Up and Running!
Ok, I finally seem to have all my bits in the right places! Yesterday, I apparently didn't have any creations to download, but that seems to have been sorted - so please feel free to download as many as you like!

New tutorial - New free set
My latest tutorial has just been submitted. It's about adding a group, or subset, to an object mesh and if you have a look at it, you'll see that it's based on my Forked coffee table.
I made this table, and the matching lamp, on purpose for the tutorial, trying to make un unusual shape, but yet in my own style.
And to allow you to follow the tutorial easily, all the set will be free forever, starting from tomorrow, so that everyone can download it, and if it's the case, extract the mesh from the package and try out the tutorial.
Thank You's to Cyclonesue...
for her Modular stair tutorial. She already cured my fear of downloading them and installing them with her installation tutorial. With the help of this latest tutorial I learned how to make my own set of modular stairs. I think this is one of the best things I've learned so far because stairs are one of the things that I've dispaired over because the selection can be rather limited color wise. Granted after reading Cyclonesue's tutorial I downloaded a number of new modular stairs to help eliminate that problem. But this will give me so much more freedom when it comes to my building. And hey I'm always willing to share. ;pHello and Welcome!
Hi everybody and welcome to my new minisite!Loads and Loads of Thanks...
To Atwa and Spaik for their help in finding the more advanced objects in SimPE the other day! Thanks to them the rest of the Flowers of May Day Build objects will be done. So there will be a delay on the next set, but only because now that I was able to do the recolors for a fence and railing set, I want to make a set of matching Modular stairs. Thankfully Cyclone Sue whose wonderful tutorial walked me through installing modular stairs which scared the frick out of me also has a tutorial for creating them. I'm looking forward to the challenge, as soon as they are done and working properly I'll get the next build set out for the Flowers of May Day house. After that it will just be finishing the furniture and paintings. I'm so not looking forward to the kitchen stuff, because I think it's ruining my eyes the work is so detailed. But I promise there will be matching appliances for everyone to work with.A Poor Man's Cross Set
We are talking very plain design here. This will be my first public 'meshing' project, so please don't expect any bangs and whistles or dazzling construction. This took me a very long time ... and yet it is such a simple design ... just 2 boxes hooked together and colored. I think I made this cross at least 2 dozen times before I got the size I wanted. Meshing is a whole other world in which I stepped into. My hope now is that I actually uploaded correctly, lol! Here is a pix of the cross in a church setting. It's that tiny thing on the wall above the font, lol!!!
More Pipes!
I've finally wrapped up a second set of the Pipe Dream Industrial Furniture, and posted it for release next week. There should be a third set in a few weeks, with luck, revolving around the idea of a pipe-based kitchen. I may work on something else first though, as over the last week or two I've been peering at pipes until my head is spinning! And in other news, as of today my total downloads is back over the 2 million mark again. Yay!GunMod's Camera Mod
I know some of you have been having trouble locating GunMod's Camera Mod, so I thought I'd provide a direct link to the thread so you won't have to go searching for it at Modthesims2.The Camera mod will allow you to view the entire neighbourhood, right to the edges, so you can use the whole map. Without it you can only view the centre of the map. That's not to say you have to have the mod, I'd suggest trying the neighbourhood without it first & then if you do decide you want to view more, then download the mod.
I use Gunmod's Camera Mod 3.1A & I just use the "Neighborhood Camera" & the "Live Camera" as I find it gives me more scope to take snapshots without having to go into the free camera mode, using the "Tab" button.
Here's a link to the mod: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=97642
Have fun!
Love & Hugs
