So Happy Wednesday Simmers! I have been trying to upload stuff and keep getting them rejected based on Screenshots. LOL
Since i am smart like *dumptruck* I tried several times to re- submit.. take some new screenshots.. ( scratching head) then... an epiphany... go on Help forums.. do some research... to find out TSR has a new versino and new submission requirements.
Aha! it has been a WHILE since I uploaded stuff ( April 2009) - i thought I was doing it right! i wasnt.
So I am downloading Adobe photoshop Elements as I write this so i can do as TSR has asked * grumble grumble * LOL.
As well .. I got my new pc.. installed Sims3 ... dont like Sims3 ( probably because i am so used to Sims2 and Maxis always has the original content items so horrid!! <shudder> ) LOL. But I have both Sims2 and Sims 3 on the new pc and eventually I will get the TSR Workshop downloaded in order to create for Sim3 as well ( cuz all the cool kids are playing Sims3 now?). By the time i re -learns recoloring for both games.. Sims4 will be out . Ha ha.
I am determined to get these things uploaded. Boy .. this is sure alot of work. As it was re-coloring is alot of work.. finding textures, recoloring objects, organizing pics and files and if doing sets.. putting everything together.. then taking pretty pics - uploading stuff.. UGH.
okay enough of my whining... happy simming.

I am having a bit of trouble with that something new at the moment... did not think it wil be this complicated, but I will still get it done and uploaded as soon as possible...
I have worked out that currently there wil be two large open spaces in the house... that wont look good, any ideas are welcome :) :) Pool room won't work though :/
I am also starting with a very important exam... but I will upload that something special ASAP

How I feel as I start to try out Sims3 (as a Sims2 enthusiast)
I really enjoyed the BoolProp cheat in sims 2. It gave me perfect control to role play every family quickly enough to give them memories (back when they werent annoying notification spams) and grow characters story lines. I could do alien pregnancies, add people to my family that were part of the story, have people die special ways, etc.
I miss that cheat.
University studies...
...take a lot of time. Well, I've also played Simcity 4 (hence my latest building is a forge), and started a calligraphy hobby (I have already [too] big plans...). The first exams are next week so I have to read for those too... At the moment, I have no idea how well those will go... Being me, I tend to have too many projects at once, so I haven't build anything for my Sims 2 Baroque neighborhood, and I have an incomplete drawing with me all the time waiting for free time and a moment of artistic inspiration.
So concluding: probability for new Sims 2 buildings from me is very small...
And if you haven't noticed yet, I happen to like these ellipses... dot dot dot...

Back at Square ONE in recoloring & creating
So I received my new Sims2 game and it has been a slow start LOL. I hadnt played the game in 3 yrs so i spent the last little bit searching for sites besides TSR for custom content ( cuz Sims2 isnt any fun without CUSTOM CONTENT! LOL) and was playing the game.
I started recoloring and creating a couple of hours.. geesh i feel like a newbie amatuer all over again! its been so long that I have to re-learn everything.
So I have indeed had a couple of successful recolors that i am uploading today. They include:
- 3 houses for Nightlife... one a larger home, 2 starter homes. All complete with working NL driveways and garages
- one wall paper
- one recolor of the NL Maxis cheapo Hatchbak ( ack! the maxi colors are rude !!)
- one bedding
- and some other various recolors that I am not really happy with so i most likely am NOT going to upload them afterall.
To top it off I am buying a better pc today.. one with better graphics and more hardrive etc and am thinking of getting Sims3 also. ( been wanting to try it for 3-4 yrs now)
i still plan on creating for Sim 2 ( as i have NO IDEA on how to create for Sims3 at this point! is there a Sims3 type of SimPE?? )
So any fans of my work.. please look for new uploads in the next couple of days. With this new computer I will have to transfer files from this one to the new one.. sims sites and applications for creating. UGH. I was just getting started too... more time lost!

So...I am not all that new to this site. But I did just decide to get a Account for fun. But the big news that I have, is would be, I am trying to create an world for The Sims 3. I am still thinking of what kind of world it should be, ie: Vacation, Party City, City, Asian Theme, Greek Theme, ect. I know that I want it to be a City of some kind. With different sections to the city, making it larger than others. But I am not sure of how to start. Some questions I have been asking my self is...
Do I want it to be lush or desert? I know that I want it to be lush, just because I am used to the different feels, I can give the place. I can make it feel like a valley, forest, jungle, beach front, small town in the woods, ect. There are a lot of them. But for desert, there is make a place like, Lunar Lakes, Lucky Palms, Egypt, or a city, or a place with ruins.
Some more questions are:
- How large of a world?
- What feel, theme, and style should I have it?
- What should I start with?
- How much time do I want to spend on the world? (That is more of a persional question.)
- How many lots should I have, and not to many that crash my computer? (That happened to me a few times before.)
- What kind of objects should I use?
- Should it be sunny all the time, or should it be cloudy?
These are all questions that I do have, if anyone feels like helping out and giving there input, don't be shy. I am a shy person, so I do know what it is like. And I will send a new post out when I have more questions, or when I decide what to do with the world.

Missing in Action + Clothing issue
So sorry everyone for my long hiatus from creating sims. In actualy fact, i haven't stopped making sims.. i just quit uploading them for awhile. For some reason I've had what I call SIM's BLOCK, which is actually the equivalent of writer's block. Started on 14 sims.. ended up with 5 incomplete sims.. trashed 2 of those and now I'm working on the remaining 3. Look out for some new sims this week. Will be uploading this week for sure! They're almost done.. just abit more tweaking.
One more thing though. I noticed comments in regards to my choice of sims clothing. Just to clarify though.. i don't actually put in much effort into picking clothing for my sims. I focus mainly on the sims themselves. Sometimes a particular piece of clothing i see on TSR inspires me to create a sim and thus i use that item of clothing for my sim. Other wise, i mostly use basic clothes in CAS. Also, i only toggle ONE set of clothing. This could be either the daily wear or the formal wear. I leave the others random. This is cuz I only need one set of clothing to take pictures for the look.
I take it that whomever downloads my sim will want to put their individual stamp of character on him or her and will thus want to customise his or her wardrobe. Why them should i make my downloads bigger when some people may not want the clothes that come with the sim?
I do hope you understand why i haven't added in pretty clothing to my sims. It's to make it more friendly to those who want to save space and also gives people the option to download their own outfits for the sim.
I'd also like to thank everyone for all the wonderful comments you leave on my sims. It really makes creating sims fun and lovely when i see that all of you guys like the sims. Also, it gives me a good ideas as to what looks people may like so that i may take it into consideration for the next sims i make.

Laptop issues + taking a break for a week or 2
Hello everyone.
Over the past few weeks i have experienced a Laptop issue whereby, i keep receiving a "Not Responding" message all the time. Now matter what i have done, i am still getting this message. :(
This has been very frustrating and yesterday i took the decision to buy a new Laptop, which is now on its way to me. I have had my laptop for over 3 years and only in May got a new hard drive fitted but never mind.
I am also going on holiday for a week from tomorrow, so i will be absent from TSR :(
Fingers crossed i can get my new laptop up and running as soon as i am back from my holiday and i have reinstalled all the necessary items required for me to carry on making my walls, floors and lots for you. Plus i can carry on giving my feedback to all my fellow TSR Creators. :)
So its bye for now and i'll be back soon :)

I joined this site quite a while ago but havent real paid much attention to it, I only used it for downloading stuff .. I decided today that I'll do a bit more on here than just the usual downloading of content .. and started browsing ...
Im to a point now as to where I can almost say .. Im Hooked .. ALMOST
Ive updated my profile, added a prof pic and also a banner (not the best, but should do for now) .. though I find it quite difficult as none of the above mentioned is shown when I click on my profile .. STRANGE
Ive also noticed that some banners on certain artist's profile pages are bigger than others .. is this because the bigger banners are only allowed on "Featured Artist's" pages? or subscriber artists?
Ah well, guess I have 2 figure everything out as this site also comes with pages and pages full instructions on how to do what, which involves a lot of reading and understanding, now for someone as impatient as me, thats gona b a problem .. so Im stuck with finding everything out myself ...
Lucky for me, time is on my side .. ive got loads of it and tend to make the best of it ...

New set in progress....
Finally making some time to do some more meshes, my latest work in progress is a reclaimed wood themed bedroom set. The bed and the chair are done (the hardest parts hopefully!) so just the extra stuff to do - a big shabby-framed floor standing mirror that will "lean" against a wall, a patchwork quilt for the bed and a rag-rug. Maybe some other items if anything occurs to me in the meantime!

They're coming back! For those who loved the Noodle Dogs and their larger cousings, the Great Noodle Dogs from Sims 2, you'll be happy to read that they are coming back for the Sims 3. (About time, huh?) The Noodles are my current work in progress, but should be ready for upload within the next day or so. Watch this space to be one of the first ones to take this designer breed on a walk to the park. :)

Kate set fixed - I hope!
Apparently there have been some problems with one of my recent Kate items - the red Alexander McQueen outfit she wore at the Jubilee Regatta. Apparently the mesh was showing up in the game but not the skin. I have now re-made this outfit from scratch and the whole set will be re-published tomorrow. Please let me know if you experience any further problems with this set.
My First Blog!
So this is my FIRST blog! I'm uber excited! Although as a Simmer I'm a newbie, I had been watching my Aunt play the Sim's since the first one came out, so it's been years. Sadly my very very first Sim that my Aunt helped me create all those years ago, Sabrina, died of depression (Starvation) and that was pretty tramatic, almost a year ago I recived some Christmas money and brought my very own Sim's 3 game! Since then I've been waiting for some more money to go out and splurge on the expansion packs. I really want Showtime, and Supernatural. Throughout the nine months I've had the Sim's, I've had to uninstall twice, and I've made several full families and even more single Sim's I've loved many but this Sim above, Namiko Lui, is my favorite! She's going to be my adventurous sim, and currently she is working to become a Rockstar. I hope when I get show time I'll be able to have her become a Singer, as that's my dream job as well. I don't know what to blog about other then this, I suppose I'll just be random and surprise everyone. . . I know i promised that next chapter of "Summer feelings" is going to be out this weekend, but i just couldn't finish it in time. My computer started being really slow, and my time for playing Sims is very limited, since I'm going into one of the hardest high schools, and i have to study A LOT.
Once again, I'm sorry. I'm going to try to upload the next chapter someday next week.

I Love My Life!
SO, I'm super happy, because my birthday is in like 2 weeks, and guess what?? Omg............... U guessed wrong! well maybe u guessed right! I'm getting my OWN computer with a CD drive so OMG i can spend so much MORE time on sims and everything! My sister told me she ordered it off ebay for ONLY 65$!! :) It's a dell i think, but IM STILL HAPPY CAUSE I LIKE DELLS. :DD I can even take it to school!!!!! Lol, but i wont! Unless u plan on stealing it >_<. Also, it wasnt even a BID auction it was a BUY IT NOW ON EBAY!!. The only thing wrong is it doesn't come with the AC adapter but i already have one withh the computer im using now!! :) I'm super excited for my birthday! It gonna be the best one ever!!!! I can already tell!!! I might even be having a PARTY! WOW IM SO EXCITED FOR THIs! I love staying up till 3 playing sims and even better it being my birthday EVEN BETTER spending it with my friends AND family!!!! :) <3 For XMAS, im getting Sims 3 Late Night and Sims 3 Katy Perry Sweet Treats!! OMG. I <3 My Life and the people in it!! It may not always be perfect, but to me its everything i need!<3 No one ALWAYS have perfect lifes, something always may get messed up and you may get knocked down, but its easy to get right back up and know that everything happens for a reason! <3 Don't let others knock u down and tell u how to live! u have the right to choose ur own path!!! so do it!!! U can do anything, u can be anything only if u TRY. :) Don't waste ur life waiting! <3

First House Ever Built
I am working on my first house. It's intended to be a starter home but it's far from done and a bit pricey. So far, without any of the outdoors done it is up to an $85,000 home. Features include fully equipped kitchen with dining set, living area with fireplace as well as tv and stereo, bathroom, nursery with tons of toys, and master bedroom equipped with a desk. I don't know how to do the list of custom content.
I have to redo the porch and this may either slightly raise or lower the price, I just put the content into game so I don't know yet.
Ideas not yet implemented:
Pool or hot tub or both
Garden
Gazebo equipped with outdoor bar
Dog area
Kid's play area maybe
Garage
I would like to say that I am not very good at this kind of stuff. I have never attempted a house before and this is my first time playing sims. I don't know how to list for custome content I used, I don't know if the house will download for you exactly as it is going to be saved in game, and I'm not very pc literate. Honestly I just build save then hope to upload. I don't know if there is more to it than that or not. If you try my house, please give me feedback. I want to know if it works fully or not. If I can figure out how to fix anything wrong or if it works well then I may try my hand at other building projects.
Happy October and Halloween
This is my favorite time of year. The new Supernatural EP is so fun. Even more so because as a child one of my grandmothers was into fortunes and seances and stuff like that. So naturally Halloween became my favorite holiday. To celebrate, I have placed some new Halloween themed patterns in my studio on the Sims 3.com webpage. Look for leniece, my other nom de plume. Oh yes, my grandmother spoke french, which most of the grandchildren learned.
On a personal note, recent surgery has allowed me to walk again. Yeah and Hurray. I am now able to get around better and even leave the house for adventures! Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 am being taken to a wild game dinner. They serve axis, blackbuck, venison (deer), wild boar (hogs), catfish, buffalo, bison, wild birds like squab (look it up, it is very good).
Am so lucky and feel so much better. I have volunteered to do face painting for a charity on Halloween. They do trunk or treat. Place cars in the parking lot and give out goodies from there. There is a trunk decorating contest too. It makes it so much safer for the kids, and adults. This year there is even going to be a petting zoo. Which does not count my doggie, who loves to give kisses and get scratched behind the ears.

I started when the sims 3 first came out with my coloured birthday cakes then made some houses. but I'm back and have been reading tutorials on trawling the forums to see what peeps like you want and many have complained about the lack of good frames.. so I have made a few.

Random Legacy - Intro
So I've decided with the Sims 3 to check out a new legacy challange with my sister and create a blog about each generation. We decided to test out the Random Legacy (link to the rules and the app to download below). I plan to start after October 13,2012.
With this legacy challange, you first have to download the application that generates the types of challenges for each generation. You can do this as you go, but my sister and I decided to roll for all 10 of the generations before starting the game so we had a list to follow.
