Duhh!1

I just realized that I failed to save either my homecrafter files, or my packaged lot files so I am going to have to download my own community lots when I go to recreate Paradise Park after my computer is fixed. This is just stupid.

I can't Wait Until my Computer is up and running again

I have some ideas percolating in my head for a new lot. After the computer crashed and burned I did rescue my downloads folder meaning I have all of the buid stuff I downloaded here and at Mod the Sims. I want to do something with Dots Invisible Columns - and it could be fun - so much more space. Maybe if I could find invisible stairs as well.

Im sorry for not really posting anything or respond to some of your questions, but i have been bussy.

I want to thank you all for your nice coments and thanks! it really meens a lot to me.

also someone has send me a comment accusing me of stelling The Rachel hair set! Its not true and by this i can only imagine that someone has stole my creation and markos hair mesh! so please if anyone has seen the hair posted anywhere besides my minisite let me know i really want to find out who is behind this.

Back in the Game again

I had some issues downloading but I think I figured it out. Back to building and would like to thank everyone who leave me comments thank you thank you. Have a great March   deb

Approved of but disapproving of.... lol

Well, I was happily sad to see I wasn't the only ones with problems. I knew I wasn't, but sometimes you do feel you are.  Either way it's nice when fellow sufferers can join together and comfort each other.

My one set of carpets seems to have been approved and another wall/flor set is pending. I am currently working on some vintage-feel walls and hope to have those up soon.

Lost In Left Field

Sorry I disappeared for a while... I just celebrated my 23rd birthday (or maybe I should say worried about it) =P

I'll doing some more building here pretty soon, right now I'm taking the Curious Family in Strangetown to all kinds of messiness.  lol

They were all abducted once or twice and have a bunch of alien little ones.  I like how my game chose custom content hair for the toddlers.  It was cute.  =)

I've got some more celebrating to do tonight, but I should be back at the building here soon, and I'll post my flip this sim episode.

Keeping The Roof Up

Taking a short break from the Panorama windows to work on some columns TUG suggested. They are my BIG! column's cut in half diagonally. At first I thought I'd just be doing the one straight diagonally cut one. But once I got into looking at it, other possibilities began to appear!

There will be 3 sizes. One full tile, one small (sits against walls properly), and a very small (sits away from walls as in the above preview).

I'll make recolors to match the original BIG!Column set, but am also playing with some new ideas.

Panorama Windows Update: I want to create as many build possibilites as I can with this collection, so there are more sets on the way: top row, middle row, bottom row, top and middle, middle and bottom.

I'm also going to do top and bottom rows, leaving wall space in the middle. This has reminded me of another "I've always wanted ideas", which is to have a TV built into the wall with as little profile as possible. I don't know if anyone has done this and I simply haven't come across it, but I think it would be cool to create one that will fit nicely into the space between the top and bottom rows of windows.

Also, I 'think' I've come up with an idea I like for matching Panorama Doors, I just need to try it and see if it will work as I want it too.

And, yeah. I think that's all going to keep me busy for awhile. Oh! I also had another window idea, very different. But again, won't know if it will work until I get the time to try it out. ;)

A new day

Today I'm feeling inspired. Unfortunatly I don't have time to create anything today. I will probably take pictures of my tops I mentioned in my last blog entry later today or tomorrow.

Bad downloads ARRRGGGHHHH!

There is nothing i hate more than finding a cool item for sims then downloading and installing it ..only to find it freezes your game or crashes it! ARRGGH. Last night I downloaded several cool itmes - awesome new building stuff ( so i could have variety when building ) Sure enough game wouldnt start. So i went into my downloads folder and starting slowly one by one stripping away and uninstalling each new item and then see if I could start my game. Eventually i had to uninstall EVERY new thing then the game ran .. BUT i discovered somewhere along the way in my stripping down i deleted other stuff that i had wanted !!!!! Drive me bonky!! Triple GRRRR!

Some of the things I lost i cannot remember where i got them from but thankfully i have several of those build itmes included in two new lots I have coming out sunday. So i can just get them once i re-download my own houses!

But I am ticked right off and so i think i am going to totally strip down everything and re-install the games themselves again and start from scratch again. After the christmas episode of this same nonsense i got smart and copied all my fave files to another location so i can just move them over once i re-install :) Too soon old .... too late smart ..

Thinking about re-installing etc i am torn about whether i should just have furniture downloads ( with some windows and accessories etc for preview pictures) for recoloring furniture OR just build itmes. The problem arises when i have too many things in my downloadds folder. Hmm.. good topic for a new poll??
