Mini Break on AFF.

I'm gonna take a little break on uploading A Familiar Face. (just a little one! promise!)
I want to actually finish writing the story, as of right now I'm writing chapters and uploading them as I go, I want the story to actually end at some point lol.

I think I'm as far as chapter 7 or 8 writing-wise. I want the story to be between 10 and 15 chapters, with maybe an Epilouge. 

Hope you guys won't miss me and the gang too much, we'll be back shortly, I have alot of ideas.

And as for Once Upon A Summer, I do plan to finish it, but I'm at a deadlock as to where I want to story to go. I'm brainstorming, but as of right now, AFF is on the front burner.

I wanna thank everyone that reads the stories, and takes time to rate and comment on them; I really appreciate it, I've never uploaded a story for any Sims games, and the fact that this story is doing well makes me smile.
And of course, the CC creators are amazing. They make my story look exactly the way I want, love them!!

My Sims 3 Textures

Slowly i've also started uploading my Sims 3 Textures and i want to share some info about them with you. All the textures i make are colorable and 100% seamless. Every texture can be converted to a package file with Delphi's Multi installer and combined in merged packs. I will never ever upload CAP textures because they have only caused me trouble and i get allergic reactions by now 

I use filters and programs to create textures that are "hopefully" original. And i hope you like them as much as i do making them. Happy Simming :)

Yes, my new set is a cleaning-up thing.  I can't believe it.  Naturally, all that shiny stuff offers equally grotty variations that are more in my style.  So what's coming?

• A working sliding curtain for cubicles (and separate fixed-open version - shown)
• Stackable, recolorable lockers
• Communal inter-connecting showers (for bold Sims)
• Single shower for cubicle use (shy Sims!)
• Sports bag - allows change of clothes when placed on the floor
• Cubicle 1-tile wall-mounted bench
• 3-tile full bench both with and without clothes pegs
• Deco objects for pegs and benches

I need your opinion!

I need your help!

I'm looking for some feedback on what I can be working on next, and I'd like your opinion on what you'd like to see from me.  I've been a little uninspired and could use some motivation to help my Muse get going again.  As of right now, I seem to only be making remakes of what I did with Sims 2, and if that's what people would like me to continue to do, I will. However, if I should be spending more time trying to improve my object making skills, which are extremely rusty right now, I'd like to know.  Should I work on more patterns? Is that something you'd like to see from me? Perhaps a new style of wall or floor, I seem to be doing okay with those. So I ask you dear readers, what would you like to see me come up with next? I need some inspiration, and my own resources are dried up.  So please, if there's something you'd like to see me do, or would like to see if I can try, please, let me know.  Thank you!

Mirabello Renovation Challenge

I am still lurking here in the background.. I have been asked, who is/what is Timeline Sims? Well, SimonettaC is my personal nickname/Id for me personally and all my regular creations are associated with that name.

Timeline Sims is technically still me, but representing something else.

I created the name TimelineSims for any creation that is along the theme of anything Historical. For example, my Roman stuff will be associated with that name. It's basically a name that I have chosen as a name for my own website and domain name. The website is in progress and has not been published for all to see. I have started it but I will not be publishing until all the links and pages have been set up properly. I did want SimonettaC but some of the Sim sites that i have registered to, SimonettaC has been taken. I did not want to be known as SimonettaC on some sites and then having to pick a different name on another site. I guess I am not the only SimonettaC in the world..Lol!!

So that is why I came up with the name TimelineSims. For the record, I had that name before the Facebook 'Timeline' came out, so I hadn't come up with that name because of that. I mean, that would have been pretty lame anyway, right?

I liked Timeline as that way I can create from any Historical time period and just mark it on the timeline from my website. That is the idea I had in mind :)

So, now I have answered that, let's get straight on to what I am currently doing. I am making a lot of changes in the background, though they are not all visable yet. I am deleting old accounts, updating accounts and creating new ones. I aim to have all my creations up to date for the current patch, that includes all of my patterns. I will also be updating preview shots and basically making a overhaul of everything associated with my Simming antics :D

Upcoming The Sims 3 expansion packs

So...I just read that The Sims 3 will see two brand new expansion packs coming our way this fall and winter. Specifically, they are none other than Supernatural as well as Seasons EP. OH EM GEE.

The Sims 3: Supernatural is set for release on the 4th September in NA and 6th September in EU.

This is the one that I'm most looking forward to. It's set for release in 13th November 2012. That's sooooooo soon! Fingers crossed that it'll be worth the wait, nonetheless!

While I find the title of the expansion packs to be gravely lacking in creativity, I'm no doubt really excited for it! Especially with the new laptop that my brother got which has a far more powerful set of specs, I truly cannot wait to see how the features of the expansion packs will be played out.

In addition, with these two expansion packs, I feel that all hope may not be lost for EA. :')

So, Today I was playing on Sims and I came across a stray kitten in the yard. So I, took it in to the house to be apart of the family. But, I couldn't change its name and its name was stray kitten. Does anyone know how to change its name?

New Wall Patterns on Sims 3 Exchange

Hello, after several months. Happy all the holidays that were missed. There are even more new patterns that I have made and are available on the main Sims 3 website exchange under the profile of leniece, my other aka. Have made some TSR request patterns and some new wall patterns. Am using the new wall patterns to make some fairy and other homes for the new upcoming EP Supernatural. Check it Out!

Have had new surgery during my absence and should be able to do some assisted walking soon. Yeah. This wheelchair is going into retirement soon, I hope. Meanwhile, learning to go up and down stairs and steps again has been pretty funny. Reminds me of Igor from frankenstein movie. My wonderful doggie has been following me everywhere, trying to figure out why I do not have wheels anymore and why he is not riding in my lap.

So, for all those simmers who are having PEPS over the new Supernatural EP, please see my studio on Sims 3 and happy playing. Thank you.

Okay, scratch what I said before.

When I posted in June, I felt I owed it to people who come to my page to mention that I was no longer active, so I did. It had been six months since I'd last created anything - far too long, and so I handed in my dog-tags to TSR and said I was done. They said: "Whew!" I said: "Call me when Sims 4 happens."  I heard guffaws of laughter behind the closed (hastily bolted) doors where I should instead have heard: "Of COURSE we will!"!

And now here I am creating again!  The creative bug has bitten.  I have 9 pieces of the set finished - a sneak-peek of which is shown here.  

As if the game wasn't already full of useless pap!

FAQ

1Q: How do I download?

1A: You'll need a file extraction program, such as 7zip or winRAR. Then you'll need to extract the file(s) to your Downloads folder inside your The Sims 2 folder. If you don't have a Downloads folder there, you'll need to create one. For a lot of computers, right click and select new then select folder. You'll need to rename this folder Downloads.

2Q: Where can I get your model(s)?

2A: My models aren't available for download.

3Q: Where can I find the hair?

3A: I get a lot from TSR, Newseasims, Peggyzone, Rosesims, and Butterflysims. I also do retextures. If you would like a particular hair retextured, you can ask, and I'll see what I can do.

4Q: Why doesn't the item show up in game?

4A: You didn't download the mesh or you didn't extract the file properly(refer to FAQ 1).

5Q: Where can I find the nails in the game?

5A: They can be found under head accessories, where the eyeglasses are.

6Q: Why doesn't the Peggyzone mesh link work?

6A: Peggyzone may not be compatible with some browsers. Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox seem to work best.

     I test all my items in game thoroughly before I upload them. I also plan on creating for The Sims 3, when I can afford a better computer.
