Lot building is what I love to do!!
I want to let anyone with a lot idea know that I am open to suggestions if you want a lot built or a dedication Lot or you want to send me a picture of a house you want me to build by all means please let me know I am open to some new Ideas. I have not been putting lots out as fast as I would like to, but I am no longer at home all day like I used to be I'm working full time and that takes up a lot of my day. I try to work on new lots on the weekend, I have 2 that I am working on now but after that I am up for building a specialty lot for any one in my TSR family!! Waiting to be in the TSR spot light so you all can get to know more about me ...Love you all ...Now go Sim!!!

Back to building
Yes, I am back... anyone miss me LOL! So much has changed in my life in the last 6 months and more to come but I am tired of not being able to do what I enjoy doing and that is to build for Sims 3. I have really missed it and the TSR community of wonderful people. I hope to bring more fantasy cottages along with some surprises.. Really miss you all (Hugs)
Thanking The Artist
I need to Thank so many of you wonderful Artist for all your hard work. I am so ashamed, I was going thru my DL list looking for stuff, I am now DLing Sims 3 in my laptop, my desktop needs some help so I was trying to find some of my favs to DL again and was shocked and embarassed by how many Thank you's I haven't done. I thought I had been good about Thanking everyone, I give thanks even when I don't DL because of all the hard work you all put into each creation. I prided myself or at least I use to on not being perfect but for doing what I am suspose to do, but OMG I am so sorry. I am in the process of correcting this, it may take me a lil bit to get all of them done. The only excuse I have is I get excited and forget and sometimes i am tired and get stupid. Anyway there are no excuses so I'll own it and say I'm sorry. Thank you Thank you Thank you all for all your hard work. I do enjoy all my CC it makes the game, otherwise I think it would be boring. Everything now needs to be sims3pack files
I got my lot rejected because I use package files. The only reason for that is they are deletable. Sims3pack is a headache to get rid of. I think it's better both for the downloader and for me that we can control ourselves what we want to have in our game. I cleaned my files and told the downloader what needed to be downloaded and what they could skip. Now you have to download all crap in a lot.
Frankly I don't trust EA to be able to stick with one solution to that problem. They will mess it up in the next patch surely. Also Custard I use to clean the lots don't detect all the different CC in a lot, so even if I clean a lot, it won't clean everything out. I have used sims3pack in the past and package files, what's detected and what's not is all random.
I won't be using sims3pack again, so then I won't upload here anymore. I'm sorry about that, but that's how it's gonna be. I hope you enjoy what I have uploaded so far.

I have started making kids clothes for Sims 2 again. I forgot how much I enjoyed making garments for the Sims. LOL I hope you will enjoy what is coming up. -- hugs, Ceri
reinstalled files with old rig
I finally managed to clean out some old rigfix files I have in my game, so now I have tons of houses to upload. At least 2 houses now, don't know what I will do with the rest. I may still have some old rigfix files from lunasimslulamai, so I still may have some houses coming up later.

Starting Over
After a computer crash, finishing college, and starting a new job... I think I'm back!
Unfortunately the Reid Legacy is truly no more (sure, I only had 2 chapters and a 3rd one in the works, lol), but I still remember working on Tony's story, and I miss him. It. This.
I've started playing again, and maybe I'll start a new legacy story, I'm not sure yet!

My Sims....oh how I really L-O-V-E MY SIMS!!!
I have ben playing SIMS for a VERY loooong time, since about 2000 when they were still coming out with NEW Expansions for TheSims = TS1. I had a # of years of fun with that 1st generation especially since I had/have ALL the Expansions. I had enough fun with that generation of Sims that rather than tossing them out or selling them, the CD's still sit on a shelf by my computer (although they're not installed merely collecting dust on a shelf) just "in-case" circumstances such as my current PC blowing up & only having the $ to buy a cheap one with low specs. ;) I still miss those winter vacations & the Hollywood expantion though.
When TS2 came out I LIKED it. I liked the differences in how the game looks graphics wise, & how it plays. I LOVE that TS2 has genetics where a cute couple might actually have a 1/2 decent chance of having a "pretty" child (I have nothing against the "not so pretty people" of the world) & lets fact it...it's nice that like in REAL LIFE the Sims could have "a family look". I didn't feel "pushed" into going to TS2....I just liked it.
When TheSims3 came out everyone went nuts drooling til EA finally released it. EA made a LOT of changes to this 3rd generation of Sims....a LOT of CHANGES! Among these changes are the way Sims now LOOK. Although I have seen a few of the designing big wigs have created some "OK" looking Sims.....but among screenshots & even MOST preview pix for new CC (no PERSONAL offense is intended) I just don't really see PRETTY TS3 Sims. I do NOT like the way the sky, water, & lighting look. I'm also not too keen on the differneces in playing style either (a friend has TS3 & let me play on her PC 4 a while.....YUCK!).
Yes there are a lot of "fun" things to do & places to go...& I did like the ability to copy any testure so things can ALWAYS match/coordinate with the eyedropper tool....& yes it's nice the infants (about time MAXIS) are nolonger freezing with nothing but a diaper/nappy on them. But that's about IT.....& certainly NOT enough to make me want to switch.
When the mass majority of SIM-ers went to TS3 I & a few others who were unimpressed with TS3 or who's computers were just no where near capable of handeling TS3 waved you/them all a fond fairwell. I admit perhaps it was nieve to think that MY TS2 wouldn't change in any way. At 1st the only change was that most of the items being created were nolonger being made for TS2 but now TS3. I admit to drooling a time or 2 or 3 or 4 for what the TS3 SIMS got to wear/use in regards to custom content. But then some of the sites that USED TO have content for TS2 just went POOF & vanished OR converted to carrying TS3 items only, & many items that have been made in years past for TS2 are now harder & harder to find....IF you can still find them at all.
(I'm hoping I don't get "into TROUBLE" for this but I feel it needs saying) IF uploading TS3 content was what I wanted to do......I would have NO problems. I would have absolutely NO problems because I was uploading TS3 content. But I don't want to play TS3 therefore I'm not interested in creating for it, I DO like palying TS2 & it of course is the generation I enjoy creating for. The submissions area of TSR has been having "trouble".....not in the TS3 submissions area of course THAT area is just fine, TS2 submissions area on the other hand has been having "trouble" for WEEKS now. I didn't check on TS1 submissions area, but after several weeks of seeing a note in red in the TS2 submissions area AND having trouble uploading my walls I looked to see if it was the entire submissions that was having issues or JUST the TS2 submissions......wouldn't ya know it.....TS3 players will be happy to know none of your artists are experiencing technical difficulties.....ONLY the TS2 submitters are having a hard time submitting!
EA has an on-line store where you can buy exclusive items. I....DID HAVE....my sights set on the ADORABLE/AWESOME interaction infant objects that for what ever reason didn't make their way into the Apartment-Life EP. Would you know it.....EA no longer has TS2 items in their "EA store"! EA ONLY has TS3 items in their store. I'm glad I did not have any credits with them.....if I had spent $ only to be told TS3 items is all I could use them for I'd have been fit to be tied.
OFFICIALLY....I feel....PUSHED, unwanted, & insignificant! Pushed aside as a TS2 player & creator to make way for TS3, unwanted because EA doesn't even want my $ because I'm not using it for TS3 items, & insignificant as a TS2 creater HERE @ TSR because IF TS2 it's players & creaters were not concidered "insignificant" the problems with the TS2 submissions area would have had more time devoted to fix whatever is going on with it.
My Sims Midevil showed me that I would most likely grow tired of playing TS3 rather quickly as I did with Sims Midevil once I did most of the things in that game a couple times.....I don't want to play Sims Medevil because I don't like it's looks or gameplay (Sims Midevil & TS3 are VERY similar in these regards).....so "if you can't beat them join them" won't work for ME. MY choices then are; I can just play & create for MYSELF.....but MOST of the "fun" in creating is being able to share it/them, OR....I could just give up on Sims altogether & "shelf" the TS2 aswell & stick with playing games on Face-Book & Pogo. But I'd MUCH RATHER for there to be another option to where I & other TS2 players/creators can have some "tech-support" maybe not as soon as the TS3-ers get it but at least in a matter a few weeks not month+!
If those of you who still play/create with TS1 because you didn't like TS2 or your PC just couldn't handle the higher spec requirments.....if you felt as trampled on as I do now.....I'd like to extend my belated but heartfelt appologies! There are enough things in "REAL LIFE" to make us feel inferior or unwanted.....so it's extremely disheartening when one of the few joys/escapes from that "reality" starts to BREAK YOUR REAL HEART. </3
I've Got Troubles -- Accounts Hacked
Urgh, this has been a TERRIBLE start to the New Year for me! :( On New Years morning my computer got a registry error crash and I lost all my data (that was my fault though--I did something stupid, pfft!). Then my swollen hands and feet returned (it's going down a little now, so I walk with little pain -- don't ask how old I am to have such problems; you'll be just as baffled as I am!). And THEN, on the 17th, I woke up at around 6 to get the brat ready for school, checked my emails, and learned at at 3 or 4 that morning my Sims 3 account was HACKED!! Yes: HACKED! O.O Some complete @#$%^&*! went and somehow found my password, and used it to not only get into my EA/Origin account (and spend all my simpoints Gifting people), but then used it to get into my Google account and delete it. As such, all my related accounts like Youtube & Mediafire were deleted, and and my Photobucket account was hacked, my pictures either deleted or replaced with porn. *SIGH* I flagged the photos and reported them to Photobucket. We'll see if they can remove my old account, so I can start afresh under a new one. Yeah. Good times. EA contacted me straightaway when they saw a change in my account, which saved my tooshie--thanks EA/Origin! They managed to get my Sims 3 accounts back in order, change my password, and reimbursed me for my simpoints, so I am fortunate that that was far as the hacker got. And I learned a valuable lesson: strengthen your frikkin password, especially Google, since they like to automatically Connect you to every daggone thing!! I had that Youtube account before I even joined TS3 OR Gmail!! That was my baby! *sobbing* Just letting y'all in on the woe that is me! ^-^top

Welcome to 2012
To begin with I'd like to thank all the people who sent Greetings and Best Wishes during the festive season and apologise for not repling to each of you individually. I was in fact having problems with my pc :( So I now take this opportunity to wish you all the best for 2012 and hope you've had pleasant holidays :) I am aware that I have been very silent for the past few months and hope you haven't missed my creations too much. I've in fact been trying to decide on what kind of creations I would like to focus on most. The decision hasn't been an easy one since I enjoy doing both lots and objects, but I've finally come to the conclusion that I'll be concentrating more on lots this year. Unfortunately I'm a bit tied up until mid-Feb but I plan to get back soon after that. Until then .... happy Simming everyone!Here I Go Again
Heh, warning, it's been awhile since I've bothered to blog about anything so you might want to grab a snack for this one.
So... who's Katy Perry? I'm not that old, but she really doesn't trip any triggers for me. Other than hearing the name, I really have no clue, nor care, who she is, what she does, how she dresses, or who wants to date her. Really. Don't care. Actually, there isn't any actor/actress, singer/songwriter, etc that EA could theme an EP after that would get more than a "hmph" from me. Yeah, I can be a wet noodle sometimes but c'mon EA, do your own thing. Basically what the Katy Perry theme news says to me is "We here at EA predict that the upcoming Showtime EP will suck so horribly that we felt we needed to try an emergency tactic of glazing over the suckiness by offering tacky, real-world, charmless content in hopes nobody will notice how little we actually put into this ourselves."
So yeah, color me unamused. I've got my copy pre-ordered, as usual, but there just isn't anything in this one for me. However, if you miss an EP, your game does odd things, doesn't work right, and their patches do nothing but make it worse. For my son, skipping EPs has resulted in his game becoming a bonfire you can see from space. The only way to fix it was to get all the EPs. So, Showtime is ordered for patching and compatibility purposes. Woo. Because really, we all want an EP with crap in it that is really leftover, unfinished crap that should've been in the Late Night EP, and probably Ambitions. The celebrity thing never made sense to me anyway because there isn't anything for our sims to really do that's impressive or worth being a celebrity for. Oh, you go to work every day. Yay for you! That justifies stalker fans and a butler. Better put that huge, ugly gate out there with a spikey fence around the entire perimeter of that little plot you call home because them big baddies are out there to steal your fame and fortune. You wild and crazy gravedigger, you. Or the bookstore clerk, spa specialist, wacky stylist downtown, whatever. I guess you could be in the "acting" thing but noone ever sees you on their TV. Heck no! The Sims 2 is MUCH more interesting to watch than what your sims of today actually do in their own jobs and lives. But now, with the Showtime EP, we can actually make our sims do celebrity-worthy activities that will still interest noone. At least that "go down in flames" option will go unnoticed.
And for the life of me, wait, let me get into character here... ahem...lalalalalalala... Maker's breath! Why can't EA get someone to write the details for the new Showtime EP that didn't write the publicity nonsense for Dragon Age II? By Andraste's flaming sword, people out there are ready to kill for jobs and they have the nerve to recycle marketing tripe for one of their other games, which, by the way, was also a huge failure. Honestly! You sons of a tied down... sod it... nug's uncle... cheaper than an Antivan whore... standing there, wide-eyed, like a brainless calf... and don't you forget that swooping is bad!
Ok, I'm done. Not blogging, just ranting, about that, I think. And pretty much all of that is from DA Origins because DA2 had nothing going for it. The underwear in Origins was even better. So were the sex scenes. What the heck do they think we play these games for? To get the good stuff our real lives lack. Life is always better if you make it up. Jeez, where did these people go to school at, a cloister?
Ok, ok, I'll stop. For a little while. On another note, I have been doing new lots but have just lacked the ambition to upload them here. I just don't feel like resizing all my screenshots to the new requirements and heck, I don't even feel like going in and scrolling around my lots to get the shots. I dunno. Something just isn't there for me to care. Nice lots though. Shame I'm too lazy, er, busy with real world activities, to share.
Now onto my gameplay review (rant). I've been saving up for you folks. Actually, I just haven't been much for communicating with the world the last few months and now that my foot is finally healed (12 very long, miserable weeks), my blood remains unclotted, and my life is again back in my own hands (although I'm sure lightning will strike me now that I've written this) I can get back to finding a job or getting my business up and running. I'm so out of the loop though so I have a lot of catchup yet to do and I was in the process of organizing my office for a new career when my foot snapped too, so I have to finish that. Really, I was on the verge of greatness when I was smited by fate, again. I am still simming, but it's starting to be restricted because of real life. Argh *shakes fist at real life*! But anyway, let me ramble on about my game for a bit and I'll be happy.
So, Pets, how's it hangin'? Scratch that. Um, so...anyone strike a heroic pose lately? Yep, I can. Well, my sim can, with his trusty steed. I've decided my horseman is really just a horse pimp. Yeah buddy. Putting that stallion up for stud. But seriously, why is there such a long waiting period? Animals can have sex all day long, just like everybody else. Sheesh. I'm really surprised there isn't bush sex, pond sex, garage sex, under the back porch sex for animals. They just do it anywhere. Just watch National Geographic episodes. Oh, that might date me. Well we did when I was a chitlun! This nonsense needing a special "house" or place for them is just... well... nonsense! My parents get a fresh litter of kittens in their alley a few times a year and it's not because Ma and Pa cat were committed and romantic one night. Sheesh. Fairytales. Our sims don't need a special place, really. I mean, it's just plain common sense to do it in the treehouse, where your innocent children have feasts and dream of knights on white horses. Or in a haystack the horse regurgitated in. Or in bed, anyone's bed, even the neighbor's. And everyone loves good clean fun in the hot tub and shower! Don't mind that it's a public shower, in the local gym, at 2 a.m. And now we know what that smell is in the elevator at the apartment complex down the street.
I want to know, has anyone at EA ever had a cat? Because we've all been told cats own people, we don't own cats. This is true. Cats could give a crap less. They sit on you when they want to sit on you, where they want to sit on you, and when they want to sit on you. Cats don't need social. If they want it, they come and get it. Social to a cat is rubbing on your legs when you come home from work. They don't need much. If they do they let you know by plopping on your hands as you try to type that last email of the night, or chase the lasers across your monitor when you're online with the guys playing some mindless shooter, or jumping out from behind the shower curtain for a funny surprise when you're taking a poo on the loo. But basically they'd prefer to spend their time snoozing in the sunbeams from the window, which sim cats do not. And where's the "play with litter" interaction? Hmmm...? What cat doesn't play with its own turds caked in litter? And where's the catnip toys? And why can't cats sleep on your sim's head? Don't your cats sleep on your head? My son's cat sits on his face when he wants to wake him up. We are their pets. Resistance is futile. Why don't they sleep on top the TV? Attack the stereo? Or play in the kitchen sink? I just don't see sim cats doing the wacky stuff real cats do. They're kind of boring. But much better than the dogs. The dogs are plain stupid. They make better rocks than dogs. Mostly what mine do are block the routing of my sim. Either by sleeping in front of the fridge, standing in a doorway glassy-eyed, tail wagging, or following so close they merge with the sim as fur slippers that impede progress totally. Or the best is when I tell them to guard the house and they dutifully watch the burglar break in, wake the family, and then when the cops show up, they bark wildly and watch the fight. So much for a guard dog. Doggie, bite the bad man. He's wearing black with stripes. That's bad. And he thinks he's a racoon, those are also bad. Bite the bad doggie, bite the bad.
Horses aren't too annoying. They require little care and pretty much amuse themselves with that horrid ball. The happy horse ball? Are you serious? I have my sim winning races and putting him up for stud to make money. Not a bad racket. Pretty leisurely. If I wanted to bother with babies I guess I could get him a mare and do that too. I'm not really a horse person so I don't get too into it. I just wanted to try the new profession. I like my sims to do stuff from home. They lead happier lives working from home. I do know that sim horses are way LESS work than real ones. If you have horses they're your life. I can't say I've ever seen my aunt's playing with a giant ball though. She has other crap they'll kick around. They usually enjoy kicking their owners over playing with tin cups or balls. It would be kind of cool if EA would add a buggy to the game. Then our sims could take the whole family out for a stroll. The eco-friendly sims would love that. And notice that gardeners can use horse manure but that there is actually no manure in the game. I guess all those heaping piles of steaming waste would be unsightly. Maybe that would be too real for EA. Because we all know sex in the shower, bed, or tent never happens. Ah, fairytale dreams.

I don't know if anyone will even read this, but if you are, and interested in knowing, read on dear reader.
I've been working on my first apartment building in The Sims 3, it has been going very well and it has almost neared completion. I've based them on the London Mews slightly after seeing this lovely image.
So far I have a set of 6 apartment houses, two of which have a small garden, one of these belonging to the player home. I've tried to keep even the exterior styles varied, to exibit the personality of the people that may dwell within them. Each one has an identical layout except for the two with gardens on the end. There's even a scummy house that looks like it has been dragged through hell and a flood, mould and decay run rampant throughout, my eyes felt oh so dirty after I'd completed it. Although most users wont be able to see the interiors of the other houses, I decorated them as sparsely as I could in the style that reflects the exterior. I even created one like the black and white one in the image above!
Now I come to the sad part. My laptop, which is 5 years old, has finally decided to start to die. My disc drive has died completely and I can no longer use anything that requires a disc to play! I'm going to be getting a new one sometime in the near future and when I do I will complete my Apartment and load it all up for all to enjoy!

Here are a few pictures of my upcoming Art of Seduction Sims 3 bedroom set, it features a bed fit for royalty, nightstand, table lamp, a large chest, a tall cabinet with attached mirror, and a couple decorative objects. The set's bed still needs a few tweaks, but all the other objects are ready to go! I've also created a collection folder for the set.
Art of Seduction might be the perfect bedroom set for Sims looking for a romantic setting for a Valentine's Day celebration.

New year new things
Hi I've put my conservitory to one side just now, cant get the roof to work right (glass keeps disappearing) and i wont post sumthing i'm not happy with. I'm been working on some other stuff and have A new fence an gate ready to go (this got the gate diaganial to do) which i hope to post in a day or 2.
Hi just to up date im posting my new security gate and fence 2night, the gate wont work on the diaganal but ive since discovered that none of the ea gates do. I have the mesh fixed fine but i have to change to slots and footprints to diag an i don't no how to do that yet sojust posting as straight.
One small thing i have noticed with my game and garage doors i have posted they are not working right (not sure if ive regfixed them but thought i had) but if u download the fixed files from trs they work fine. I will get round to fixing them soon along with new multipilers for them.

Since flapper sims are a rarity I've decided to create sim versions of 1920's silent film actresses.
the skins i have finished so far are: Clara Bow, Mary Pickford, Billie Dove, Louise Brooks, Nancy Carroll
and just recently finished Dolores Costello. Making these skins is kind of tricky because it requires me to
work in grayscale mode first because the pictures I am using are either in sepia or black and white.
Maybe I'll make a tutorial in the near future of how I do it.
