Early anniversary present
My 14th wedding anniversary is coming up on February 14th, and my husband got me a present early. I have always wanted a china hutch, and my husband came across one today where he works at. When he saw it, he asked if he coud have it, and was told yes!!!! It matches out table perfectly, and I cried when I saw it, now we can take my mother in laws stuff out of storage, and be able to see it everyday!!!

About my work....
Hello everyone :) I just wanted you to know:
All Spice Girls/Smashing Pumpkins clothing (and other content) used in pictures, screenshots and uploads are originals and all made by me, NO ONE ELSE MADE THEM. By the way, becareful of imiatators/posers; my work is all my own and I've been making Spice Girls Sims 2 items first before anyone else ever has.
I originally had tons of things on the Exchange but someone was not only stealing my work and calling it their own, but they were even stealing my persona. Then I found out that my work was floating around on people’s sims movies and even on youtube without my permission and people calling their work. I felt completely violated, so I removed my work from the Exchange.
So I just wanted you to know this and beaware and careful when uploading your work. I don’t want what happened to me happening to anyone else.

Two new stories
Tonight (or should I say very early morning), I am submitting two new stories. These stories are both Extreme Sim Homemakeover stories, in fact, they are episodes 14 and 15. If you are interested in seeing what the Mansion and Garden Matching Windows look like, you will be able to see them in Episode 15 (when it is published).
EDIT: Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to upload the stories now that it seems a bit different in Version 7. For some reason, the TSR Wizard is giving me problems, so as soon as I figure out how to get my story uploaded, then I will do so.
That's it for now!
Happy simming!

Chilly Saturday, still sick
I think I'm getting the hang of TSR v7. Sometimes though it still crash my browser or very slow. I want to thank everyone again for stopping by and leaving comments on my screenshots. And yeah, for my Photoimpact tutorial too. I know it's redundant but I appreciate it all. ^_^ I noticed that in the long time, Photoshop is still the best and most used tool in editing. I might try making another tutorial using Adobe Photoshop CS3/CS4 this time. I'll have to ask permissions first because the technique I'm using for Photoshop is from the tutorial made by my friend Celeste (simangel234 here in TSR). She makes gorgeous pictures too and the overall aura of her pics are one of my inspirations in the Sims 2 community. I was gonna link on that but her tutorial is gone now. The effect I'm giving to my Photoimpact pictures can also be done in Photoshop. Like I said, it's another story. Let's play by ear and hope to hear inputs from you.
It's been a week now since I started having this terrible cough, and the colds aren't even getting better. Maybe because I really don't rest and still go to work with these. It's chilly where I am at now and my husband made me some hot coffee. I feel less sick now. I was tired ~ all work ~ no break. I wanted to play long with my Sims 2 game but I kept on falling asleep on it while it loads. lol.
I've submitted pictures for the Yard and Garden screen competition. ^_^ It was fun making those pictures and hope to score a place. lol. I hope to make more but I really feel sick today. Maybe because of the weather.
Creator's Camp - Day 5
Well, this will be my last blog from the EA Studios in Redwood City, California. I'm boarding my plane tomorrow at Noon and heading back to the lovely state of Texas. I am excited to see Charles and Chica and my hellion Catillac. But at the same time...I am sad that I won't see estatica, hatshepsut, Tug, SteveB, padre333, DOT, or Ulkrshn...ever again, and if I do...I imagine it will be quite some time before then. Padre says 'Never say Never'...but, perhaps if I win the lottery or something, I'll fly over and visit with him and Carrot, and maybe even head to Turkey or Portugal or the UK...or maybe even to Tug's area of America. I've never been any of those places, so perhaps I should add it to my list of things to do.
Aside from the TSR folk, I've met some people who live in Texas...there were about 4 of us (ehaught (builder) and his wife and eggzie (machinima)), I believe. I always figured me and my mom were the only people in Texas who played the game...or at least, the only one's who admitted to playing to the game. It was interesting...all the different people and different accents. If you ever get a chance to hear Padre's Texan accent...it's definitely worth it. Poor thing, he tries so hard.
I have a load of pictures, but...of course...my mother's camera ate junk the first day, so they are either super blurry or...well, nonexistant. I may upload them at some point, and hope that you can tell what they are...or, I may just leave everything to the imagination. It is probably best I do that anyway. I've asked the TSR flock to send me some pictures because they all know my camera is a load of crap at the moment, so hopefully I'll have some for myself at least.
Today was the last day of the camp, there was an awards ceremony and then a cookie/cupcake decorating contest. After making my cookies, I just ate the icing and sprinkles. They were the best part of course. Dinner was...well, gross...again. I didn't really expect anything else, but I've got cookies and crackers here in my room to eat...so, I shouldn't starve before getting something in the morning before flying out.
I was really hoping to get to see San Fransisco before leaving, but didn't really ever have the chance. Oh well...just going to EA Studios was exciting enough. Not to mention the TSR Flock and all our weirdness... 8]
Looking To begin again
It has been quite some time since I have last entered the world of recolor. With all of the new techniques and Ideas out there I am very eager to begin again. Here is to another round.TS3 Creator's Camp: Day 6, 12:00
So Friday was the final day of the Creator's Camp event at EA. It was a last chance for the creators to put the finishing touches to what they had been working on all week and for us all to say our goodbyes before heading off back home and to our own communities.
We had an award ceremony for the best in show and other selected creation of which I'll try and post some more details when I find my notes! The official site will be featuring the Artists that attended the event this week with previews of what they made, so keep l look out for that.
Before we left EA it was play time! We had a 'Plumbob cookie and cupcake decorating competition' where we all got to play with (and eat) candy, icing and sprinkly type things. My creativity score is pretty low so I only got as far as a custom content snowflake cupcake and an Edible Arts cookie. They didn't win any prizes needless to say, but it was a fun end to the week.
I'm now off to pack my bags and shut things down so goodbye from Redwood Shores! I'll be posting again from home whenever I get there… I think that's tomorrow at some point :o
/Steve
