HAPPY HOLIDAYS
Happy, happy Christmas, that can win us back to the delusions of our childish days; that can recall to the old man the pleasures of his youth; that can transport the sailor and the traveller, thousands of miles away, back to his own fire-side and his quiet home! ~Charles Dickens, The Pickwick Papers, 1836
All the best for the Holiday Season, where ever you may be, may your worries be light, your heart full of love~
Cheers~Karen

Problems
I've been trying for about a week now to upload some new creations, but it keeps messing up. I've decided that my computer goes through these rebellious stages where I can upload anything, whether it be pictures, videos, or, say, sims creations. So, I suppose I'll keep trying. Anyway though, I've been working hard on some vintage stuff: high waists, plaid, lace, and the like. I'm extrememly excited about those couple of sets. Hopefully they will be uploaded and published soon. I just published some additional male clothes. And they've done kinda of mediocre. For some reason, male clothes don't go over as well as female clothes. So I thought that I should say some more about yours truly. As in, non-sims stuff. Because you already know how amazingly talented I am in that area, right?
Currently reading: Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson
Currently watching: The Wizard of Oz (seriously)
Currently listening to: the new Fall Out Boy cd, Folie A Deux
Currently drinking: sweet tea
Currently wearing: school tee, jeans, and no shoes
Currently procrastinating: studying for my pre-cal exam and my Anatomy and Physiology exam.
Now you know. Maybe I'll do that un future blogs, because it's kinda fun. Claire

From Me & Mine to You & Yours,Merry Christmas! & Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!
To each and everyone here at TSR I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Years!Happy Holidays!
I wish you the happiest, safe and love filled holiday season! Joy and Hugs, CTStupid eyebrows!
So I was sitting here one day, playing my game, when I realized that none of my custom hair matched their eyebrows. It drove me nuts, so I decided that I was going to create custom eyebrows that match every custom hair I make. They may not come out right away, but I will definitely do them. Normal colors, weird colors, everything! :D Hopefully other people like this idea, let me know if you do or don't!An apology
I owe all of you an apology. Since the fall, I haven't been nearly as active as I'd like to be. For a number of reasons, my time to build and create has just vanished as of late, and I can't say I know when I'll be able to create on a consistent basis. The holidays are really eating at my schedule right now, so I hope I can be pardoned for my hiatus from now until the New Year. The rest of the time, I can't do anything about. Even after the New Year, I may not have as much free time as I'd like. It will opened up, hopefully to allow for some time.In happier news, I'm actually going to buy a new PC, that I've so longed talked about. That is being put in motion after the New Year to get ready for TS3!!!! I'm very excited about this game, and I'll be dying to play it. That may be one reason for my hiatus, anxiety towards TS3. But, I know that I won't be able to stay away from building on TS3, so fear not that Daman is gone for good. If things don't open up before TS3, they certainly will after its released. (I'll MAKE things open up!!)
Happy holidays to all, and best wishes for the New Year!
D'oh!
So yesterday I had problems uploading the sets I had made. They're submitted now, and there's even a master set! Yay! I feel better now. The Holidays always make me feel nostalgic, and while we've been decorating the apartment and shopping for Christmas we've been doing our traditional little things like listening to carols and drinking hot cocoa/tea and reminiscing about past Christmases. This year I have to work Christmas Day, and though I'll miss my family on that day I will get to spend it with friends from work that in two months I may never see again. Our centre is closing in February, we just found out, and though I know many I'll keep in touch with there will be some who won't reply or be able to keep in touch. How do you celebrate the Holidays?
And The Knee-Bone's Connected To The Thigh-Bone...
I've been asked a couple of times to explain to people how the items in my Victorian build sets cross-link with each other. Ie, what ones you have to have (or make sure your downloaders know to get) so you don't end up with flashing-blue objects in your lots.So here's the list of what is stand-alones, and what is connected:
Stand-Alone
- fences (requires any EP)
- modular stairs (which have special installation requirements)
- circular stairs (requires Apartment Life)
- gate
- column
Dependencies
- all windows and doors get their wood texture from a base game window, but require the Standard Straight window mesh for the stained glass textures
- all doors require the straight glass door with transom for their door handle texture
- the offset column and all window boxes need the regular column master mesh for their wood textures
- all window boxes get their soil texture from the 1-tile oleander straight window box
Hope that helps some of you solve any problems you're experiencing in using or recolouring these! I'll update this post whenever I add more objects to the set.
