WAHHH! Final School exams!

You've maybe noticed that i had not updated for the last two weeks, and i'm sorry but i don't have the time to update the next two weeks either :(
Currently i'm in my final school exams.. That means only: learning, learning learning for math, german, biology and history. But i promise i'll be back in two weeks for sure!

Joinable statues

Over the years I have done a bit of dabbling into the object creating realm. Those items have been solely for my own game since they tend to use bases which cannot be distributed. I have now decided to finally publish some objects.

Looking at other forums, there seems to be a want/need for fake Sims. My first object submissions here at TSR will be statues which can be used for store mannequins, art gallery statues, or even fake Sims. I am using the joinable bases from Lost Sims for these statues. They are compatible with just the base game, The Sims, so everyone can use them.

The first two statues are winter themed. I have used the SSX skins from Maxis (available at the official site or with Complete Collection). I plan to make various themed sets of these statues -- formal wear, swim wear, high fashion, maybe more winter wear, children, themed (Egyptian, Roman, Greek, pirate, Native American, etc), celebrities, and also a set using the Magic Town NPCs from Makin Magic for those who want to create a haunted house type of lot.

I will be creating a poll here on my mini-site so I can gauge what you the downloading public would like to have made as far as these statues/fake Sims are concerned. You are also free to comment here in my blog or PM me if you have a special statue/fake Sim request.

Jane Austen Dresses

Two more Regency Style gowns are on the way: one for adults (requires Nightlife) and one for teens (no EP needed). Hope they help all of you Austenites who are desperately trying to re-enact the great novels within the limitations of Simsville.

Remodels

I am working on two remodels. One is Federal Fortress, this will be the third time I have redone it. The other is a remodel of my A Phantasm Mansion. After I finished it the first time it always seemed too large. The house itself is still large but the rooms will be more managable.

1 Briney Drive

I mentioned this lot in the description of Briney Mall. 1 Briney Drive is a residence with a business. Briney Mall is a complete transformation from dual use resedential to a single use community.

Anyways I uploaded 1 Briney Drive before Briney Mall and had expected 1 Briney Drive to be available before Briney Mall was. As of today 1 Briney Drive is still pending where Briney Mall is already approved. Hopefully 1 Briney Drive will be approved or rejected or something soon.

More Reflex Hall Updates

Now most of my Lavendar Halls are ready for modern graphics cards. Paintings and curtains are new, I decided to put them in 2 objects sets that I will upload later today.

Update of the Prague Lavendar Hall

I promised an update of my Prague halls and here is #2, the Lavendar. I added an extra sideboard, a painting and 2 Simtomatic beachhouse curtain variants and one additional Simtomatic roman blind. Hope you like it. The other rooms in black, darkblue, lightblue and earthgreen will follow soon with additional paintings and Simtomatic curtains.

Quality - Set Pictures

I'm not sure I like the Neon set pictures, I'll admit this is an area I'm not very good at yet but it doesn't reflect the quality of the items themselves. It just means I still have a lot to learn about showcasing my creations! ;o)

Cyan Fence

What started out as a simple idea for a break from the Gargoyle project (which keeps growning and gaining parts everytime I look at it, lol) has turned into a big idea with 3 fences and floor-edge skins and caps and... yeah. But I'm glad it did because I think it has turned out quite nicely. The fencing is positioned off-center so that it fits fully under the flooring above. I made left and right fencing so that it looks better where it sinks into walls. Normally you would have the exposed floor edge showing in the image above, where the floor is above the fence. This always happens in this case and with decks on second floors, etc. Kinda always irritated me. So I am making a very simple 'skin' that can be placed over those edges to hide them and make your house look more 'finished'. The fencing is done, so once I've tweaked the floor edge skin for the billionth time to get the size right I will be able to submit these items.

I Could Be A Doctor

From what I've witnessed over the past ten years with MY doctor, I'm quite confident that I could do his job. Listen to patient, take notes, look up random drugs, write prescription, collect paycheck. Got it.

The man has been treating me for the same exact thing for 10 YEARS, and I get the same response every time I see him. "I don't see any change in your blood work...Hmmmm... Let's try this." **Shrugs**

Wow, that reassures me. At least he's consistant. Basically what it boils down to is that he DOESN'T KNOW what to do. Okay, no problem. I wish doctors would just be honest about what they do and don't know, rather than trying to act god-like and prescribe you all sorts of BS that won't help. I'd be far more willing to go along with something if they made it clear that it was more of an "experimental" sort of treatment to see what works. I'm not stupid, I know when you don't know what you're doing...

I swear, it took like 13 years for them to realize that I had Lupus. Heaven forbid that they listen to me and go along with MY theory of all the symptoms being related. No, they want to treat every symptom individually, or insist that I take an antideppresant because it's "all in my head". WTF?

I started this rant because of the newest thing to happen. My doctor finally figured out that I have endometiosis. Of course, they had to cut me open to figure it out, but I'd say it was well worth it. Now that man can't give me anymore crap when I tell him that my PMS includes so much pain that I can't WALK! That man used to look at me like I was crazy when I'd explain it to him and then try to prescribe Zoloft. Hello... I'm not depressed, or crazy. I have PAIN. MEN!! The best part? They're not going to do anything about it. Too risky to cut it out, and the drugs that are supposed to help don't mesh well with me. My prescription? "Take Advil." Which, if he'd bothered to care or just look at my file, would know that I can't take Advil, or aspirin. I've been with him for 10 FRIGGIN YEARS!, and he can't remember that?

I think I'm done with doctors for a while. Until something major happens, like my arm falls off, I won't be making any appointments any time soon.
