Database issues, hopefully fixed

As you may have experienced, we have had a few database related problems the last hour. This was due to locking situations when data is updated and retrieved at the same time, something you won't notice until there's a lot of traffic and new submissions going on at the same time. We have implemented a fix for that now, and hopefully things should run smoother now.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

FRUSTRATED. Argh!!!

Okay. So I've submitted the Buddy Guy Legacy THREE times already. The first time, it was rejected because I put the word "ballin" in it. I guess because it's a gang reference or something like that? I don't even know. I used it to refer to Buddy's clothing choice. He thought his clothes were stylish. ANYWAY. The other two times no images have shown up. So someone. PLEASE. help me out here. I'm about to throw my computer against the wall here.

A Third New Set Submitted

Today I have submitted a third new set.  This is another Maxis Match Set, and this time, it's the Mansion and Garden Stuff Windows.  Here's a break down of the four windows:

• a 1 tile version of the two tile Empire Style window (Bay View V2)
• a 1 tile version of the Art Deco two tile window (More Degrees)
• the Mansard roof window without the roofing
• a 1 tile window pulled out from the Empire style Bay Window (Bay View V4)

Hopefully, it should be approved soon, and I hope you will all enjoy it and find it useful!

And don't forget to look for the Maxis Match:  Modern Mission Kitchen Set and Chez Moi Recolor Set to be published tomorrow! :-)

Oriental Bedding Collection

Hi there,

I know I havent been around much and havent submitted anything new for ages, but I have a set of oriental inspired bedding coming out soon.

I have posted a picture of my new bedding collection in my Gallery pod, this new version wouldnt let me put the picture here (probably my fault, I expect I will get the hang of in the end..lol), so please take a look at my Gallery pod on my main pape...I will post here when they will be available to download.

Construction Site

This time the day was spent pretty much entirely on the construction site!  My 2nd building project has turned out be a little more elaborate than the 1st as I learn more about the building toolls and just what can be done with the customisation tools.  Gone are the days of none matching furniture and it's so easy to recolour everything and that includes the walls and floors.  No Homecrafter tool needed here!  Everything can be fine tuned to just the shade that you want.

The landscaping tools are also more detailed.  As you place plants from the inventory they automatically change shape and in some cases size so that you never get a row of identical flowers/shrubs.  Much more realistic.  It is also easier to achieve more realistic effects with the terrain spray paint tool which now comes with both a circular and square paint brush in 3 sizes.  Not only that but you can adjust the hardness/softness of these brushes which makes blending terrain paints much more effective.

Some of you might be familiar with the new roof tool that came with Mansion & Garden Stuff.  That also appears here although one drawback is that there is currently no ability to adjust individual roof slope angles.  Ceilings can be placed in the same way as in Apartment Life but are currently uncolourable.

One of my favourite features is the ability to place objects on an angle without having to resort to cheats and your sims will still be able to interact with those objects.  Also by holding down the ALT key you can place things more freely (like using the snapobjectstogrid cheat).

After a hard day on the construction site it was time for dinner which turned out to be quite an event!  If I'm a little worse for wear in the morning then I'm blaming Steve and Tug!

Зашла на сайт третьих симсов, с одной стороны впечатлилась, с другой - озадачилась. все так красиво и интересно, но потянет ли такое мой компьютер, все же и вторые с скрипом и торможением идут. минимальным системным требованиям соответствует только рабочий, но на работе играть.... это уже совсем как-то странно. на работе надо работать!

STORY: War of the Ancients

Alright, some of you know I haven't updated on War of the Ancients. Well, I've decided to move it to a new site. It hasn't been put up yet, but in about two days or so. It's been edited a little, some charecters have been added and some have been editted. The story plot has changed too. Why all these editings? Because this is the original War of the Ancients I wrote, I had to change it for TSR.
