Chapter 3: DAMN YOU INTERNET!!!!!!
Grrr! I absolutely hate doing this! But chapter 3 is going to take a few more days. I wanted to have it out like 2 days ago but unfortunately our internet is COMPLETELY DOWN!!! It's all ready to go I just can't upload it.
Now before you go calling me a liar, because I am obviously using the internet to type this. I am using the internet on my phone as a hotspot but it's the end of the month and i'm addicted to youtube, therefore leaving me with little internet that is extremely slow!! Just think what you think is slow and then multiply it by about a hundred. I've already tried uploading this stupid blog entry 3 times!! Because my internet keeps cutting out, but this time I'll be sure to copy all this text and paste it somewhere else so I don't lose it AGAIN.
Can you tell i'm just a little annoyed?
Anyway so chapter 3 should be out in a few days. I did try to upload chapter 3 but it just kept timing out and I'd lose all the pages. So......it will be out soon I promise!! And there will be no more posts about late chapters!! Unless EXTREMELY unforeseen events take place. I mean honestly the internet sure picked a good day to crap out, it's like how often does that happen?!? Just when you really need to use it, it's gone. I think it's some sort of problem with the actual router or something, need to speak with the internet people.

New Home Design Series
First, I would like to say that I am very new at submitting my home design work. I am still working on some things. Unfortunately, I do have to limit what I add into my homes because I don't have the money as of right now to be a paid subscriber. So if my homes ARE located in the subscriber only section, just know that I did try my best to make it so they would be in the free section, but I must have included something that put it in the subscriber section without realizing it. I'm still working on getting the hang of all of this. While I work hard on my homes, I certainly am aware that they don't belong in the paid subscriber area.
With that being said, I have finally settled down on an idea to do a specific home series. I'm going to do as much research on classic homes as I can (the first being the Classic Dutch Colonial) & then build them as best I can according to classic features. In the description I will include what the old school/classic features are. What I put in the homes I design may not be exact, but as any home creator here knows, we can only use what we have. I can't think of where I got this idea. I'd like to think that I'm that creative? But It is quite possible that this has already been done on here & I've seen it & forgot that I've seen it but remember the idea itself. So, if that's the case, please let me know.....
Going Home
I thought I should post an update for you all. I'm still at my parents' hobbling around on my broken foot and recovering from my massive blood clot episode. But I go in for a followup tomorrow on my foot and maybe I'll be able to start walking on it with one of those ugly boot things. I plan to return home this coming weekend once all the Turkey Day festivities have died down. I can't wait. I miss my bed, my TV, my food, my bathroom, my privacy... everything. With that will come a return to devoting time to my business so that will be less time for sims. I've been having a blast over this time period with the game though.
Some odd things I've noticed that scream "PATCH ME" are pets sending wedding gifts. That's just creepy. And my sims happily write them thank you notes back. What? You can't just walk over and pet the dog to say "thanks"? Do animals shop online? Maybe that's why horses run amok all over town. They're doing wedding shopping. Ah, makes perfect sense now.
Does the imaginary friend thing creep anyone else out? I'm sorry. It's got "Chuckie" written all over it. It's a bit odd when they're a teen size sack of crap standing there whining about playing this that and the other thing. And they have bad traits. Like kleptomaniac. Wonderful. Just what I need. Imaginary thieves. The burglar comes to my lots nightly the way it is. I guess they think it's Walmart or something. The guy gets beat up thoroughly every night by the cop, the butler, or the brave homeowner. Not to mention the dog chasing him around and the horse coming out stamping his feet too. Sheesh. Get a clue buddy. You're NOT going to get away with it.
Does anything bad happen if you just delete the stupid dolls? I have a household with six kids and 4 of them have annoying imaginary friends that have the wonderful talent for cancelling EVERYTHING in their queue repeatedly so they can have pillow fights. STOP IT! I want them dead. All of them. I'd hate to scar the kids by deleting their buddies but they're annoying. I hate them. Who's stupid idea was that anyway? We all need more disturbed children in our lives. Really. My sims take great pride in knowing all their kids are insane and talk to themselves and pantomime different activities. It's even better when the kids skip school because the stupid "friend" cancelled their queue.
Does every kid get one of those dumb dolls? One of my households has six kids and two never got one. My other household has two kids and one didn't get one. I really don't want any of my kids getting them. It's stupid. Get a real friend, not some make believe pile of crap from a Disney nightmare. And I love their names. Boinky, Buddy, Pal, Wiggles, Hesper, Patches, Peaches and Lord knows what else has come in my mailbox. And every one has looked different. Amazing. So much time and effort put into such an annoying addition to the game. Someone at EA needs to be shot. It's as much fun as the pranking in Sims 2 that ruined every relationship I ever built. I'm not a big hack user but I did have to get the one that removed that so my sims could live normal, happy lives instead of having flaming thought balloons of every sim they encountered. How many people carry around an endless supply of water balloons anyway? Who even carries ONE around? If you stick it in your pocket and it breaks you look like you peed your pants. Not cool.
Um, anyway, things are moving along for me as far as recovery is concerned. I'm spending my obscene amount of freetime playing Sims and Rift. The violent side of me needs to be nurtured too.
Kate In Canada Superset
A superset containing all four of my Kate In Canada sets will be published on Friday 25 November. This set comprises 19 items: 9 dresses, 2 coats, 2 casual outfits, 3 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans and 1 bag.
I love Kate's style and I have very much enjoyed trying my best to re-create these outfits as faithfully as possible - admittedly, with varying success! Some outfits were easier than others, but I always enjoyed the challenge. I hope that you (and your Sims!) have also enjoyed it. Please comment here to let me know which item was your favourite.

Instead of just sumbitting Take Care: Chapter 3, I'll sumbitt 3 and 4 in the same day and hopefully they'll both get approved at the same time. I want to add in Chapter 4 because it will be more exciting to read.
New earrings coming soon...
I've been busy the last week or so making another set of earrings for adults/teens/elders. This set is going to be made up of earrings from Michal Negrin, so very colourful with lots of flowers, crystals and beads. :) Hopefuly they will be uploaded in the next day or two! A few of the earrings in the set...

Trying to put together this chapter left my head spinning because I wasn't sure which characters should and shouldn't be inlcuded and I guess you'll find out.

It has been a little while since I have posted anything new but I am working on a few things and they should be out soon... as long as no more emergancys drop on my house. Our furnace decided to quite working and it took us several days to get it running again. While that was going on, our water pump decided to have a fit as well, and that was not very much fun either. Then I managed to hurt myself while cutting wood. Why anybody trusts me with a chainsaw I will never know, it's a wonder that I didn't cut my own head off when I tripped and fell. And naturally while all those crummy things were happening a whole lot of little irritating things came along with it... you know, all those annoying things that normally are not to bad by themselves, but starts to become big in your own mind when coupled with the larger things. *sigh* But things are better now, and I should start to have some extra time again. One of the nice things that I discovered was that I actually won third place in the TSR Halloween screenshot event on Facebook. :) It took me until Nov. 8th to realize it, but it was nice to know. I have not recieved my prize yet, but I am sure that it will eventually happen. (I am sure that people are busy.) It was just nice that somebody actually liked the picture, made my day.
Here pretty soon I will have another castle/fortress up on the exchange. I was not actually planning to build another one, but my husband saw the first one and insisted that I build him a bigger one with a mini tomb adventure inculded. I was surprised by that request but I never could say no to the man. So within the next few days it should be available for download. (I am not building something that huge and a pain in the butt and not sharing.) Happy Simming, folks!

I might upload some of my characters from my story "Take Care" sometime this week for anyone that was interested in the way they looked, had their hair set-up, or the clothes they wore :)

I've had no time to play the sims in the past 2 months... I've never not had to play *sigh* school is fun a killjoy! However i've substituted actually playing the game with downloading awesome custom content for it so when i DO have time to play my sims will have awesome new things woo! :)
Story Reset! New and Improved Plot & Characters
And I'm back XD
As no one knows, My Funny Friends and Me is a story that I make up as I go. There is no established history of how and why things happened. I tried to give an explanation to Samantha's kidnapping but alas, I couldn't.
So to solve that silly mistake of mine, I've decided to restart the whole thing over. Only this time, there will be an established history, facts, and other things that will make this story even more unique. (coz, I find present day settings a little too common - yes, the timeline, setting, culture and other shiz will be changed as well.)
Characters will still be the same hot sexy bishies we love, plus MORE of them. Yep, not just Zeke and Nick (which I renamed to Gale XD) but *censored number lol* more characters.
HOWEVER. This will not be in sims format, but in hand drawn comic format.
I find it hard to convert my designs to sims since my buildings and settings are almost impossible to make ingame without killing my laptop forever. Seriously, a tower, embraced by a giant tree? Simming not possible D:
See what I mean? Course they're naked right now coz...well...shirtless men are just so nice to look at hahaha.
So yeah, a comic it shall be.
Regarding the problem with downloading mesh files at Peggyzone
Hi everybody!
Since I mostly retexture hairs and very often use meshes from Peggyzone, there has been a lot of comments about the link given to the hair mesh. There is a problem with opening Peggyzone pages to download the mesh files. Google Chrome browser and some other browsers have issues with Peggyzone pages. You can download the mesh from another browser like Mozilla Firefox v7.0 or Internet Explorer v8, it works fine.
I am writing this to stop all the comments and whining about this in my posts. It is really out of my control and there is absolutely nothing wrong with my uploaded content. So please stop whining about it, I will simply just delete the comments about this otherwise.

Facebook & Twitter
Some of you might be wondering why it is taking me so long to get my next house, or story chapter, uploaded. Well, recently I was asked to join the TSR Staff and take over the Facebook and Twitter posts... things like the daily Featured Creations lottery, and the TSR Spotlight. I'm really excited to be doing these things, but they do take some time. I promise that I have a new house on the way and Chapter 6 is written I just need a couple more screenshots. Thanks for being patient!

Chapter 2......?
Okay so I promise this will be the only time I will apologize for a Tomb Raider chapter being late but I'm sorry the Tomb Raider chapter is going to be late....well is currently late because it's been 2 weeks and I really wanted to have a chapter out every few days.
But! I have good reason......well maybe not good....but I've been working on another project. A project that will reward me handsomely if I win. So basically a gaming tv show is running a competition to write a Batman comic and if you win you are rewarded with a life size 6 foot tall 75kg BATMAN! to.....do nothing with really......just have him standing there looking AWESOME!!! Yeah so not really sims related but that's what most of my free time has been devoted to. But the competition finishes on Monday, so after I've finished my batman comic I'll finish off Chapter 2 of Tomb Raider!!

Hi ya all,
Nice to see you all again.
I''ve been away for a few months (well from the siteat least) I had to focus on finding a job and trying to keep it. over the months I switch jobs again, now everyting is more stable in my probation time at my second job I got a promotion already. having said this..... life treating me well......
I will be returning to TSR with new designs, new screens and more. I do had to reinstall all the sections of the sims 3 doing this as we speak, this means everyting else that I had planned out is gone so it''s a whole new start for me.....
I hope all the people that bookmarked me so for will stay with me for alittle bit longer new stuff arriving soon... and there will be a new world to when it is finished I''ll let you know and tell you where to get it...

Kate In Canada Part 4: The Finale
Here is the fourth and final installment of my Kate In Canada set - items inspired by the wardrobe of the Duchess of Cambridge during her trip to Canada this summer. This set comprises two complete outfits, two tops and one pair of jeans.
This set is a little more casual than previous sets and has a bit of a Western theme. It requires three meshes available at TSR and one standard Maxis base game mesh.
The four outfits I've re-created this time are as follows:
1. The casual ensemble which Kate wore to visit Slave Lake in Alberta on 6 July, comprising navy blue J Brand skinny jeans worn with Linda Camm belt, cream ruffled blouse, Smythe Les Vestes One Button Blazer and Pied A Terre 'Imperia' black sling back wedges. I had a lot of trouble sourcing a mesh for this outfit as it required wedge heels, skinny jeans and an open jacket with a cut out section at the back. In the end I plumped for ulkrhsn's mesh 005 which is a little curvier than Kate but ticks most of the boxes, although the shoes had to be adapted a bit from those that Kate wore. This is a very versatile mesh which allowed me to re-create the white lining of Kate's Smythe Les Vestes jacket - I think this looks quite snazzy in the game.
2. Kate put together a Western-style outfit for Day 1 of the Calgary Stampede on 7 July, comprising GoldSign 'Passion' bootcut jeans worn with an eye-catching belt, the gorgeous 'Armonia' shirt by Temperley and R Soles 'Vegas Setter' cowboy boots - topped off, of course, with the symbolic white Smithbilt Stetson hat with which she had been presented earlier in the day on her arrival in Calgary. I have re-created this outfit as separates. The jeans use a standard Maxis base game mesh. The shirt requires Tantra's AF6 mesh. N.B. The shirt will vary in length in the game depending on which bottom half you pair it with.
3. For Day 2 of the Calgary Stampede on 8 July, Kate wore a similar outfit to the one she had worn the previous day, but this time substituted the equally gorgeous 'Rodeo' shirt by Temperley. The jeans are the same pair as worn on the previous day and the new shirt uses the same Tantra mesh as the previous one.
4. For her departure from Canada later on 8 July, Kate wore the elegant red wool 'Marianne' coat dress by Catherine Walker accessorised with the Queen's diamond maple leaf brooch and her favourite L.K. Bennett taupe 'Sledge' pumps. BBKZ's 150211 mesh worked very well for this outfit, especially the very cute platform high heels.
For once, all the outfits (except the jeans) are maternity friendly. However, you have to be careful which bottom half you pair with the shirts as bottom halfs are not generally maternity friendly and you end up with a very odd effect!
As always, a big thank you to the very talented meshers who allow me to re-create these real life outfits for The Sims.
All these outfits are available for adults and young adults.
** Incidentally, please make sure that you have your in-game settings set to the highest quality in order for the outfits to show up properly in the game. In the past, in the interests of making the game run more quickly, I have experimented with lower settings and was appalled at how blurred and awful some of my outfits appeared. My preview pictures are always created from screenshots taken in my game with minimal editing, so that is how the outfits should look in your game. If they don't, please check your settings! **

Have started on a new world project

At the same time I'm working on:
2 castles: 1 I'm just trying to reduce the amount of CC. Using the Custard for that. The other I have to go through the hole thing looking for any CC hidding under the floorboards.
241011 Spanish palace kind of thing. I'm making it for MTS I hope. Using 1 of Lulasimai massive 2,71 mb windows, 50x50. Doing decorating and furnishings there now. It's a technically advanced thingi.
1 lot has not really a shape yet. It's just for showing off my skills. It has an underground theater, an aquarium in the basement, a floating hottub, a sliding waterpool feature thingi, a pool on the roof, an entrance to the basement from ground, and a multilevel fountain at the front. I'm seriously doubting this will ever be useful. What's the point in showing off my skills anyway.
The Italian Palace/mansion lot with the big fountain in the middle is still at the back of my mind somewhere. The problem is fitting the emitters without being able to see the result instantly. I probably have to live with some clutter around.
... and I have some other plans too ... of yes Villa dei Mysteri in Pompeii for MTS competition ... and more.

Almost finished!
I have been working on a project and have under the same time been busy with school. So there is why I have not been posting in a looong time. But I am almost finished with my project/request and soon there will be a lot of new content up, I hope you will like it! Yeah, i am still alive. Sooooo much to do but sooooooo little time :(
Our Babyboy is now nearly 8 Months old, he crawls, puts everything in his mouth and will climb at every table or chair or whatever he finds.
I would love to play sims, build lots and stuff... but i have no time for it :(
