Go Forth- Mesh and Multiply
I've been playing the Sims for some time now. The obsession started with the very first Sims game and developed into a habit that still confounds me.
Back in the days, there were Koi fish in the pond and a garden even Walter would be jealous of (Bi-Lo fans anyone?). Never even thought about making items for the game at that point, then came along Sims 2.
For some reason, I didn't get into Sims 2 as much- it seemed easier to make things, but the obsession, at least for a time was over.
Now- Sims 3.
That old feeling of needing to "paint", "recolor", "mesh" and "multiply" are all back running through my veins like some kind of bad addiction and it is making me do things like learn. I have never in my life spent so much time awake wondering "now, how do I....", or "if I could just...." and "wouldn't that bar look great....” Really. There should be a twelve-step program for Sim-mers and a Rehab facility in the game to detox from the Sims world.
My Sim would be in a room, on the bed rolled up in a ball shaking uncontrollably. The pictures in her "thought cloud" would be of computers with X's through them and burning books, along with the words MESH and MULTIPLIER in flames or at the very least, frightening fonts.
Sigh- if I could only learn.
I am trying and others are trying to teach me. It’s going to be a long, hard road, but in those famous Sim Words-
"Go Forth- Mesh and Multiply"

ON ANOTHER NOTE.
I didn't realize how powerful Blender3D really was... I started using it on Sunday and since it has become my favorite thing. The game engine is fun to play with too. It's hard to believe something that great is 100% free... And since, I have decided to just dispose of my Milkshape hair designs (I'm a perfectionist). Overall, I find Milkshape to be awesome for quick meshing clothes and bone assignments. But I have problems UV mapping with it. To time consuming.
I saw the TSR University post earlier today, too. Man, I wish I was 18. But I just turned 17 a month ago, I've got a while. Maybe it'll be a yearly thing. I think I'd greatly benefit from learning from other Sims meshers. Looks like I've got to learn it all myself. :) I think I can do it!

Ok yall so I got 3 starter lots done for yall, All i got to do is find some time to resize the photos LOL I know its been a lil while since i uploaded anything, but i promise I haven't run off! With the loss of SSg Jamie and trying to figure out what's best school wise and doctor wise for my 5 year old son (ADHD, disruptive behavior, possible Aspergers/Autism) I've been overwhelmed lol. So I'm gonna try and get atleast 1 of them submitted today so ya'll can enjoy my humble creations once again :) big hugs ttys

Showmaster #2 is a bigger project than Showmaster #1, I am hoping to make the space more family friendly since Showmaster #1 has only one bedroom and bathroom

secondly I'll be taking a little hiatus-my computer keeps crashing so I must re-install it all which might take a while... I have two outfits that I'm going to upload & then I'll have nothing for week or so-I don't really know how long it take, because I'm overloaded with homework & will have exams soon.

Delay & Upcoming Sims
So if you've seen my last blog post (which i doubt :P) you'll know that I've been in the process of making a Rose Bukater Sim inspired by Titanic. Anyhow, it's been delayed due to me forgetting when i got her eyebrows from. Haha. Again. Haiz.. need to be more organized.
In the meantime, I'll be uploading a new guy! Haven't had a redhead guy so far so I thought I'd give it a go. Watch out for him. Also, I've strayed slightly from my previous "natural" styles of makeup my previous girl sims have in this new upcoming female sim. She's more made up so hopefully you guys can tell me how you like her. Might influence future looks of future sims that i make.

April 22nd, Vegas Dining Collection
The Vegas Dining Collection is a room set inspired by a recent visit to my cousin's home in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was inspired by her elegant and stylish home to create a similar set of dining room furnishings. While my Sims 3 dining room is not an exact replica, I hope it reflects the warmth, charm, and richness of her beautiful formal dining room.
The Vegas collection features a dining table and sideboard (desk) with re-colorable glass insets, a cushioned dining chair, soft ambient candle-lighting (wall, tabletop and ceiling lights), painting with 4-variants, and 2 decorative vases.
The Vegas dining collection is scheduled for publication on April 22, 2012. You can also download the collection folder for the Vegas Dining Collection here, at MediaFire.

TS2
I have reopened my TS2 game multiple times. I have started about a dozen different lots. I just can't get in to TS2 the way I used to anymore. :( It seems lifeless and drab now. I can't really landscape without using a ton of CC because I have to be sure the gardener can take care of everything. I can't pick and choose colors for things without CC, and many of the EA stuff doesn't match. Build items are limited, it takes forever to load between a residential lot and a community lot. *Sigh* I just don't feel it. Perhaps I will finish those lots one day, but my time is limited now and I really do have to pick and choose the better option for me. Right now that's TS3. I do hope you all understand. Thank you TS2ers for everything!!!! (((Hugs!)))

UGH!
While I was finishing the official Chapter 1, my laptop suddenly died! The worst part is that I was already plugging my charger and it was indicated that I still have 4% battery! After plugging in the charger I immediately pushed the power button, I had the sigh of relief when I saw my story living, I clicked on te sibmit button, then something unfortunate happened. My internet hasn't recovered from the sudden collapse of my laptop, yeah "Internet Connection Error," the whole page went blank! I was hoping that when I clicked the back button a miracle would happen, but nothing happened. T.T
The even worst part there is that I deleted the copy of the captions, my pure hardwork just went nowhere! T.T That's why I came down with the decision that I'll be having scheduled story submission. I'll submit most probably every weekend. Chapter 1? Probably I'll redo it this weekend or so or when I feel like it, I just cant do it now, I'm too sad and angry about it. But yeah, lesson learned: I'll never pull the charger off my laptop and always have a copy of the captions.

Dark Shadows and Fashion
You may be wondering what does Dark Shadows and fashion have in common. I am not refereing to the color of shadows, but the 1966 soap opera. I remember as a kid running home after school to watch it with my friends. Who doesn't like watching a soap opera about vampires, witches, ghosts and werewolves!
Recently my daughter and I have started watching the show together on Netflicks. We've watched the first 2 seasons which were in black and white. In the begining of season 3, they started to film the show in color! During the time we have been watching it, we commented on the fashions of that time. Many of the outfits they wore have been inspiring me to make them for the sims, especially for the elder sims. I noticed some of these styles being worn today. Well it's time to watch the next Dark Shadows episode. Let's see what I'll be inspired to create!
70's Vintage Jumpsuit for Female Elders
I received a request to make my 70's vintage jumpsuit for Young adults / Adults for elders. They wanted their sim to still be able to wear the jumpsuit after they became an elder. I had not thought to make it for elders. I had to make the mesh for the elders jumpsuit. It took me about a week to do it between work and school. I had some issues with the mesh, but I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I hope you all like it. It will be published April 19th.

JUST SHOOT ME! Put me out of my misery & get it over with!
My SIM life is OVER! I had this STUPID idea (it's STUPID in hindsight) to copy my files, pull out all my games, then reinstall them......well that was the idea anyway; I copied my folders AOK, & I pulled out most of my games without any problems, but then a couple games didn't want to uninstall, then 1 thing led to another and.....
NOW: I have lost ALL MY Sims, I've lost ALL my downloads some of which no-longer exist on the net and a couple items were TRULY "1 of a kind" items that were made as special prezzies to ME from friends who USED TO make TS2 content but have now moved on to TS3. So now instead of being able to upload lots again which was a good 90% of my doing all this in the 1st place, or at least being able to create walls/floors for people which was fun, OR even being able to just play for my own enjoyment......I'm sitting here with a stack of games that I can't get loaded back in......and now I'm quite literally DEPRESSED! Yeah that's right.....the sun is shining outside & it's even fairly warm......but about all I can do is TRY to not cry. WHY OH WHY?!?!?!? Why did I think uploading my stupid lots would be worth any of this? Why didn't I just go on making lots for ME? I WAS still having fun at least. I am soooo UPSET at this point.....I'm not even sure how I'll feel about the game. EVERYTHING IS LOST!!! Nobody HERE made showers that had invisable backsplashes.....the ONLY place I knew of that HAD is now GONE.....& wouldn't ya know it......I HAD their "back-less showers". I've lost MY Sims including some generation challenges where you have to see how many generations you can get 1 family through.....I had gone from Z to Y, X (that wasn't easy to come up with names for....but I had a baby naming book) W & had gotten them to the V names......UHG!
IF I could do it all over again.......I'd have just stopped @ the point that I still had the use of my Sims...... I thought maybe I could make a few people happy with being able to upload lots again.....now the ONLY 1 miserable is ME. :( SOMEBODY PLEASE SHOOT ME!!!
Posh Elec Gate *NEW*
Hi i've just uploaded a new Electric gate that ive made after reading comments about my elec security gate. I was agast that people would use it for the main gate to there house. Hence i put what i was working on to one side to make this giving a sence of style to your enterance. (that overlay tall gate from EA just disant look right) fully recolourable in 3 parts the control box, posts and gate frame and the filling rails (see pic) published 19th :)

I'm trying to upload my sim right now put there seems to be problems.. Gah.. let's try to work this out! In game, I'm really trying to break my new record for generations played! My current record is 6 and my try is at.. 2. I'll make it, let's just hope that EA doesn't soon release a new EP with a new neighborhood -_-

Confused!
I didn't log in for a while and came back to see that the entire site seems to have been turned upside down! I'm glad to know that I am not the only one that is boggled by the new set up.
I thought I had bookmarked some artists, but those seem to be missing! I guess there's no such thing as Kudos anymore.
I started my first serious CAW project and am building the houses and such for it. I have a few other ideas in progress, but a few things about the house have caused set backs not to mention jarring my Zen! LOL. One day at a time and I'll move things along.
No more Lies of a Golden heart!
Okay so I went and read my story and i realized I had a ton of mistakes! How emmbaressing. Well It was my first story but I can do way better! Infact I'm already starting a new story, hopefully people like it and it gets good ratings and comments. The lies of a Golden heart had a good story line but there were just too many mistakes and I was getting no ratings or comments. So I toke them off,sorry if you actually liked them lol.
Feel free to post some tips on my guest book or in a private message! Would really appreciate it. I've been busy with my online schooling lately so I don't know how soon my new story will come out. I want to take my time on my stories more.

Alas!
Alas! My story has been approved and I'm happy that it had a 5-star rating! I just can't fully express how happy I am, this really made my day. I had to go through a tough morning because there was a huge chance that I might not graduate from College! T.T But all is done and fixed! Thank God for this day! Seeing that my first attempt was a "good job" indeed was one of my day's highlight! I would like to thank each and everyone who made an effort to read my story, feedbacks would be totally appreciated! :D
Regarding the story, I'm currently working on it! (Literally now) I'll try my very best to finish this very soon, I'll be quite busy this coming days (Internship!) but yeah, I'll make time for this! I'll keep you guys posted every now and then so I'm off then! hearts! :*
Biting the bullet
OK so I'm 1 of those players who went ahead & got EVERY EP & SP that EA made for TS2. For quite some time now Mr. Humble (he came with Free Time) instead of "skin" over his face it's WHITE with what looks like a binary code.....also the guy who checks Sims in at the front desk in hotels has the same binary code.....this really RUINS pics of MY Sims signing in ya know? And Mr. Humble's face is just annoying the snot out of me. Soooo since I've got THAT issue + somehow I accidentally deleted or over-wrote a MAXIS light....& then I accedentally deleted a MAXIS wall while in Home-Crafter.....WUPSIE.....but I may as well just do a COMPLETE uninstall/reinstall. THIS is going to take......a WHILE. To give you an idea of how long; when I got all my TS2 games in their cases on my lap the top of the stack was to my chin......and I even put the stack on the floor & put my foot next to it so I'd have a "standing refference" or at least as close as you're going to get from ME. ;)
So I backed up ALL IMPORTANT folders; I've got some CC that is from sites that are no longer up & running A.K.A. gone forever except on mine & anyone else who still has this stuff, I've got some Sims that oddly enough.....I'm rather "attached to".
I so miss uploading lots. I still build mind you.....but only for ME. I uploaded my last lot & then shortly thereafter (so nobody needs to worry that anything will happen to THEIR game by downloading any of my lots) I must have deleted that MAXIS light OR I downloaded something that overwrote it.....so I did not continue to upload LOTS OR PETS so as to avoid doing anything to anyone's game......but I miss uploading lots. And I miss the "challenge" of making MAXIS "look good".
Sooo here goes nothing.........
{If anyone else needs to do this.....remember to back-up your downloads, neighborhoods (this saves your Sims) & if you're partial to any lots or Sims you've created then you'll want to back up your "Packaged Lots" & "Packaged Sims" folders & put them somewhere ELSE that they won't be effected. THEN when you've re-installed ALL your CD's you move your saved folders into the newly created EA folder & have them over-write & your game will be as it was before.)}
Today was a odd day!
So today I woke up around 10 AM. My mom woke me up. She wanted to get her hair cut. I said okay, I'm being nice because I am her daughter is supposed to do everything for will for my mom anyways her haircut came out really pretty and she asked me if I wanted to go to the party in-no, because I could not feel like it, depressed third away but when I get a job, maybe a little better. My cousin will get me a job that pays $18 an hour is can it be that face the ever happened then good now with my boyfriend in a apartment together. How cool is that!! Well anyways I'm tired of rambling. I'll see you in two weeks. Peace out.

Er… hello there! I know it’s been awhile since the last post, so that’s why I’m here to say that’s due to my laziness and not because I’m going to drop the story (that a ray falls into my head if that ever happens!).
For that matter, let me say that I’m already about two or three chapters ahead from the first and that the only thing that is left to do is to translate and put them into pictures. I have everything in my head, now I just have to put it into practice.
So, I guess that’s it. I apologize for the long wait and the lack of news, but as soon as this tiny little lazy bug is gone, I promise for every chocolate in the world (I’m so dead if I don’t keep this promise…) that I’m going to put my hands on work.
