Blog Post #2
Hi there my lovelies!,
It's been a while since I have uploaded my first creation and it still surprises me that I have received so many wonderful comments! It really makes my Simming experience even more rewarding knowing that I can create something worthwhile for others and not just myself!!
I have almost finished my second week back at school and I'm loving it! I, being a complete nerd, am enjoying the challenges that I'm faced with after picking Triple Science! So far I have stuck to my 'do your homework as soon as you get it' plan but there's still plenty of time yet. Hopefully my procrastinating ways won't catch up with me...
I am really enjoying the Sims 4 and when it was delivered I was absolutely ecstatic. I have to say, Im disappointed that create-a-style- is no longer an option as it was one of my favourite evolutions going into TS3. I miss having the option of completely colour co-ordinating my rooms. As I'm sure some of you have noticed, I would almost say I have OCD tendencies when it comes to colour schemes! Im not so sure about the camera options as I have been spoilt with the wide variety of camera angles being a Sims 3 builder, hopefully we will see a patch coming soon. Besides these minor points, Sims 4 build mode is good, but I'm not sure whether or not it's that much of an improvement on Sims 3 in terms of convenience. I'd love to hear some of you guys' tips and opinions?
Thanks for reading, have an amazing weekend you amazing people. Thanks once again for downloading, it means so much! New creation at the weekend methinks!

Sims 4 is here!
Okay, okay... so I'm a litlle bit late to the party!
Truth is, I was on prac teaching at a local school when the game came out, so I had to wait a week until I could play it. And even then, I think I played with a family for all of two days (in between study, of course) before I dived straight into build mode. Since then, I've been constucting houses in between every lecture and assignment, so you'll be seeing a fair bit from me in the next few weeks!
So far, I'm liking the new build mode. The tools were kinda clunky at first, but I'm getting used to them now and they're almost convenient. I am DEEPLY missing a few things, though. Not having pools or garages is making it difficult - these are things I used to incorporate into nearly every house! I'm a little disappointed to not have create-a-style anymore, and I feel like it makes decorating very boring; all of my interiors look the same (I apologise for that, I'm not very imaginative when it comes to the inside of houses... exteriors are where it's at). And the lack of building cheats is super frustrating! I never realised how much I relied on "constrainfloorelevation" and "moveobjects" until they were gone...
I am currently working through my sketchbook of old house designs from the Sims 3, trying to see what I can recreate in the new game. However, I keep getting distracted by new ideas, so it might be a while before I get a lot of those out.
That's all from me for now, folks. If you have any requests, feel free to PM me and I'll give it my best shot.
Happy simming!

Just too funny...
Awhile ago, I received the Sims 3 Ambitions EP. I started playing around with it when I was testing one of my recent lots and, of course, I chose the Architectural Designer profession. One of my first jobs was to remodel a bathroom. The owner said that the previous occupant had terrible taste! I thought, "Great! It wil be fun to redo one of EA's designs." Imagine my surprise when I visited the lot and found out it was one of the houses I built...one of my favorites actually and I thought the bathrooms looked great!! So I did what any self-respecting vengeful diety would do...I evicted the fool and sent him and his whole ungrateful family to the rubbish bin!!!
Huge thank you !!!
Although I usually never write anything in my blog I have to thank you all for these wonderful creations I am allowed to use ! You make The Sims 3 really interesting - even after many years- because the things that everybody can download on TSR make the game so colorful! I admire your creations and creativity! Thank you :)
Thanks to the TSR Team too:) You have a great website !!!

My lots for Sims 3
Hey Simmers
I have had a couple comments lately asking if I could be more elaborate when decorating my lots. There are a couple things I keep in mind when I build...
My lots I try to keep them simple and easy to play. Nothing worse than a huge house where you cant see what your toddler is up to
LOL. I try to keep file sizes down as I like to use custom content.. so most lately are only partially furnished. to keep them from being super huge files. Nothing worse than a house that has a 46 mb file size ... and takes forever to load or even crashes some ppls games.
If I could decorate them the way I would like I sure would!!
I try to keep walls all neutral.. as if .. like in real life.. you are moving into a house.. all taupe and other neutral colors and then you can re decorate the way you want.
So there you have it.... my lots will always be easy to play... and the odd lot I have fully furnished only when I have used alot of EA content instead of Custom Content.. as the EA stuff is low in polygon counts so does not make the lot file huge.
TSR wont allow lots of more than 50 mb... which is actually great as .. usually a big lot will take a long time to load or even crash some ppls games.. depending on the type of computer the player has.
I appreciate all those who download my lots... I hope you and your Sims enjoy them as much as I enjoy building them . ( My Sims tend to live in my own houses too... due to the easy to play factor :)
Happy Simmming!
