Hmm...

Hay guys!!

So that graveyard did not work out so well...

But I do have a little surprise in store :D

I have been working on something extra special... maybe you storytellers would like to use it!!
But I will be keeping that a surprise untill it is 100% finished ;)

In other news... I have a small starter lot in the que ready to be uploaded.  I started off with one sim and placed her on an empty lot to make shure I don't go over the budget.  It worked out well and my sim and her adopted kitty seem to enjoy it :)

I will upload this lot... and my little surprise a little later in the month :) please bear with me a little while longer! I need to fully test these lots and make shure no sim gets stuck as I only want to upload the best to you fellow simmers

new computer, new items

hey everyone, sorry i havent posted any creations in awhile, i spilled water all over my old laptop and had to get a new one..so now im starting from scratch with a lot of my projects..but there will be more to come!

To celebrate the recent success of Team GB in the London Olympics, I have created a set of Team GB swimwear and athletics kit for The Sims 2. I loved Stella McCartney's designs based on the Union Jack flag.

Okay, enough with the evil deeds now. I guess you already noticed that... I'm back! Hm, I was expecting something more... big.

So, let me say that I'm full of ideas for Hurricane - and other stories too - and although the desire of starting a new story is huge, I have to finish first my current one (and I still have a looooooong way to go).

For those out there following Hurricane, Chapter 6 is going to take a while since I've been all those 15 days without Sims - and let me tell you, I was going insane.

Aaaaaand... I guess that's all! (oh, have you noticed that I didn't said anyways  a single time, for once? Hurray for me!)

A Silver Star on my minisite

It's such an amazing compliment to become a SA and i'm honored and proud, because it says that what i've done is liked and appreciated. Isn't that the best compliment a creator can get, i think so :D So thank you very much for downloading the things i've made. Happy Simming :D

UNDER CONSTRUCTION (upcoming lots. pictures not included)

My construction neighborhood is full of under construction projects right now. Currently in good progress are the following:

• The A-Lister Series: Serentiy
• The MiniMod Series: White
• Unnamed Modern Lake House
• Unnamed Beach House

Waiting to be started (but the designs have been finished) are the following:

• The Jala - Ultra-Modern, HUGE home requested by TSR member jalacbsagusd
• The MiniMod Series: Lakeside Pad

Looks like I will be busy for quite a while. "Serenity" and the unnamed lake house are both big homes. The Jala is EVEN bigger. Hope you guys will like them when I finally upload them! :)

I am making the pics now so it should come soon, ok. I am getting the cc as i go so don't worry it is coming you just gotta wait. I'm having to stay up late just to get the cc and to make pics. Oh and tommoro I'm may or may not get anything done tommoro cuz I'm going somewhere with my friends!!! I havn't seen them in forever!!! Can't wait till school starts so i can c all of them!!! Oh and one of friends said she wants to help so if she does anything to my stories just know it may be her doing it, like if you see a random pic of her or something. Tehe! I am slowly getting myself back on track again, I am happy to say. I have just put in a new house (Currently waiting for approval) and have a few picture packs almost ready to go. I had also created a sim that I was going to put up on here but I changed my mind about that. So I put her up on the Sims 3 site instead. Nothing against TSR (far from it) but I'm not sure that it is a sim that would have passed the criteria that they have, and I was not going to change one single thing on her because I love her just the way that she is. :) Anyway, it's good to be creating again.

My next creation to be uploaded will be a graveyard...

Yes yes... I know graveyards can be dark and spooky, but I am thinking about making it a beautifull place where your sims can visit their passed loved ones... and maybe even enjoy their company!

It will take some time to upload as I am busy with my studies and barely have time to write this blogpost... but I had to share the good news *giggles*

Rejal Doors

Finally, the Rejal doors are here! After years of messing around with doors, I managed now to get them completely bug free (I hope). These will be published Wednesday, August 15.

I  now own Sims 3 and tons of the EP's and a few of the SP's. Now it's a matter of figureing out how to create things for it, since most of my creations have been for Sims 2 I don't have the fadiest idea how to convert them over for Sims 3.

Plus most of the tutorials out there don't really explain it and most are you have to download this program and then this program oh and then these 7 other programs and learn them all with-in an hour before you can even make one wallpaper. Seriously all I want to do is use the wallpapers I already have for sims 2 in the sims 3 without masking, without cloneing, without all the BS. Plus I don't want to clone someone elses hard work to use as my own, I feel that's like stealing someones creativity and claiming it as my own. It's bad enough this happens in the art world today (I know, it happens to me all the time), why should I do it in the Sims world? 

Come on a simple tutorial on how to switch a sims 2 wallpaper over to sims 3 should be out there somewhere and I have yet to find it (been searching for a while now and Im about to go insane just looking for one.) And if you ask, Oh eM Ge! you just committed the carnal sin of bothering someone (who thought showing boobs in a creation chatroom was more important) who might have told this to someone years ago and now they have to repeat themselves again, but you interupted his boob fest and were called a b****. Being chastized in public is such a wonderful feeling. (not) But allas this has happened more then once to me in the past few days of asking this simple question. Having nasty words thrown at you and them saying things such as figure it out on your own, or go google it (which that doesn't help cause I already did that multable times and still nothing, thats why I was asking in said chatroom for creators) or and I loved this one, "if you can't figure out a tutorial, then your not smart enough to create a wallpaper in Sims 3, so stop asking and go google it." That was the best one I had heard/read all day.

Screenshot Backdrop made Base Game compatible

I have fixed the screenshot backdrop to remove the Pets EP dependency which was caused by a buggy Workshop version at the time when this item was created. You can download the updated version here when you had problems installing it.

Happy Renovation Weekend

SIMS 3 IS BACK!!!

Got my sims 3 back so now i can do the stories!!! That last story i had all the pics before it broke but i wanted more pics right before it broke sooo thats y i managed to get that. So it's technicaly not the full version but ima stick to it cuz it sooooo long! And i also get pose player so now my picks should be better. And thank you to all the people who helped me with how to download it!!! Oh and since i had to redownload sims 3, all the characters are going to look a little different but hopefully similer to the originals. But the toddlers don't realy need to look the same since they will age soon in the chapters. Well just wanted to inform u on my sims working again. It might take a while for me to download all the cc again so its gonna take a while till i get to write again.

And if u want you can give me links to poses that you think i could use! XD Just want you to know that i already downloaded all of the poses on the mods site so dont bother unless theres some i missed. 

Cottage Garden

Hi everyone! :) This is my last project. I am working on a cottage house and trying to make a simple garden for it. I created a stone bench, a stone fence and a birdcage for now.  Still need to fix but I wanted to share it with you and take your mind. :)

In comments to some my works I can read some questions like this: "Where did you get this outfit?" or "Where did you get the hair?". 

And sometimes in such comments there is now even one word about my work, only question. It's pity.

To answer all such questions at once I want to say I never specially download hairs or clothes. I got them with a lot number of models for my works. So, only their creators can answer this question.

colors and patterns

I continue to work on patterns. Not so easy to make those channels stick there. May have something to do with masks perhaps. At the moment I have a picture of a cream marble and brown wood interior from Lebanon in mind. I'm trying to make my pattern look just as gorgeous on the wall as the stone in the original, and have channels on it. I'm taking the look first and then I can work on the channels. My 2 first attempts tile wrong, and look dirty. I started with 3 row's of stone, now I'm on 4. Hope that will work. 

Then I have been working a lot with adobe's kuler color program to make adjusted and harmonious color scheme's. I like color so sometimes it just get out of hand. It's hard to find the right combinations myself. I have after all several thousand potential combinations. I have no problem seeing the math in color patterns, so why not leave it to a machine. After all they were made for math. When I paste in a HEX color it always selects the same set of combinations though, so I can see it's limitations. 

I have lots of plans coming up all the time. I'm working a lot with lines, airy rooms and perspective at the moment. Don't know where my world goes. I got it to work, but it constantly lose against my other projects. 

My floating house is up today, and tomorrow the new project unfurnished will be up. Now I'm off to furnish it. More info on my blog: www.volvenomtullarask.com.
