How about a traditional English Inglenook fireplace? I'm making two versions: the correct 2-storey version (the upper chimney breast will, of course, pass through upper floor tiles - it's meant to (that's how they are), and a 1-storey version (full room height but won't pass through to the upper floor). Because they don't use the Maxis chimney, no special installation is required.

I'm also making a couple of matching decorative chimney pieces for anyone who would like the appearance of a chimney! Of course, given my track record to date, after release I'll naturally be announcing some fault or other and a whole series of updates. I've even had to do that with wallpaper, before now! Some people are born creators, others of us try but should really find a different hobby - like sitting still and doing nothing anywhere near a computer!

I remember a fireplace like that at The Poacher's Pocket in Somerset. A very nice place to warm your rear end $\;\)$ This is going to be a must in a pub build!

This is me, jumping for joy. I have wanted something like this for a while - but I can't even master recoloring, much less meshing. I have resorted to faking fireplaces this size to get the look I wanted. Now all I need is just working logs for all the fake fireplaces I am too lazy to rebuild.
