WOW! SURPRISED!

As I logged on today, I was really shocked to find my 'Groovy RETRO Bedroom Set 2' featured on the front page! I mean, I was already getting used to having some of my lots featured (and still, that is a big thing for me considering the incredible number of talented creators here in TSR), but having a recolor set featured was a WHOLE DIFFERENT THING! I mean, recoloring isn't really my thing, and there are many much better recoloring artists than me, so this is REALLY a big deal! Thanks so much TSR!

Introducing my new family member

Its been two long months sine we said good bye to our beloved Magenta. Since then our house has seemed extremely empty without her following me around all day long. Initially I was not interested in getting another dog as I did not want to �replace� her, however my kids have been begging us to reconsider and I could see how much they needed a puppy to love and play with. My husband and I eventually agreed and after many hours of research we decided on getting a Dalmatian puppy. We were very lucky to find a lady selling pups just around the corner from where we stay and when we went to look at them I just fell in love with a little lady that has one blue eye and one brown. Needless to say she came home with us the same night. We have named her Blue and she has settled beautifully. She has already been for her first set of inoculations, chewed up all the fingers and toes in the house and stolen the hearts of everyone she comes into contact with. I had Dals growing up and know how excitable they can be so we have already found a local puppy school and will be taking her for training early in the new year. Welcome home Blue!

Sims Artist Union's site is down (update)

**11/14/07 Hey guys. I honestly don't know what's going on with SAU's site because for the past few days it's been down again. I'm so sorry this is making it hard for some of you to get the mesh for my formal hair mesh. Seeing that SAU's site is this unstable, I won't be coloring anything from that site again. I just wanted to let you all know that I am aware of the link not working for the mesh and I really wish there was more that I could do

11/07/07 Update: SAU's site seems to be working now. So you all can get the mesh for my formal hair colors.

SAU's site has been down for a few days now. SAU is now affliliated with Wicked Nouk Family Sites and NoukieSims left a notice on their site that they would be down for maintenance for a while. So I'm assuming all of Wicked Nouk is down also.

Out of respect for the original creator, I WILL NOT give out any meshes for any of the colors I've created, including SAU. As soon as the site is up and running, I'll let you all know so that you can get the mesh for my formal hair if you need it. Or if I find out whether SAU has their mesh elsewhere, I'll let you know.

Select Artist (SA)

To be a featured artist or even a select artist would be so cool ;]

Seriously, I can't make photos of my lots to save my life. :P No, I'm not talking about screenshots---yeah, I know how to do that. But to make all those cool collages and things that everyone else does... I'm a total idiot when it comes to these kinds of things. I tinker around because I don't know what on earth I'm doing. Hence, the really awful, snicker-worthy photos I've created of my upcoming lot "Marcoset Farm". So, forgive me! I promise this is one of the better lots I've created, at least recently. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, and I hope that it will be something you'll enjoy playing!

New updates coming!

Hi everyone! First, thank you all for your comments!
I really, really appreciate it! I'm glad you are liking my little work :-)

Also, I wanted to say how sorry I am for the so few updates since the begginning of September. As you may have guessed, I'm really busy between school and work and life! With little free time I have, I usually play the sims or write the new updates on my legacy.

But, the good news is, I have new updates coming! Toddlers dresses and more! I hope you'll be pleased by those too!

So Much Talent!

I've been browsing some of the lots here at TSR and I have come across so many beautiful lots, not too mention, very, very talented artists! I am increasingly amazed at the architecture of some of the lots and I always wonder, "How did they do that?!" I am a big fan of srgmls23 and the architecture there on his profile. Take a minute and check out his site here on TSR and you'll see what I mean. I also want to take a little time here to express to the other very talented lot builders how big of an inspiration they are to me, and how I strive with every single lot of mine to make it more interesting than the one before. I can see how I've grown in my own right as a builder and can only thank the other builders here for my ever-increasing need to "fine tune" my talent and creativity. It's a bit of a challenge for me, if you will, to be as good as those around me, and I can name so many artists who have taught me SO SO much just by example (and it didn't hurt to ask, how did you do that?)....Tiko, dinad2610, iZazu, srgmls23, hatshepsut, MonteBoy24, Pinecat, Madisim, Alyosha, Huabanzhu...and I can probably name so many more. Thank you so much everyone!!!!

I can't tell you how happy I am to be part of the Select Artist family! As some of you probably know already, we were allowed to have our first theme week here on TSR. ....and i am back online

Hello again,

With quite a delay, I am back online, well the computer has been online since august, but our roof was falling off, so we spend all our days, evenings and even nights setting up a new roof, as we never tried it before (in game doesn't count in the real world - I got that after the second day :) ), it was quite a job, and still is, but what can you expect, 2 nerds trying to be handy - it takes many hours reading, putting up roof, taking down roof and putting it up againg :) but now we got it - we think :D and I am back.

Thank you all for your sweet comments on my work, I have tried to whrite back to most of you, but if i missed, thank you!!! i really appriciate that you take your time to leave feedback.

SA RETRO THEME WEEK!
