House Building

Ever since I started playing The Sims in 2002, I enjoys building my own houses and decorate it. I have ever want to post it on Mod The Sims or The Sims Resource. But I have no courage as I am afraid that it will ruin the image of the site.

Hence, I could not remember the site of the additional objects I download for my Sims. I guess that is a bad idea not to be able to credit those who design the objects. Maybe I will do it in the near future when I can build a better house.

Hey, everybody. I just have a problem. I want to add a story in TSR. But, the problem always same : *I dont remember* image too large.  Help me please! :(

TS2 Set Download links not working

Might you encounter a Download link that gives an error, or isn't working PLEASE click the "Report this download" link so the TSR staff can fix it. There is a system problem with the Zipfiles of the Sims 2 sets and i can't fix them myself, it has to be done by the TSR staff, so please report it!!!

Slowing Down

Hey fans! I'm sure you've noitced in the past couple of weeks it's been slow moving for me, not a lot of submissions. I apologize for this but real life has been so busy (real life, WHAT?!). Uploading craze :D

So I have been creating and scrapping lots for a while now...

I just uploaded a starter home and will be uploading 1 more lot a little later on... I've worked very hard the past few months, so I could only create in my spare time...

:) Also... I started a legacy a few days ago... at this moment I am at generation 2, busy building their manshion... oh I am so glad I got hold of a genie lamp, wish for fortune twice and you have enough to fill a manshion with basic needs...

If I get tired of my family, I will upload their manshion aswell... but that won't happen too soon...

How do you request things?

I want to request a few things, and I don't know how to request the things I would like to request. There are a few things, but I don't know if I have to got to someone and ask, or do I just put my request in a blog, because I am not too sure how this works. I had an account before this, but I did not request anything.

There are a few clothes and some objects, and foods I would like to request, so please if anyone would do this for me, it would be much appricitated. I love playing the Sims, and cannot get The Sims 3, but I have most of The Sims 2 Expansion Packs. I would love to have The Sims 3 because I can get more things, and recolor things myself.

So please if anyone knows can you just drop me a comment here, and tell me what I am surposed to do. Thank you to anyone who helps.

Lipsticks' Update!

Hi there!

I had to update files for two of my lipsticks: Springtime Lipstick and Pearl Touch Lipstick. There was a white/light border around the lips so I corrected face overlays and speculars for these items. Now they look like they should.

IMPORTANT: Old lipsticks must be UNINSTALLED BEFORE installing the updated versions.

Gothic Valentineset the Dollchair updated

Hi all!

When I saw the Dollchair in Supernatural i was shocked. It looks totaly shiny and unrealistic.

I have fixed the Textures of the chair to fit it in Supernatural Living.

I think the Set is good to use in Supernatural so have fun with the new chair.

Sorry I haven't upload anything on these days!

I had no electricity at my house on tuesday :'c

And yesterday, I tried to open the game but some error didn't let me. I thought I fixed it! But now when I get into the game it crashes D:, so for now I can't test any creation in my game T.T

It's so saaad! Maybe I'll have to reinstall everything u.u. But well, I will fix it soon as possible!! :D

Where do you do it?

I've been asked a few times now which world I use for my screenshots, and even if I would be willing to upload it.  However, you may well already have it!  I use Bridgeport (which came with the Late Night expansion pack).  

I had to butcher a few EA properties (mostly parks and stuff) but chose a spot with a neat view over the bay and with plenty of high-rise apartments to litter the view, and then all my 'Bridge Lane Railway' properties have been built along the same road (I have another of those ready for upload, by the way).

How Much do I love this site.

To Download or to play:

I don't know if anybody ever reads this stuff, however I had such a rush of enthusiasm over this site again after being without a pc for too long, I just had to give back some love.

It's so nice to have the ability to download more great items from the expansive range and now the daily freebies as well, not to mention the unlocking of the vault. Such a perfect combination for all sims enthusiasts who also can't bare to part with dollars to pay for full access. It's one of the reasons I am so impressed with this site.

As I search the site I am encouraged to play the game which encourages me to want more stuff, and so the wheel turns. However I just want to say what a wonderful addition to my game TSR makes and would gladly recommend it to anybody wanting to expand their field of play.

So on that note back I must go to the game.

DARN IT.

Looks like my next lot will have to wait until next month. My laptop's fan needs to be replaced and, well, apparently, the best I can hope for is for it to be done next month. So sorry to keep you guys waiting even more, but I promise more spectacular lots once I finally have my laptop's fan fixed! In the meantime, Happy Simming and God Bless! :)

Thought I'd post a little joke about my latest set:-    Due to the fact that I have been sitting through most of my day testing the sofas settings, I realised I got the seat flat in the process!  lol  It could be possible for some of you to have cushions in your game which you could place at the corners ... it would look great!

OK, so now im thinking that all i do is make one or two chapters of a story then im done. And im correct! I know i shouldn't do that because some people actually LIKE the storyies that i start and get mad when i dont finish them. I get mad too so your not the only one :P. And I have an idea for a story AGAIN! so i hope i finish this one! But i have reasons 4 not finishing the others, the first one was just horrible. And the second one my computer had to be wiped out because it had a virus. So i couldnt finish that story, but this story might keep going or it might not so dont get mad cuz im the one who is ANGRY!!! lol, jk...

Confusion

I recently just got TSR Workshop. Eager to start making custom content, I'm struck with confusion...how exactly does it work? The Sims 3 Resource Wiki doesn't seem to help me! Does anybody know how it exactly works? 

I'm Baaaack......and shocked to see i have 2.2 Million downloads . WOW!

After 4 years of Sims ( 3 yrs playing ~ 1 year less a day creating) I retired April 2009 ...Hope you find something you may want to download amongst my creations and thanks in advance for downloading.

After this 3 yr hiatus in retirement I am BACK! I have started creating again and hopefully soon will have some worthy creations to share with the fans of my creations. Honestly  i retired due to many family issues, personal emotional issues, a car accident and work stress stuff. Pretty much my marriage and kids were suffering due to obsessive Simming  and I went through a time of emotional breakdown as well and got a little flakey to say the least .I sold my Sims games, my awesome desktop ( a quad processor! omg!)

 Back at that time  I had began trying to learn 3D object meshing.. I am hoping this time around to finally master meshing and finally conquer clothing!! So many ideas in my head STILL after all these yrs. I just gotta get them out! LOL So I have bought the Sims 2 again ( this time with Nightlife so i can build houses with REAL garages) and found SimPE online and went hunting for some of my fave custom content Sims websites for meshes and I am excited and nervous to create again.

I also want to say THANK YOU!!!!!! to all the awesome Simmers out there that have downloaded 2.2 plus million of my creations! In 2010 when i thought i was coming out of retirement but I didnt -as  life got even MORE stressful with a couple of rebellious teenagers at that time after the death of my two daughters bio father- at that time I had 1.5 million downloads. Just two short yrs later with no new creations since 2009 I have almost another million downloads added on. I just stand in awe! Kisses to all my fans ! you rock and you make it all worthwhile! 

TS2 to TS3

 Since am kind of less busy, I am ripping apart my Sims 2 game trying to see which objects to convert to TS3. If you have one let me know and I will try best best to convert it

I have almost finished my new set. It's a set of two rugs and each of these rugs has two color styles included with it. I'm going to release it soon.

Something Wicked This Way Comes--cuz I got the SN EP!!!!

Okay, so here's the plan...

First off, let me say thank you all SO much for reading and commenting (and liking :) ) my A Familiar Face story! I didn't know you all would like it so much!

Now on to this idea I had...

So I'm in the middle of writing two stories, both of them I really like, but I'm not sure which one I want to put out first once I'm finished with the writing.

So what I think I'm going to do is just shoot chapter one for each story, upload them at the same time, and have you guys comment on my blogs or in my guestbook for which story you want to see me keep going with for now. Then, once I finish one story, I'll just upload the next one.


I really like these stories, (one more than the other but hey, what can you do? lol) and I'm having fun writing them. My new rule is finishing the story before I shoot, as I've said before, so depending on which story we go with, one might take longer to show up on the Stories Exchange than than the other. But that's only because I was writing the first one (I think I'm gonna go with Starlight, Starbright as the title) way longer, and I only start writing the second one (I'm leaning towards The Academy) because I got Supernatural lol

So I'll be shooting and uploading today since I have the next two days off and I'm really anxious to make these characters lol so be ready to vote!

The Daily Featured Creations Lottery on Facebook FAQ

Many of you play the lottery every day but I bet you've always wondered how it works...

1. What is the lottery?

The Featured Creations lottery is a showcase for six of our subscriber items that have been published on that particular day. (If we didn't publish six subscriber items on that day, we will use popular items from the past so that we always have six.)

2. How do I enter?

Visit our Facebook page ( http://www.facebook.com/TheSimsResource ) and locate that day's lottery post. Look through the six images and click 'Like' on the items you would want to win.

3. What's the prize?

For non-subscribers, the prize is a free subscriber download of their choice.

4. Is the lottery only for non-subscribers?

No! Subscribers can play too, however, instead of winning the download of their choice, they can pick an item from the EA Store worth 25 Simpoints.

5. How do you pick the winners?

First, we look at how many people 'liked' the lottery post overall and that will determine how many winners we have for that day. (For example, 40 likes is 4 winners, 50 likes is 5 winners, 60 likes is 6 winners...)

Second, we make a list of the names of all the people who entered by copying the names of everyone who 'liked' the six images. (This usually means we have a list of 120 names, on average.)

Third, we use a random number generator from the people at MathGoodies ( http://www.mathgoodies.com/calculators/random_no_custom.html ). We enter 0 and the number of names on the list and get a random number. Then we scroll down the list and match that random number to a name. (If we need to choose five winners, we do it five times.)

6. Can you win more than once?

Yes! It is entirely random.

7. Why aren't there any Sims 2 items in the lottery?

 The lottery is for promoting our new subscriber downloads, and none of our Sims 2 downloads are subscriber - they are all free.

8. Where do you get the screenshots you use to announce the winners?

The screenshots we use are from the Featured Screenshots, in the Studio section of the website ( http://www.thesimsresource.com/screenshots/browse/featured/1 ).

Yep, My story (So it was you) will soob be finished, I'm still not sure if I'll make it 20 chapters or less, but I'm super sure it will finish soon. :(

I'm done uploading Chapter 10 (finally) didnt have much time lately because I'm busy with school. I am finding time to finish the captions. Do tune in coz' thing will get more exciting!
