The Long Winter Past
Well the worst winter I can recall has finally come to an end it seems. There were so many power outages I can now safely say that I can indeed survive without electricity. It's boring as all heck, but can be done. And finally I can get back to creating! This first item I was actually inspired to make after seeing some captures msbarrows made of a gas station/convenience store with a retro feel to it that she had made. It was a really cool building and set, but she didn't appear to have anything to dress up the counter. And so I got the idea to make this candy rack, filled with classic 50's and 60's candy bars.
I'm working on one for gum also.
Two new set previews
I've uploaded two new set previews for the Manor House Collection. They are in-game shots of the first part of the Architectural set (interior pieces).
Once I finish the exterior pieces, I'll begin uploading the actual sets for download (yay!).
Until then, I have one more set to upload, the Serendipity Living Room.
Hopefully I'll be ready to upload that by next weekend.
Lakeside Lodge... finally!
Hello, I'm still around. February was hectic but I have new lots on the way during March. :)Here's some details of the Lakeside Lodge lot, which is out tomorrow. There's plenty of room for any size family in this lot:

This is the top floor. I've used dark floorboards on areas that Sims can access. The light wood areas show parts where the roof is too low:

Here's the ground floor:

And finally, here's the basement - which is huge - I've left up to you to best divide it up to suit your Sims' needs.

Hope you'll like it!

MALICE IN WONDERLAND
Errrrrrr! So it's more complicated than I expected and I'm a tad bit lost in Wonderland. No one said it was going to be easy! A first time journey never is. I admit, PS has me suppressed right now and I'm badly bruised. Yet, I WILL subdue! Someone, WAKE ME UP INSIDE! ~Evanescence
Whaddaya like?
It's time to close my latest poll, with 263 respondents (thank you!). Lots of valuable information for me and other custom content providers.I was particularly surprised by how much the quality of the preview pictures influences your decision on whether to download or not. This factor even beat out subscriber/non-subscriber. Thinking about it, though, I realize that it makes sense that an artist who's creative and meticulous about their creations will also be that way about their preview shots.
Another surprise was how many "older" players there are. Fewer than 20 percent of those responding were under age 18. Goes to show you, this is far from being just another "kid's game."
Here are the final results:
Question: What is your age bracket?
19.01% (50) Under 18
28.52% (75) 18 to 25
25.86% (68) 25 to 35
13.69% (36) 35 to 45
9.51% (25) 45 or older
Question: What do you prefer to download (check all that apply)?
74.9% (197) Clothing
34.6% (91) Lots
37.26% (98) Build items (doors, windows, stairs, etc.)
27% (71) Floors, walls and terrains
67.68% (178) Furniture and furnishings
64.26% (169) Hair, makeup, etc.
17.87% (47) Complete or Celebrity Sims
Question: Do you prefer to download sets or individual items?
73.76% (194) Sets
23.57% (62) Individual items
Question: What would keep you from downloading (check all that apply)?
49.81% (131) Poor quality previews
60.84% (160) Too many meshes required, or have to go to other sites to download meshes
43.73% (115) Subscriber only items
7.98% (21) Not SA or FA - I think they're higher quality
72.62% (191) Personal taste - just don't like the style, color, etc.
Again, many thanks to those of you who took the time to respond to the poll. I hope it was fun for you!
Welcome!
Hello, my friends and guests! Here is my new minisite. You are welcome! :)
I'm glad to make items for you. Thank you very-very much for your comments, for your attention and for downloading! It means so much for me and makes me happy! :)
Have a nice day!

Yay!
I finally got enough Kudos for upgrading my profile to a minisite. I've not been very active in uploading here lately, but hopefully it will soon change. There is just so much going on in RL at the moment.Okay...this is just weird!
**Updated 2/29** I guess I was right the first time. It appears that Xmsims has a new site, so that means I have to update my links after all...**queenie sighs**... Ah well...I guess I have a job to do (lol). I'll try to get it done a.s.a.p. In the meantime, the homepage link is still the same if you'd rather not wait: http://xmsims.com/sims2/ehtm/main/index.htm<2/20> Well, I was about to fixed the links for my xmsims hair colors when I discovered that they're working again!(lol). I guess it was some error or something? Well either way everything's back to normal and that's good to know (saved me a bunch of trouble, didn't it?)
Hugs,
queenie
**Major Composter Update**
Due to the fact that my original composter didn't allow for the use of the accumulated compost to be used on a garden plot because Maxis have linked the Plot to the Composter Guid, I have had to change my guid so it now overwrites the Maxis Composter. To get the Maxis one back just delete my Mesh.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused...
You can find the Updated sets here Mesh Set , Recolour Set
