As soon as I know and have something to show, I'll put it up here.
Happy Independence Day!
Dolls other than Barbie
*Done adding pics* Yes, folks, for as much as I love Barbie, there are other dolls out there that I like too. And they have some beautiful clothes that would look fantastic on my Sims. So, this week, I'm going to venture out of the Barbie realm for a moment(don't worry Barbie fans, I have tons of Barbie clothes both modern and vintage on my To-Do list), and tackle some other doll fashions.I've been collecting pics of a lot of the Tonner dolls(Tyler Wentworth, Kitty Collier, et al), the Alex collection by Madame Alexander, and some lesser known dolls that have peaked my interest.(I'm sure my hubby is getting tired of seeing doll pics on our computer.) From all of those pics, I've decided on a few to do for this week. There will be a couple of outfits from the Janay dolls by Integrity Playline, and some others based on the RuPaul dolls by Jason Wu, inspired by the famed entertainer RuPaul. Previews of the skins, and pics of the dolls that inspired them, will be posted as I go along.

Large French chateau
I had been getting ready for some additions to my English Villages series, but a sketch of one made me think of a French house with a coach house out front to be used as a home business. So I've been working on it (these large multi-level buildings take me 2 days, and then another 3-4 days to test them properly with a large Sims family.) :lol:It's called Chateau Dubois. Like my French manor, it makes use of my new ideas about raised and pediment roof gables. I'll just get some phots ready and publish it next week.
Can't get enough of Helios windows?
I know I can't! lol! I am working on new doors and windows, Helios style. There are so many already that I had to split them into two sets. But first make sure to download some updates. I have fixed a small bug in sliding doors that caused difficulty picking up the windows from the wall next to those doors. Also fixed a glass color of 2-tile diagonal window that I missed before, the glass now matches the other windows from the set. And now the new windows :). What's coming? 3-tile wide windows, 2-tile round window, new frame designes with railing, new glass colors, matching doors. What's special? Curved windows! You will be able to build round corners or use them for shoping windows, your choice :). I'm also experimenting with new high gloss glass recolors. Just watch my calendar for July

Intro
Hi everybody!!Thank u for visiting my mini-page.
I have loved the Sims since it came out many years ago. My life changed once I discovered custom content.
I hope you like my creations as much as I enjoyed making them!!
Formally the webmistress of Debbysim Decor and Debbysims2, you will now find my creations here at TSR.
Hugs,
Deb
To refresh thumbnail previews
The ability to refresh the thumbnail previews in the game catalog is very useful, especially if you are a creator. It is well known, generated thumbnail views are stored in My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Thumbnails\ folder. If you delete all the files in there, the game will recreate them again. Here is a new trick to refresh thumbnail previews in BodyShop. I was working on hair mesh when I traced the previews to the file called cigen.package. The file is located in My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\ folder. Delete the file and run the BodyShop, the file will be recreated and all the previews generated anew.
Square Clock Mesh Updated
Just a quick note for everyone who downloaded my Square Clock set, I have Updated the Mesh today due to a problem with the Texture bleeding through, so you will need to download the Mesh again to correct any faults.Andrea:)
The Valdosta Bathroom Collection
I know, I know. I absolutely can't restrain myself when it comes to Cashcraft's meshes! I'm like a kid in a candy store! You wouldn't believe how many meshes I've downloaded from the artists here at TSR, and I have plans for each and every one! :D I should live so long! lolInstead of putting the preview in the blog, I uploaded it to the main page of my minisite. If you look, not everything in the screenshot is recolored, but it eventually will be! I'm afraid I'm making a massive set!
As for my computer, I have to give her credit! Everytime I turn her on, I hear, "System Failure! System Failure", and she's not so dependable at this point but she's hanging on by the skin of her teeth! I'm told that tomorrow my computer tech will be home from a long vacation and hopefully we'll soon be humming happily along again.
Mijn eerste Keer
Nou dit is dus mijn aller eerste post in mijn blog. In de toekomst zal ik vaker een berichtje hier achterlaten. Dus ik zie jullie dan allemaal.Groetjes
Mutske.
I wasn't kidding, you know!
Yes, I really was embarking upon an oil rig. Well, you don't see many of those about on 'Sims-Dot-Net', do you? But I did relent and added some parking (off the screen) and a few bedrooms, etc. The finished abode of utmost desire! An ideal way to escape the relatives, at last (I can say this safely knowing that none of my relatives frequent TSR - do they?)
Beacon Falls
I've been a bit quiet on the creation front since the weekend. Part of that is due to Midsummer celebrations but in part it's also due to a new project I've gotten involved in: a new collaborative neighbourhood creation called Beacon Falls. You may have heard of Maple Valley over the course of last year. It was an amazing project where many forum-goers banded together to create a pre-made neighbourhood similar to Plesantview, Strangetown or Veronaville by Maxis that came with pre-made houses, stores and families with backstories, etc. In fact, Maple Valley became the inspiration for several other collab neighbourhood projects (which you can find in the Lots & Challenges forum) and now Lechapeau has stirred up interest again. :)
If you're at all interested in joining the project, which I highly recommend, you can still get involved. You can find the forum thread here: Beacon Falls, although I'll warn you that there is already quite a lot of writing and posts continue to pile up quickly throughout the days even now (we're a very active, chatty bunch). Beacon Falls comes from a town of the same name in Connecticut, USA and as the name suggests, the base neighbourhood resides on the coast with a quaint old lighthouse (Bluewater template map). There is a local university with campus and a downtown/shopping district (I'll admit, I'm not entirely sure which one we decided to go with here, I think we're still testing things out).
We've had several people making houses, starting with some cookie cutter townhouse types and others have made some unique houses for specific Sims and there are some community locales but more of this type are definitely required. Custom families are starting to appear and we're currently submitting custom Townies, so no worries if you're sick of Ben Long showing up with the welcome wagon. :)
Right now I personally am creating some custom families with backstories and will more than likely submit some houses. However, seeing as I don't usually consider myself the Sim-creator type and I've had a massive creativity jolt for backstories, that's what I'm focusing on at the moment. I'll probably post these families and their stories here to read in my blog and if people find them interesting enough to want a copy, I'll happily email them since TSR only accepts celebrity Sims.
Happy Birthday!
To me.To celebrate this miracle of the world (me being born, in case you're in any doubt), I have had a refresh. Away with that dusty old industrial stuff on my mini-site page, and in with the futuristic!
Isn't that exciting?! You bet it is!
Mermaid Gowns
This series of gowns was inspired by a Jovani prom dress at eDressMe.com. This elegant strapless gown uses Marko's Mermaid Mesh, available here at TSR. The gown comes in over 20 different shades of taffeta embellished with contrasting black lace & floral beaded appliqu. It has a sexy boned bustier bodice with sweetheart neckline and is worn with a sparkling diamond necklace. For adults (and young adults if you have University installed). There will be several sets in this series. As usual, I'm starting with a classic Black & White set, which generally seems to be the most popular.Coming up - default replacements
A new kind of creations from me - default replacements. They are not really new to me, I've been playing with them for the last couple of months, even posted some at MTS2. But they are new to TSR. Some people call them hacks, I guess they should be classified as hacks just to be on the safe side. But I prefer to call them "defalut replacements", since they don't really affect the game or change any behavior of the sims, which makes them quite harmless. If you downloaded my Baby Diapers, then you already using one of my default replacements
Waiting for my computer tech
Seems like it's the last gasp for my computer until I can get a new hard-drive and video card installed, (and hopefully that's all I need). My computer tech is supposed to be back in town tomorrow, or the next day, and then I can get back up and running. Hopefully it won't be a long wait.Until then, enjoy the sims!
Surf and Etcetera...
As you can see, I just updated with my "Etcetera" collection for men. I had fun with this set, but I thought I should clarify its purpose to avoid any confusion. Its mostly for storytelling, but of course, it can be used to enhance gameplay. There are also two items in the set that are solely cosmetic, the lips and freckles.I also just uploaded my "surf" swimwear. As I stated in an earlier post, I was inspired by the coordinating Family Fun Stuff outfits. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome, I love how families look when they all match eachother! I hope you all like the set as well.
New Stuff!
Hi Simmers! Sorry it's been a while. I have just uploaded some medieval/fantasy and gothic style outfits. Hope you like 'em!Happy Simming!
The Valdosta
The Valdosta has been uploaded and is sitting in the pending bin waiting for approval. You may be wondering why I used the name "Valdosta" for this set. Several years ago when traveling through Georgia, I had the occassion to stay in a place that is reminiscent of this room. I don't remember if it was actually in Valdosta. The trip was like a whirlwind, running from one end of the state to the other, seeing everything we could possibly see. The places we saw were beautiful and rich in history but one of the things I remember most fondly are the people. Whether it was the guy at the gas station or the lady in the restaurant, we were always greeted warmly, as if we were family. They were all good, honest, hardworking people that were never too busy for a friendly or kind word. I guess there's all sorts of warm feelings and affection for those people wrapped up in this tiny little set.
Tea-Party
I have been making a table to go with the toddler chair and a decorative tea-party set. Not finished yet but here is a picture of what it will look like
These are what I painted about 8-10 years ago. --Painting by Numbers by Color&Co
These are what I painted about 8-10 years ago. That was when I realise I love art so much. They called 'Painting by Numbers' with picture outlines drawing on thick&hard papers with numbers in each part. I need to paint it using the colors provided such as 1 = White 2 = Red 3 = Blue and I also need to mix the colors to get the right colors like it it need purple it will has '2+3' in the part.
I used these for my new painting recolors set for TSR. I have recolored 'The Lady on Red' Painting.
These are what they look like in game.
I have upload it to TSR. This set will be available soon.
Best regards,
Te
Rigged!
No, I DIDN'T have anything better to do!No prizes for guessing the number of bedrooms and car parking spaces either...

Up Next -- Assorted Faces
*Adding pics* This coming week's project is a bunch of assorted faces both male and female. The Heads section hasn't had any submissions in a few weeks, so I think I'll toss some in. Preview pics wil be added later.
