Hi! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter holiday! i know i did!

So i managed to fix my computer--idk what happened..but my game works okay..it just takes FOREVER to load (?) i dont suppose its the 15,000 files of cc..? lol.

okay so i was wondering if anyone might have this same problem..i installed the sims 2 on my laptop & i dont want to redownload all my cc--i just have way too much stuff (but its all great)--and i tried to copy my downloads folder to a DVD-rom (bc theyre bigger than CD-roms) and for some reason--some of the files wont copy..any ideas?

<p>Yeah I think Jennifer has it on the head. $\:cool\:$ Some files that I've gotten when I moved it from the original spot it was saved can't be opened so maybe it's just that. $\:confused\:$   But I think I take the cake when it comes to cc. $\:o$   Oh anywhere from 50,000-65,000 files. $\:ph34r\:$   And yes my game takes well over an hr to get the the enable custom content screen and about 30min to get to the neighborhood screen where I can select a lot + another up to 30 min to load the lot depending on how big & how much cc is on the lot. $\:\)$   Yeah it takes a looooong time to load but OMG is my game FU-UN once I finally do get there. $\:rah\:$   Best of luck.</p>

<p>Hi Christina, I´m glad you got your game sorted out. $\:\)$ Can´t give you any ideas as far as the loading for you as I don´t have that many CC in my game. But haven´t you got a USB stick? For transfer? Anyway, does it say that the files are protected? Does it ask if you want to copy though it´s protected? Usually if files are protected this pops up, but you should be able to copy anyway. Maybe someone else knows more about it. $\:\)$ </p>
