Excited to be back...
So excited to be back on the site here, I used to build and upload to the page and I stopped beuilding as much and now I'm missing the old hobby... I use sims to chill out and relax after a hard days work and have been building my little sims homes for quite some time... I used to upload some houses under my Mom's account "Kattmc3" and now its my turn to have my own page and such... I like to build smaller homes for the people who like me only have a few sims and Like to keep a close eye on what there doing...
I like to build in a modern contemporary style, its how I keep my real home so why shouldn't my sims live like I do... I am off to build and hope to have one ready for upload tomorrow evening...

I don't download a house or anything today. No time. I wan't to play sims! Not wait an hour before I can play!
It's sad that not all the houses of yesterday were installed right. I can't play with the very big hotel... I'm going to look what I can do about that. Maybe you have the same problem to. If you have allready solved it: Please tell me how! If not: I'm going to tell you how.
At the moment I was going to write this blog I found out I can't start with goodmorning. Yes, it's already afternoon. I was busy with homework and stuff. I really hate it, becuase this was goig to be a sims day! And now I'm not even finished with my homework! I'm goig to play sims in a minute. But first I will finish this blog.
I'm playing with a house of yesterday already. It's Braxton Heights by Illiana. It's a beautiful house for a big family! It has got 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, a big kitchen and many space. Private area: at the ground there is the master bedroom and a bathroom. At the first floor there's a kitchen, dining room, living room and a bathroom. At the second floor there's are two bedrooms with a double bed, a childroom with two single beds and there's a simple bathroom. All the bathrooms has got a shower, a bathtub, a toilet and a sink. Public Area: it's only one floor: there's a gym, a tv-room, a laundry etc.
I want a big family so this is great! :)

one of them is school .... yeah now i'm going to be in Twelfth grade and i've got alot of tests...
i promised myself ... until i buy the game i won't download it for free or something. that's why i didn't make new sims such a long time. this month i'm going to work and earn some money and hopefully i'll make some new sims. Male and Female :)
i know alot of people that liked my sims and i want to keep going ... so please keep checking if i posted for something new. my career as Sim Maker isnt over yet :D LOL XD

I'm dutch, so I don't know english verry well. But I'm trying! :)
I really like TSR, because it's free! (most of all)
My first blog has to be published a while ago, but I didn't knew how to. I only knew how to save it and I thought it would publish him self. But I know now! :)
I'm not suppost to be building homes and other things and post it here. (don't even know how!) Maybe later, but I don't promise.
I'm going to download many homes, I really like building homes myself but I'm not as good at it as you all are. So I'm verry happy that there are many people think: "lets make a beautiful home and post it!" Thanks to those people. I like sims more.
I have a question for you: can you download city's also?
maybe I will find it myself, but if I don't: please help me and thanks!

Royal Library Update!
In my previous post, I stated that The Royal Library set was finished. Well, I went on to create an additional 10 pieces for the set. Now the set includes 24 meshes plus a collection folder.
Finally, I've created a library collection worthy of the name "Royal!" LOL!

How I Found Out About The Sims 2.
The Sims 2 was a game played in my house by my cousin and mother. We only had the base game, no expansion packs. My cousin told my mother about all the families in each town/neighborhood. When my mom saw one of the base game families, she was flipping out and saying she didn't want to play them and she asked my cousin if she had to keep them in the game. My cousin explained to my mother that you could create a whole different set of sims and that you don't have to play the base game sims. My mom decided she would take matters into her own hands and went to Veronaville to create a new family. I was almost four watching her side by side playing the game each day. My cousin asked her what family are you going to make and my mom said our family. She created me, my brother, dad, and of course, her. It was a good family, as she was just a beginner. Soon after a few months, she didn't need my cousins help anymore. She always went to Mod The Sims or to here for all her downloads. When I had just started kidnegarten, I remember seeing her sit on the computer playing the game. I had a computer in my room that she used whenever my dad was on the other one. She used to play my game. I had created myself, it looked nothing like me, and I got her a job in the medical career. I didn't know the boolProp cheat, but my mom knew only two cheats at the time and I believe she still does. My sim had died in a fire, but by accident, I am not a sim murderer. My mom told me to not save my game and everything would be fine. I did what I was told and went to bed. Little did I know, she used motherlode and gave me 50,000 simoleans. She stayed up all night fixing my house that I made and fixed my sim's appearance. She then got my sim a job in the business career and got me two promotions. She made my sim get three best friends and another promotion and then saved the game and quit. When I got out of school the next day, I did my homework and went straight to the computer and saw what my mom had done for me. I thanked her a million times and gave her a big hug. I was like maybe five at the time, but I started loving the sims when I was four. Ever since now, I have always been playing the sims 2 and telling all my friends about it. I almost have all the expansion packs except for one. I will always love the sims, and this is how I found out about The Sims 2.

Well, I'd like to design some sims clothes. Sometimes I'm just dying for a certain piece and I scower the internet for it without success. I pride my sims on having an A class designer wardrobe! Unfortunately I only have Mac computers. I don't know what to do! I know I could make great clothes and hairstyles, I have plenty of ideas. Help?
Unsociable Wretch!
I had a few people ask me the other day why I'm not as social on the site as I used to be, and how come I don't answer comments anymore? Well, the answer is simple... When I was just a part-time cashier I had scads more time to create, socialize, and answer comments. Now that I am a divorced single mom of a 7 year old and work 12 hour shifts it's a little tougher to find that kind of extra time. So I had to decide, do I want to create less, or socialize more? That's all there is to it. :) I wish I did have more time in a day! I miss chatting it up with people! Life isn't always so simple though. :( The Sims game is my wind down...my break time. I need what little time I have to myself to spend in creating stuff. I do hope everyone understands, and if things slow down enough I would love to go back to socializing and answering all of your wonderful comments...I do read them, and they DO inspire me to keep creating and building! Thank you all so very much!!!!

I very much enjoyed the recent Diamond Jubilee celebrations - especially Kate's gorgeous outfit choices in festive red, white and blue (well, almost!). My latest set includes two of her Jubilee outfits, along with two others worn during recent appearances. I have also re-created two more of her cute clutch bags.
This set includes the following outfits:
1. The elegant pale pink wool crepe Alice coat dress by Emilia Wickstead that Kate wore to the Sovereigns' Luncheon on 18th May 2012 and again on 29th May 2012 to attend a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. On the former occasion, Kate carried a gorgeous pink satin Prada clutch bag, which I have also re-created. On the latter occasion, Kate carried the L. K. Bennett Natalie clutch, which I have previously re-created for The Sims here. The dress requires mesh 150211 by BBKZ. The bags require my favourite NataliS clutch bag mesh.
2. The striking red wool crepe Alexander McQueen dress that Kate wore to attend the Diamond Jubilee River Pageant on 3rd June 2012. Worn with L. K. Bennett nude Sledge pumps. This dress also requires mesh 150211 by BBKZ. A version of this dress has also been seen on Tulisa and on Kim Kardashian, but I definitely think Kate wore it best. The hat shown in the preview is available here.
3. The gorgeous champagne lace Alexander McQueen dress with pink satin waistband that Kate wore to take part in the National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral, Carriage Procession and Buckingham Palace balcony appearance on 5th June 2012. Again accessorised with L. K. Bennett nude Sledge pumps and pink Prada clutch. This outfit requires mesh 007 by ulkrhsn.
4. The blue tweed Missoni coat that Kate wore to visit Fortnum & Mason's in London on 1st March 2012 and again during a visit to Nottingham on 13th June 2012 as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Tour. On the latter occasion, she accessorised the coat with L. K. Bennett navy blue high heeled Art pumps and the very cute Jaeger Kate clutch bag (I guess she couldn't resist!). This outfit uses Elena's Cocktail mesh. The bag requires the clutch bag mesh by NataliS.
I would really like to re-create some of Kate's gorgeous hats for The Sims, but they are intricate 3D creations and would require custom meshes. As I have said before, unfortunately I am not a mesher. Now there's a challenge for someone...

My Sim-Making Process
Just so start off, I DO NOT COPY sims from other artists.
I do not actually look at any sims when browsing for sim related cc. In fact, i do not know of any circumstance where I have actually searched for sims yet alone downloaded them.
Please do not accuse me of stealing the works of other artists. I respect their rights and personally i respect myself too much to resort to stealing work that is not mine and passing it off as my art. Yes, I consider making sims an art so obviously i take it very seriously.
Here is my sim making process:
- I take a random sim from CAS, usually the one that appears immediately when you enter CAS, and the first thing I'll do is change his/ her skintone. I try to vary my choices so that my sims won't have a generic look to them. Also, it gives me the chance to play around more since different skintones have different highlights and shadows.
- Next I put the sims' hair up into a bun that does not obstruct any part of the face. This will give me a somewhat neat "canvas" to toggle with. I also remove all makeup and put on my chosen contacts (which i also try to vary from sim to sim). I also choose the eyebrow that I prefer (i try not to use the ones I have used before).
- Next comes alot of toggling with the sliders. ALOT ALOT of toggling.
- After I'm satisfied with the look, I begin choosing the type of makeup I want for her and applying it. This may change how certain features look so I may have to go back to toggle with the features sliders again later. I usually do not put the opacity of the makeup at 100% unless it's for lipstick.
- I go back to toggle with the features' sliders if necessary and then it's on to hair and hair color. I choose the hair style to fit my sim's faceshape and features. I usually have a few hairstyles downloaded on standby and if those don't fit her, I go out searching for more. Hair color is also chosen to fit the sim I'm making. I may have a hair color in mind but more often than not I change it to suit the sim and not the other way around.
- For clothes and accessories, I usually keep my sim free from accessories with the exception of extra lashes as i don't want the sim file to be too huge (one less thing to download ^^). Clothing-wise, I prefer full outfits also because of me being lazy and wanting one less item to download.
- I bring my sim into game mode and start taking pictures. I always check to see if the pictures turn out good and if there is something that doesn't look good I go back to CAS and toggle somemore before going back to game mode to double check.
- After everything is settled and finalised, I go to CAS again and remove all CC not from TSR before exporting the sim. The file is then uploaded into a vanilla game to check for errors in file before being submitted to TSR.

Captain's Log: Starlight Shores
Well, the only household that I play in this town is the Trainer-Collins family which consists of Julie Trainer (Level 10 Singer) and Trey Collins (Level 9 Actor) and their dogs, Chloe and Duke. Julie and Trey just got engaged yesterday (que high pitched squeals) and I'm trying to find the perfect dress for Julie. I already have her hair picked out but still need the PERFECT dress! Let's see...what else? They're gonna honeymoon in Paris! Then when they get back home...BABIES! LOTS OF BABIES! Lol Bye for now!

The time has come...
If you hadn't noticed already by the tumbleweed blowing across my minisite, I haven't been terribly active for rather a long time, and so I've decided to step down for now. I'm no longer creating for The Sims and I'm no longer playing any active role in staff and admin here either, so for now I'm saying goodbye - but in the words of some big bossy guy, "I'll be back" - maybe. If there's a future Sims game that isn't locked down into fairyland pretty mode, you can bet your butt on it! Until then, I likely won't be here to answer personal messages and such, so should you ever encounter any rogue creations, simply 'report' them and a staff member will contact me. I just want to thank every downloader who ever downloaded something I made and put it in their game. There is no greater honour for a creator than that. And of course a BIG thank you to TSR!My magazine!!

I now Have SCHOOL
I have enjoyed my Summer with the Sims 3 and TSR, but, alas, I have to "leave" for I now have school.
I cannot promise to be active(online everyday). I cannot promise to upload homes every week either.
If I ever upload any, they might be unfurnished or partly furnished, since the laptop I will be holding on for the moment is my HP mini, where the sims 3 does run somewhat slow. I will try to make them magnificent, so that you may find it like somewhat "heaven" to furnish.
Screenshots might not be so excellent. I used to use my dad's laptop for playing (since it's faster). But now, I think I can't use it frequently.
I'm 15, I'm a builder, yet I have school, sorry if I won't get to fully furnish,
I'll do the best I can, I promise!
