Chapter 20: The Lost Son

I uploaded chapter 20. It might seem short and not so in-depth but I think as of now I am only touching lightly on each of the PV characters and their lives while Cassandra was gone. We'll learn more if it goes with the storyline. This is more about Cassandra than any other character.

OK so it�s official, the Legacy will remain on hiatus. And So You Want would go into hiatus as well. The TC63 Sanita will be finished and submitted as scheduled and if I have enough time before November kicks off, hopefully finish a request bedroom set as well that I�ve already started. What I�ve done this time is signed myself up for NaNo Writing. I�m not sure whether I could pull it off or not; I haven�t even planned for this. It just � well, sort of happened. I tend to drag my feet when it comes to writing because of plot points, details-details-details, and a gross amount of editing before I get very far, which of course usually means I don�t get very far before I get bogged down by it all. Hopefully, NaNo would give me a much-needed exercise so wish me luck in getting up to my 50,000 words!

And YAY!! on reaching 100,000 downloads! Thanks to everyone who has downloaded my creations. It wouldn't have been possible without you and knowing that a lot of you are enjoying them in your game (hopefully! LOL) definitely makes it all worthwhile!

Bamboo Bay Update

After reading a comment by Tabbylou about there not being an Endtable in the set I decided to add one and you can find it here Bamboo Bay - Endtable it has an extra slot so you can place items on the lower part, also the Collection Files have been updated to include the Endtable so you will need to download the set again Bamboo Bay and just install the new collection files over the old ones.

Upload at last!

Here goes a new upload - Little Blue House. It took me some time, but please, understand my situation right now... I'll try to manage time better as to find some for Sims, but right now till the Absurdal Art Festival I have so much to do... and University also fights its rights... As for me, I start getting the feeling it's not exactly how my life was supposed to look like while finishing studies... To begin with the complete mistake with studying this subject... I wanted to be a Japanese Philologist, Fantastic Not-Only-Fashion Designer, Mediterranean Archeologist... I had so many plans, all of which failed. Now I do admire people who just decide - it's not for me, I decide to stop studying a boring subject and go to UK to work just to find out my way. I couldn't do it. I'm not able to. I'm too weak. I admire brave people. Funny that once I considered myself as one... while I'm a fucking coward. And I can do nothing about it... Sad and depresed, Hannah

New Stuff Soon!

It's been a while, but soon I hope to have a bunch of new stuff!

First: the High Life Living Room Set! Then, I will release the Simplistic End Table set and lastly the Modernish Kitchen Set. I don't have any previews right now, but I hope to have some for you soon!

Also, I hope to release some new houses soon!

A brief apology

I'd just like to make a quick apology here for not updating as much as I should have lately! I was ill at the end of last week, didn't feel up to much, and I took extra hours at work this week to try and make up for the time I'd missed. Anyway, normal service will be resumed as of tomorrow, once my fianc�'s young cousins have left, and I can get working on a project which I hope you will all enjoy! I also have next weekend off, and that following Tuesday and Wednesday, so I will have plenty of items out by Thursday 15th, with some luck!

Additional OpenMe doors

Coming soon - a set of doors that match OpenMe doors and windows from Nightlife Expansion Pack. Thanks to knightguy82 for the idea of a glass door! Wow! Front page at last!

What a sweet surprise this morning as I settled in, bleary-eyed with coffee mug in hand, to "mission control" (alias my little nook in the living room where my computer lives). There in my guestbook was a message from my buddy Tigerblue, congratulating me on having one of my submissions ( Nightlife Slant Hem Dresses for Elder Females ) featured on TSR's front page!

This is a real honor. The best of the best showcase their work here on TSR, and to be granted a place in the same spotlight is a genuine rush. I especially want to thank BlackGarden for her superb tutorial on "How to Extract Sims from Screenshots". I've been having a ball playing around with her technique and Photoshop's special effects, and I love the energy I can get into my previews now with action shots of my Sims.

I'm extremely gratified by the response my recategorization of these Maxis clothing sets has generated. I'm glad that so many of you feel, as I do, that EA/Maxis has really fallen down where elder Sims are concerned. Those of us who've seen more than three decades go by know that life doesn't end with the first gray hair. It really can get better, richer and more fun as time goes by!

Thank you everyone, for your support and encouragement. I do love The Sims and this community is a big reason why.

Maxisland Castle

I finished a castle last night. The immensely talented hatshepsut gave me a great tip to make the bridge look better, so I want to thank her again for making this lot much better than I thought it could be. The lot is still in the upload section, so I appreciate any constructive criticism!

And we meet again...

My mini site was down for a while. I had a period of being lazy and non-creative and after some time I've found out that my minisite was canceled. Rightly deserved.
I've been more active lately, and plan to continue to create all sorts of stuff for my beloved Sims. So I bought back my minisite with kudos and now we meet again.
