Babies!
Trying to sike myself up to get in the Baby and child mood,for this months Theme.Still I haven't created much for the lil one's maybe I'll get inspired enough to create at least something for them before the week is out.Still more into Object recoloring at the moment,occasionally straying over to bodyshop to have a little dabble.I love recoloring, but still have absolutely no desire to start meshing,I enjoy other peoples meshes to much.

I'm back!
In case you've seen my banner display in the Featured Artist sections, you might be wondering if I'm back as an Active FA...and the answer is yes! Although I stepped down to pursue other artistic avenues, I found that I just couldn't stay away from Sim designing. I was extended the invitation to return to full active status and I accepted without hesitation. I love designing for the Sims more than I realized, and I'm happy to be back as a TSR Featured Artist. So I'll be updating more often, and you can be on the lookout for my skins and objects on the front page calendar. :)Metallic Halters

New tutorial - Replacing Default Clothing
I uploaded new tutorial that teaches you how to replace Maxis default clothes with your own custom texture. Currently it does not cover replacing bump map texture or replacing mesh, only the clothes texture. Why would you do that? One reason for example would be that random generated sims will have custom clothes by default.My minisite!

Submissions problem
*More pics added* There has been a glitch in the Sims1 submissions system, so the publishing of my creations has been a bit delayed. The Harley and Ferrari skins were supposed to be up today, but it looks like they won't be posted now until next week. So, this is now pushing my to-do list back one week. Because of this, I'm going to add a few more items into my random skins that I was going to submit this week, and submit them next week instead. I'll add some preview pics here as I get them completed.
OFB Match - Mission Nursery
I'm getting closer to having this super-set completed. here is the finished Nursery There will be 4 different texture/RC sets in all so if you don't like pink flowers don't worry. These objects also use the Maxis textures (pink texture shown in previous image)and any recolors you may have.:) Set consists of the following new meshes: Crib, bedskirt, scarf canopy, window scarf, change table, painting and useable decor shelf.
I am now working on a matching toddler room which will inclue the highchair, toddler bed, toy box and more, followed by a toy set.
All will be released this coming week for the Nursery theme.
Forest Folk Project Finished!
Yep, I am all finished with this series. The six houses have been tested, played, revamped, etc... they currently are in variest stages of approval with the first house to be published on May 13. Hopefully the other houses will be approved and published within a reasonable amount of time. I know since we have a theme week starting very soon ... there could be some delays ... :O) And just as a sidebar here ... each houses' lot does have room for a driveway. I have now submitted my second set of satin halter tops based on my Cocktail Hour dresses. These tops come in a range of pastel shades in the colours of the rainbow (with a bit of poetic license!) as follows: dusky rose, champagne, primrose, chartreuse, aquamarine, powder blue, lilac and lavender. I just thought I would let you all know what I am up to. Right now I am working on a set of cosmetic enhancements for men. I have created some new "lips" categorized under lipstick, and I am working on a set of facial hair. I am trying to come up with some unusual shapes for stubble, and short beards. I just submitted a new swimwear collection made up of rich birthstone hues. Its very colorful, and kind of retro-trendy. I worked very hard on the diamond version, to get just the right kind of "sparkle". Too bad it has to be faked. :pHeres a preview;

I've been a little bit absent for the last few days due to a few things going on in Real Life (said to add an air of mystery and make you wonder at what on earth could be SO great that it keeps Cyclonesue away from a computer). More New Sets
Hey all,I've been working on new skins again. Seems like I can't stay away from it, even when I'm working on other projects. I uploaded two new sets this morning. One is a Mix and Match Summer Set for women, and the other is a formal gown set of recolors of one of Grizzelda's meshes. I also have two teen sets almost ready to go. One for the guys and one for the gals. Keep watch on the calendar for the publish dates.

More for OFB
Made a couple of mostly harmless hacks for OFB. They are default replacements but still considered hacks, posted them at MTS2. OFB flowers shadow fix replaces dark shadows under OFB crafted flower bouquets with better looking light shadow. OFB nanny outfit replacement will change default nanny clothes to new elder clothes that come with that expansion pack.Forest Folk Project
I am currently working on a large project, a series of 6 houses which price ranges run from $20,000-$80, 000. These are simple houses but have much charm and will be suitable for 'elfin' like creatures as well as your 'human' simmies. I am in the testing-phase right now, checking for bugs and making sure the houses are playable. This is a little sample of the most expensive house which is called 'Bain House', 'Bain' meaning 'beautiful' in the elfin language of Sindarin.
Black & White
This evening I've created several sets of satin halter tops based on my Cocktail Hour dresses. The first set is called Black & White and I've submitted it first because it comprises the least number of items which meant it was the quickest one to work up! The tops use a standard Maxis mesh. Three more sets are in the pipeline and should be appearing over the next week.My objects and OFB
I'm just going to leave a little note here about OFB expansion and my objects. Since I have OFB installed I mark all my objects that they requires OFB to work. This expansion made big changes to the game and not many objects cloned with this installed works without the expansion.I find it way to time consuming to test everything in a base game only and keep track of what works and not. Objects I do not mark are objects that I'm sure works with the base game.
I have gotten some comments about things that do work without the OFB and that is great :) so if you do not have it you could still try if the objects works anyway.
When testing OFB objects in the base game I have never had any real issues, the only thing that has happened to me is that the object simply does not show up in the catalog or that it shows up but can't be placed, so I don't think there is any risk trying OFB objects in the base game. :)
Baby Nursery
here is a quick preview of my almost copleted Nursery meshes.
I decided to have these pieces match the OFB Mission Furniture.
So far, completed pieces inculde: Highchair (animated tray), Crib )animated rail), Bedskirt, Scarf Canopy and Changetable. A few more pieces to come, and then on to the toddler room which will have a toybox, toddler bed and toys. :) I am also planning on a child's bedroom with new dresser, canopy, bedskirt and more.
Its Bunny Time
For the May theme week, for the nusery, some wallpapers and flooring. These aren't tileable with each other, except for the matching Companion paper. I hope you like them, they took a long time to make right.

IF YOU ARE HAVING DIFFICULTIES WITH THE "WROGHTWEILER" IRON GATES THAT WERE UPLOADED HERE LAST WEEK (Like you can't see your original gate and there is only 1 color available)...THEN DO THE FOLLOWING IN ORDER: 1). BEFORE you RE-DOWNLOAD these new ones: In your "DOWNLOADS" folder ONLY!!!...Delete all of the "WroughtWeiler" Iron Gates (made by me - maylynn55) in these 14 colors: Smoke, Taupe, Brown, Khaki, Olive, Jade, Teal, Turquoise, Denim, Navy, Violet, Plum, Burgundy & Wine **AND ONLY THESE ONES** 2). **DO NOT DELETE THE GATE FROM WITHIN YOUR GAME!!!** 3). ONLY DELETE THE CUSTOM MADE GATES THAT WERE MADE BY ME AND ONLY DO THIS IN YOUR DOWNLOADS FOLDER!!! YOUR DOWNLOADS FOLDER IS ON YOUR "C" DRIVE & CAN BE FOUND WITH WINDOWS EXPLORER in a place similar to: C:\-Documents and Settings\-Owner\-My Documents\-EA Games\-The Sims 2\-Downloads 4). Barrette hair and a bow
Replying to a comment left for toddlers barrette hair, yes, I am making barrette hair with bangs for girls as well :). Dr Pixel made similar one before but the bangs are different plus my version is going to be fully animated. So I decided to add girls version after all. Girls mesh and recolors will be separate downloads, this way people can skip them completely if they only want toddlers hair. Another addition to the same set - a large bow (accessory) designed to fit girls and toddlers barrette hair. I plan to make several recolors of the bow, should make a nice addition to the hair :)
Euro Stairs *Recolorable*
I am about to complete my next stair set: Recolorable Euro Stairs without the underneath and matching fences with additional spindles to narrow those huge gaps of the OFB fences. To be published May 10th.

Vintage Victorian Bedroom Part II - Decor, is scheduled for publication on May 8th. Vintage Victorian Bedroom Part II includes, a canopy for the four poster bed, a blanket chest/coffeetable, victrola/stereo (fully animated), hatbox, ottoman, pitcher with bowl, without the doily and a few recolors.What's up next?
*Adding pics* Next on my submission schedule is a few random skins that are inspired by some photos of celebs, as well as by one of my favorite clothing sites Rampage.com. As always, I'll be adding pics as I complete these. Looking ahead(no pun intended), I'll be working on some male heads and some houses, both furnished and unfurnished, for the following week.
Are those WroughtWeiler Gates acting wacky in your game????
Is anyone having problems with the WroughtWeiler Iron Gates that I uploaded here on TSR? When I downloaded them for my daughter, the only one that showed up in her game was the Wine colored one (the first one I downloaded) which unfortunately REPLACED the original black gate! I deleted all of the WroughtWeiler Iron Gates colors in her "Downloads" folder (C:Documents and SettingsOwnerMy DocumentsEA GamesThe Sims 2Downloads) and like magic...the original black & rusty gate reappeared!!!I am working on this problem and will upload the REVISED and working correctly version this week! I am making this mystery my top priority!!

Storybook Stairs *Recolorable*
I have just completed my Storybook stairs. The stairs come without the underneath, are recolorable like any other object and do not require an expansion pack. Stair mesh 2 comes with a shorter bottom step without the black swirl allowing for a proper line-up on split-level stairs. The fence has a square post top for a smooth look when combining them with the stairs. Any expansion pack will do to get these to work. Matching window/ door recolors for my white stairs are available by Cyclonesue and for my light and dark wood stairs by Windkeeper.

I'm back!! Sorry for haven't update this blog for long! :P I just back from Tokyo for about a week. I had a great time with my best friend Ellen there; we visited Tokyo Disney, a well-known spa and the famous Ginza. The only thing made me feel bad was I couldn't see my son for 8 days! It's not a bad thing because I knew it now that how much my son needs me and I will never leave my son alone any more! In the past few days, I just stick with my son like kangaroo mammy and baby! Then, I started to work on a new Sims 2 set, five�items of it are done, I will complete the set in a few days, Besides, thanks you guys for commending my creations, you'll never know how much your comments means to me! Work in progress - barrette hair for toddlers
I'm making this hair for the upcoming theme week, barrette hair converted for toddlers. I added different bangs though, I love bangs, lol! The hair is also animated, it will bend nicely most of the time, it moves slightly as well but not much.
Sims vs Reality
I have a friend who says that the Sims is a voodoo game, lol. I laugh at him everytime he says it, but can't help but agree. It's just so weird how things happen in the game that resemble real life, and even spookier how things will happen in the game that haven't yet happened in real life--but end UP happening!I love putting people that I know into the game (ex boyfriends, especially--although I've caught a bit of a backlash from people because of that. Some may view it as pathetic, but I believe "pathetic" would be telling me how I can play my sims, and who I can make into a sim).
Oddly enough, I never finish my games. I think the furthest I got was seeing myself get married to an ex of mine, and having 2 children by him, and that was that. I never got to see them grow up, or have children of their own. Something always seems to happen to my game before I can get to that point.
And there's just this strong addiction I have to making Harry Potter characters into sims.
