Hallo, I'm back. It's a little long time for me that I do not play with Sims2...(oh!) What I want to say is, there are still so many wonderful creations around this game! Crazy! So, I've installed the Sims2 and its EPs, SPs again, and Now, I'm going on to collect the best sims2 items once again! Wow, it makes just a high amusement to find them and to have them! THANKS to all creator for her or his creations what I have! I am so glad and I think, I should share the treasures with people who love Sims 2, too. Window Mania Continues

I'm getting the feeling that the Panorama Windows are going to be a rather large collection of sets, lol. Finished this one that has three rows of individual windows and am planning a two row, top row, possibly bottom and middle rows?

hmm... now that I'm thinking about it... corner windows should be possible will a left and right mesh...

The Dress! - In progress

So yesterday, I started doing SJP's dress from the Oscars... Well, in fact, I'm nearly ready with it, I just have to fix some mistakes, add a fatmorph and it will be ready ;)

Of course I'll do some other Oscar dresses (at least 1) and will publish them in a shiny new set ;)

Well i figured I would write a short update tonight before I hit the sack.. why i do not know cuz i am totally exhausted! This week has been a rather hectic crazy week .. my 16 yr old son had to have surgery this week to get his adnoids removed and it was running back and forth to a major city almost a hour away twice two days in a row! Today was especially long - most of the day spent at the hospital! Plus i had a full work week .. tommorrow i have some customers crammed into one day so i should be good and tired and unable to do diddly Friday nite.. well we'll see.. i hope not as I have some recolors I want to make and a bunch of stuff that i need to upload!

We have grown tired of our tiny townhouse so we have started looking around for a bigger place .. egads! what an endeavor that will be! We have soo much stuff - but makes a good reason to have a yard sale and also throw out a lot of crap we dont use or need! The move wont be until may or June --- and then at that time you may not see me for a week or two as i pack and move and unpack! I hate moving .. i really do and we have been here at this place 5 years.. we outgrew it LONG ago but because Pauly and I hate moving we stayed for as long as we could handle. But the boys and girls ALL need their own rooms instead of sharing so it is now time!It will certainly cost us a pretty penny to rent but oh well.. a few more years and they will all be gone on their own! ( Or so i hope anyways!LOL)

I havent had a chance to work on my website OR even read the book i have. A must do for this weekend along with the zillion other plans that i have scheduled. LOL.. like for example if its warm out i need to start spring cleaning and clean out the basement ( need to to move anyways) and i need to clean out the minivan .. wash , vac ...all that good stuff! I think i need a 192 hour long weekend! LOL again!

Okay anyways I am rambling and giddy cuz I am tired.. i am beginning to go cross-eyed looking at the computer screen too! LOL so i will go ...

Why is it ... ?

After spending a few hours thinking about it, it seems to me that many things being made for the Sims are not really all that common.  Sure, I can hear you, people do wear wedding dresses, but if you think about it, they don't wear them very often... I know that there is a certain perverse appeal in the shabby chic, that sort of grunged up forlorn decay that makes for lovely goth storylines, but common work-a-day things seem to be largely over-looked by custom content makers.

My friend Starfire (Firestar here on TSR) was complaining about the lack of some really common everyday items that would be useful for story-tellers.  She has some great ideas, but I don't think I am capable of achiving all of them.  One of the simplest things as a coffee mug with variable volumes of coffee, which resulted in me making the Not So Simple Coffee Mug which I have released this weekend. It is such a simple and useful thing that I have decided to make this permanently free so all story-tellers in the Sims Community can use it.

Several other things she asked for were the makings of a train station platform (I already made the railway tracks for the Arkham set) and morgue items (which strangely enough I know rather a great deal about).  I'd love to make the locomotive and railway wagons she requested, but I have gone down that road before and the poly-counts were just mind-boggling.  Maybe if there was any easy way to port meshes and textures between different games it might be done, but I can't expect the game industry to all agree on a format.

Any way... If you are a story-teller and have a specific need, don't be afraid to say something to me about it here in my blog.  Admittedly I don't read my blog every day, but I don't make content for the game every day either.  So if you say something here, maybe it will get made.  I am not promising it will, but just saying here is far better than in a PM, since I read my PMs even less often than I read my blog
