Not exactly what I saw . . .

I finished a set of walls based on what I had seen on TV last week.  Its not exactly what I saw, but it was inspired by it. I hope you like them! 

I like doing walls and floors and I like doing meshes, but I am not really very good at making new textures for clothing.  Its the shading that kills me every time! I am quite critical about that and very hard on myself. I've never created any objects yet . . . (starting tutorial search!)

I hope that I will be able to create items for Sims 3 when it comes out.  I can't wait for it to come out!

James' first birthday

Well, I can't believe it but my son James is a year old today, where has the time gone? So far he's had three temper tantrums today and is currently in his play pen having a whinging paddy. All this because he didn't sleep properly last night and was awake at 4am this morning!

His dad and me have  bought him a garage for his birthday, which has failed to arrive yet from the Early Learning Centre, so big epic fail on their part for that as they said it would up up to four days delivery. I noticed when I went to look for a present for another one of James' baby friends that the garage is now showing up as out of stock so mine better arrive tomorrow or else!

He hasn't got loads of things, a couple of all in ones, some jigsaw puzzles, a gorgeous batick blanket from his grandpapa and a wooden rattle from his aunty El all the way from New Zealand, my parents have bought him some Premium Bonds - lets hope they come up with the million pound prize then! He got money to go in his savings account - when we finally get round to opening one up for him and his Uncle Richard bought him some vouchers for Next, so he can get some lovely new posh clothes.

Backrow expanded

I am working on some lots to go with my Backrow Workhouse. Right now I have a pub, tailor and butcher shop and a cemetery. I have some more ideas and are working on them right now. They will be ready for uploading soon so keep an eye out

UPDATES!!!

First of all, some news:

My laptop is not working again... and I have decided that I will buy a new one, which could take some time. So for now, all my creations are on hiatus... annoying, yes, but take light on the fact that I will still be creating sims 2 stuff before the sims 3 starts to dominate the world!

About Sims 3:

I just pre-ordered a Collector's Edition last night! It was expensive, but I guess it was worth it! I also hope that the delay of the release date of this game will ensure that there will be less bugs in the game... even better, I hope there will be ZERO bugs!

Anyways, the series I am working on involves BASEGAME homes, so expect more of those basegame homes sooner or later. This could also be my last Sims 2 LOTS set... but who knows?

About THE BLACK STATUE part 6:

Don't worry about it! I might as well keep on doing it in Sims 2 and finish it using Sims 2 (Unless, of course, The Sims 3 will provide ideal features and content for me to do it there). DO NOT WORRY. The story will be finished! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Anyways, I miss creating! School is almost over but my laptop is no more, so maybe I just have to wait a little longer before I can go back to creating!

Introduction

I just wanted to say hello to anyone who might stumble along my page. I've finally been able to get a computer to be able actually play Sims2 and I'm way excited that I can. I like playing the Sims2 because it's a great distraction from having Fibromyalgia, which is a chronic pain and fatigue syndrome and there are days and some nights that I hurt too much, I can start up the game and play for a while. My favorite parts of the game are decorating places and creating Sims. I can spend an hour, sometimes more making a Sim.

Anyways, I just wanted to thank all the wonderful creators out there who help me forget about the pain for a while and live out stories and adventures.

Well blast it!

Naturally in the process of updating and correcting my meshes I end up having "old" and "new" versions of things on my system and I am not the brightest of people these days, so YET AGAIN! I have managed to upload the wrong version of an item.

This time it's the BEOS 5000 CPU - the version uploaded is the original "pre-updated" version and won't take the recolours - I am sending a PM to the staff to bump that particular item into the rejected bin so I can change the package file to the new and updated version.

The Tape Reader and Printer are fine, only the CPU is wonky.

It will take a day or so to correct the file, and I apologise for the inconvenience, but all will be set to rights as soon as possible.

Feeling like crap....yet still creating

Hi everybody ~Happy Sunday! It was a beeeauutiful day here is SW Ontario .. a gorgeous PLUS 14 ! YIPEE! At one point this afternoon the hubby and I took the doggie to the dog park for 2 entire hours - but it was nice out and the park was packed ~ everyone AND their dog was there - HAHA.

However I have been feeling really yuck alll weekend. On Friday i had 2 cleaning clients ... I cleaned the first house and then whilst driving to the second one i ate my lunch - a banana, some raisins and some cheese strings . When i was finished about 5 minutes after eating I began to get horrible pain in my abdomen. Pain somewhat similar to the pain I had had twice before in the past 6 weeks... where i was in excruciating pain after eating chinese food one time - the other time pizza. On friday the pain was so bad I had to go home and lay down. I have felt awful ever since and cannot eat anything wihtout feeling ill...and my gallbladder feels tender and swollen. I was supposed to go for an ultrasound 3 weeks ago for gallstones but i have been so busy that i didnt go. But tommorrow I HAVE to go! So even with all the other crap in my life - hubby , kids , finances etc .. now I am dealing with this!

Despite the nausea and pain i have been creating this weekend though.. pretty much cuz i dont have the energy to do anything more than sit here. After finally eating some plain rice today i had the energy for abit to take my dog to the dog park. I am now wiped out and nauseous again though.

So what did i accomplish this weekend? Three houses so far, a bunch of build item recolors, and some furniture recolors. I have sooo much to upload now.. that whats i will be doing the remainder of this evening!

Please pray for me okay? Pray I feel better - as this week i have a FULL work week as everything is crammed into 4 days as my hubby has a pain specialist appt in Toronto ( well over an hour away from here) on Friday and it will be an all day affair. PLUS I have to clean the house i didnt clean on friday because of the attack. I dont have the energy for it but we desperately need the money . Last week was our 16 yr olds sons bday and Saturday was PrincessMooMoo's 11 th bday. That cost us alot of cash those 2 birthdays! Now we are broke so I MUST go back to work!

I don't mean just random details, like pictures.

Don't be distracted by pictures and AV.  I mean the basic details like fonts, line shapes, size and color.

My first apartment complex

I am going thur a stage where i want to expand myself lol. i did a 2 story apartment complex with 4 apartments and a penthouse suite.. It looks alot like my other creations expect the apartments, each apartment is different and has a different theme. I probably upload some screen shots..and also my new lot coming up Sinful Lust is my second loft house but its more modern and its a bacholor pad.
