A Little Bit About Me
So, for anyone who actually reads this blog, I thought that I would tell you a little bit about myself. It might also help you understand why there are lags between uploads sometimes. I am 21 and living in the USA. I recently graduated college with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. This summer has been spent looking for that perfect job for next year. I have not found it yet so keep your fingers crossed. I enjoy writing stories and playing around on the computer. I didn't jump on the Sims craze when it all started happening. I saw the commercials on TV for Sims 1 and thought "Hmm...that might be kind of fun." My sister and I were always big fans of Barbies, so it makes sense that I would be drawn to the sims. I looked in stores for Sims 1 but just couldn't shell out the money. About a year after Sims 2 came out, my sister and I found The Sims Deluxe Edition on sale somewhere. We looked at it and finally broke down and bought it. Within a couple of weeks, we had bought all of the expansion packs. I was addicted. I would look at Sims 2 on the shelves and think "Eh, Sims 1 is keeping me busy and happy for now. I'll save a few bucks." However, once I started coming on thesims.com and TSR and was seeing screenshots by people from Sims 2, I got curious. I finally convinced my sister and we broke down and bought it. It wasn't long before I wanted an expansion pack. Open for Business had just come out and I knew I didn't want the newest pack until the bugs were worked out. So, I started asking on thesims2.com BBS which pack was better - University or Nightlife. I got mixed results and finally decided to just buy them in order. So, I found University at one store and found Nightlife for an extremely cheap amount at another store and ended up with both. Soon enough, I was buying Open for Business and continuing with the other expansion and stuff packs until I realized my computer was slowing down and couldn't handle any more. So, I bought more memory for my computer. Well, that was great but suddenly I didn't want my game slowing down due to more stuff and expansion packs. So, I stopped with Bon Voyage (I was already missing a few stuff packs). Now, I have a new computer and the game is running so fast that I'm super excited. I'm planning on buying Freetime sometime soon to add to my game. But for now, I'm just happy playing with what I've got. The fun comes from making stuff, telling stories, and sharing things I discover with others. As always, Happy Simming!! And what is an entry without a screenshot?
