After I posted pictures of my "Cream Cheese Pound Cake" mesh file, a few people requested the recipe. Hope you enjoy the recipe, beware of the calories, LOL.
Cream Cheese Pound Cake
3 cups of flour
3 cups of sugar
6 eggs
1 � teaspoon vanilla extract
1-8 oz. package of cream cheese
1-teaspoon almond extract (optional)
Dash of salt
3 sticks of unsalted butter
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add vanilla and almond extract. Add soften cream cheese to mixture. Alternately mix in 1 egg at a time with flour, and dash of salt. Pour batter into 10-inch Bundt pan and bake at 300 to 325 degrees 60 to 75 minutes or until golden brown and center of cake is done.
