She's gone urban mad!!!
Yes, I thought it was high time for a bit of "In yer face" treatment for Urban Renewal. I have a few new lots and sets for the series and so I thought I'd feature on some of the original works for those of you who haven't been around at TSR long enough to have seen the original release several months ago.My favourite set of all is out next: bathrooms of urban decay. I'll leave to your delectable imagination the 'public toilet' treatment of bathroom items, but nothing is 'overdone' (so there is no reason to fear if you're a tad squeamish like me). No more than 'just as it is'. Real Life.
Me? I'll stay indoors!
Coming Soon
I haven't got rid of the gardening bug...so a lot of my new meshes coming up are all garden objects...I have a door trellis with blossoms and ivy to decorate it, please note that to place the blossoms you will need to use the Move Objects cheat or CTRLandALT if you have OFB..
Next I have some Tubs of Roses to decorate your patios and gardens..
I have extracted a Neighbourhood object and scaled it down to be a garden ornament..it's a windmill and I'm still doing some recolours at the moment but here's a pic..
And I have also made a couple of Wheelbarrows, one is small and will have flowers in it to decorate your gardens and the other is a little larger..here's some pics...
Tutorial - BodyShop tips and tricks
Another tutorial from me, BodyShop tips and tricks, from basic to advanced. Some you know, some you forgot that you could use, and some you didn't even know :). Check it out!Gables, gables, and gables!
Here are 3 new buildings, each featuring new methods for creating traditional roof gables.
The French manor house (a real one in Brittany) and the schoolhouse feature raised gables that sit up above the roof lines, giving support and protection.
The little church was made with TSR's Thomas in mind, as a thankyou, but our youngest son is called Thomas so he came first! It features pediments - the sculpted, embossed triangular decorations on gable ends.
Hearts Entwined
My latest project is a set of formal gowns with boned bodices and full draped skirts - basically the kind of outfit I like making the most! The skirts are gold, the bodices are embroidered with trailing hearts and come in scarlet, black, silver, emerald, sapphire, fuschia, amethyst and copper. I've used Marko's beautiful ballgown mesh (available here at TSR) which I've seen used to very good effect by many other skinners and was inspired to have a go myself.Play tent
My latest. A playable play tent that adds fun. It was a struggle to get it to work and I am so proud!
TSRAA
I've finally managed to figure out the editing maze and now all my objects and meshes should be marked TSRAA. I was afraid I was going to have to go object by object to do it, but the TSR Techs got the system set so that I simply had to click one setting. So all those that would like to use my items in their lots are more than welcome to do so. :)
New Walls Soon....
I am working on a new set of walls, that I hope people will like...I know I like them. As personal taste is subjective some people will love them, some will think they're okay and some people will probably even hate them. Which group will you be in? Find out in a few days, as I will post some preview pictures on Monday or Tuesday, as soon as they are ready to be submitted to this site. Until then they will remain a mystery....Designer Fabric Sets
I think I have Spring fever! My current projects are 3 sets for the bedroom. Each set will have wallpaper, a rug and matching bedding for double and single beds. I am working with some bright and bold designs.... here is a peek of my first set.
More for Nursery Time!
I just uploaded a couple of sets of paintings for the Nursery Theme. And, since I really like to make matching room sets, I have a Pink Nursery Room set ready to upload also. Hope you like them! :)Tutorial - cleaning up hair recolors
This tutorial will teach you how to remove unwanted ages from the hair recolor file quick and easy way. Get rid of all those duplicate hairstyles for kids and toddlers for example that you couldn't delete before because they were part of the new adult hair mesh.Put ya Shades on!
Lol just when you think you cant go any brighter, well guess what? I do.Prepare yourselves folks and put your shades on.Because beleive me your gonna need them.My next set is certainly bright on the eyes,it certainly wont appeal to all.But if you find you like it thats great.Just a few words about Graphics and texture. On occasion I have received a few pm's on this. Some of you most likely already know this, for those that dont know this it may help.
I have all my in game graphic settings set to high,so if my recolors dont look as they do in my preview pics then it's because your in game graphic settings are set lower.
Turning these up will show detail and texture at it's best, some of you however may not be able to, simply because your graphics card may not be up to the job.
On my old Graphics card I could turn things up, but found after few minutes everything would becoming distorted and blurry, basicially meaning my card couldn't cope with the demands.
So if things dont appear as they do in my preview pics thats probably why.I dont enhance my screenshots in anyway, I just use more or less light in the game to get the effect I desire and take my screenshots from that.
Happy Simming all!
Uppdated objects
Thanks to Gabriella (Crissy6930) The pee-tree dont have any visible flush anymoreI have reupploaded the blue and peach mini flowers, as there was one colour missing in the set.
Toddler Toys
My daughter had her sweet 16 last weekend, so unfortunately I haven't had quite as much time to finish some of the objects I have planned for this weeks theme. I did just finish and upload my first toy set consisting of 4 new logic toys. More toys to come, keep tuned :)Adding 2 houses
*Last pics added* I am putting the finishing touches on a couple of homes, so they will be submitted along with the male heads that I am working on this week. There will be a Greek Revival house and an elevated coastal home, both unfurnished. Preview pics will be added soon.
Release Date, May 21st
Vintage Victorian Bedroom Part III, Add-ons is scheduled for release on May 21st. Set includes 6 New Meshes, sofa/loveseat, arm chair, coffee table, single bedframe and canopy, and decorative dressing gown/bathrobe.The African Queen
This is based on three of MangoSims Sets (and one of my painting meshes, the original artwork is 'Senegalese Woman' by Carla Nickerson which I slightly tweaked I apologise in advance for making this a bit complicated for you - I have been told that people don't like to go outside Sims Resource to get meshes but I do link them very carefully - so maybe you can forgive me this little 'foible'?!?! I do hope so, as I adore MangoSims meshes - and I personally really want to keep recolouring them here at The Sims Resource | ![]() |
Macho Men
*Last pics added* Next on my submissions schedule is some male heads. I'm trying to get a couple of heads in each skintone -- light, medium, and dark. I'll be adding some preview pics as I get them completed.

Oma's House
Now normally I do relatively modern recolours but in case you haven't noticed Cashcraft does some really lovely vintage meshes. I have decided to not only embrace my inner antiquer but also pay homage to all the lovely grandmothers (Oma is a dutch name for grandmother) out there.

Nursery FINALLY Released
Well, now that I'm back to playing the Sims2 regularly again, naturally the urge to resume making items for it has returned. This theme week seemed an appropriate time to finish off and release the Bentform Nursey Set. Sorry this took so long to appear!I never did manage to make a high chair I was happy with, so for now the set is missing that particular item. Perhaps once I figure out how to make one properly I'll clean up some of the other unreleased odds and ends of Items I've experimented with in the past, and release a second pack of "bonus items".
Enjoy!
Am I back?
Well, yes in the creating, but not necessarily in the carping on and on (you'll be glad to know)...I'm squeezing out a few new creations now with a new run on the Industrial Age series coming in June, but my available time will mean that I'm not about in forums. I would LOVE to be back (because I like nothing better than a good old moan as you well know by now), but Real Life keeps me away from venting my wrath here.
Therefore, if you send me personal messages, it might take me a few days before I am able to reply. I WILL reply, so just be aware that I've not turned into some nasty ignore-you person (how on earth could I ignore personal messages when they are such rich opportunities to make bitter complaints and swell my ever-expanding ego even more?).
Hope you love the new stuff waiting to eagerly soil your beautiful Sims neighbourhoods. Speak to you soon!
Party Time!
It's Party Time in more ways than one - as of today I am officially a Featured Artist here at TSR! I'm incredibly flattered to have been invited to join the existing group of extremely talented artists and will do my very best to live up to the title. Thanks to everyone who has downloaded my skins over the last year and for all the lovely comments and messages I have received. These have really helped to keep me motivated! My first offering as a F.A. is a set of toddler party dresses for the Nursery Time Theme Week. I hope you like them.Moving on from TSR...
Although I love TSR and everything that it has offered me, I have felt compelled in the last couple of weeks to branch out on my own. For the last few days I have been putting together a brand new sims site which will hopefully open within the next two weeks. I will also be looking for a couple of other people to help with site content, etc. If you are interested, please PM me here at TSR. Thanks everyone for making my experience here at TSR a great learning experience.MooMoo Family
I wanted to thank MTS2 site for my recent MooMoo award so I made a MooMoo Family set, my first body meshes, lol! The set is going to be published at TSR as well, you can see it on the calendar already :). It includes the cow mascot outfits for the whole family and a bonus plush toy. I included that toy to the current FA theme, it gets published tomorrow (May 18), while the rest of the set comes out later.
Playable Toy
I have been realy busy lately trying to make a playable toy and it looks like its working! It ads fun like a regular toy and the toddler stops when its needs is wery low
Featured at BinesSimsReview
My new lights made it straight into being featured at BinesSimsReview! very flattering! lol!
Hope you enjoy the Pole Furniture Bamboo style recolors of Shannanigan's meshes. Also, the Spring Bears Grow-up Set.
Tuliyet Farm
This is my current project and should be uploaded in a day or 2. I am still tweaking a few area in landscaping and it looks like I will have to submit it unfurnished. This is a large house (medium lot) and already weighs in at 2+MB. But I think those of you who are into this style probably already have a large selection of custom furniture and decorations to deck this house out!
My work at ts2creations.com
After accepting Neptunesuzys generous offer to uploading to her cool site a few weeks ago my first set has now been published: Contempo Park Lights with 1, 2 and 3 globes, each of them in 3 different heights. Im so excited! :D My work at ts2creations.com will be exclusively available for download there for 6 weeks and thereafter be co-published at TSR. Enjoy!
Recolors in grey and white also included:
Nose to the Grindstone!
Well after an extra-long vacation, and a lot of therapy and healing, I've got back to my desk and keyboard. Thank you so much again to everyone who has wished me a speedy recovery! On holiday we visited a number of medieval castles 'in depth', and by a lovely serendipity I've had a couple of requests to start castle-building, so I will.
But I felt it was time to try to create some architectural features in Simsworld, so I've been working on some raised gable-ends (with stone coping) and some gable pediments. A couple of buildings will be ready for publishing in a day or two (I'm a keen tester, so it takes days to test a new building and I always try to max the environment scores for each room!!!)

New moulding!
I am still perfecting this Rococo frame, I want to narrow down the sides and make them softer. These walls and floors are for your feminine side of decorating. To be published May 27th. Let me know what you think. judi
Vintage Victorian Part III
Whew! Part III of my Vintage Victorian Bedroom set is just about complete. It's been a labor of love and I can't wait to release the set. While it's being beta tested here are a few screenies, single four poster bed, and canopy, loveseat, and dressing gown (decorative).
