Summer Sets and More

Before the summer ends, I have begun work on some summer themed sets, starting with The Summertime Kitchen set. This set is in an antique white (yellowish tint) with orange and some yellow colored objects. This set also features one new mesh- a new smoke alarm.

After this set, I will release a set that is just recolors of the smoke alarm. Also, I have been working on a new staircase mesh which will be a set and its recolors.

Bannoch Village: Goblin Cottage

Large, large cottage on a small lot. Great for a big family .... at least 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Still plenty of room to add on if needed! I was able to finish this lot on and off between my reading of the latest Harry Potter book (The Deathly Hallows) ... I am only half way through the book and I am enjoying it so much. It hasn't hit me yet that this will be the last book in the series ... And ... I see that I must start planning some community lots ... I thank everyone who has taken my latest survey ... it does help to know what you want! I, of course, am one of those that 'cheat', so I really haven't thought too much about community lots ... but I will now. Goblin Cottage ....

Zakk - Again!

I know a lot of you have been asking how Zakk our not so little rescue dog has been getting along... When we got him, we were told that he was probably about 8-12 weeks old because of his size... since we began taking him to the vets, it turns out that he was probably about 15 weeks. Due to him not being fed he probably stopped growing along with getting thinner. but his teeth and exam showed his true age. We have had him for about 4 weeks now, hes had all his jabs (he may have had them already but we dont know)but he has gone from 10.5kg to 16kg in a few weeks;. Hes doing really well, hes more or less stopped piddling all over my pink (yes pink.. not my chioce, they came with the house)carpets.. Well, thats a good excuse as any to rip them up and get some nice wood floors instead (although i think i might be pushing the overdraft with the �52 per sq metre Solid dark oak stuff at B&Q at the mo!) Anyway... this is the not so little new picture of Zakk:

COME TO MYKONOS!

I have been working on this almost to months. I wanted to bring a real Mykonos feeling and
these of you who have seen the Greek Mykonos Island's pics you know what I mean. I needed
a few greek signs so I had to create (recolor) the CCs I have used in it. It is a
community lot almost 5MB with restaurants, openair markets, cafes, disco, pool... even
rooms to let!... It is built in different levels with no hacks. I am proud of the result

and I really have fun "walking" my sims into it.

After months of threats, I am, finally about to release my 2nd recolour. Big thanks, Hugs n stuff to P who has put up with my incessent whining, questions & general whittering. I hope ive done the set justice!

Just Curious...

Hi, I was thinking of having a small 'Flip this house' Challenge. I was just curious if there was any interest in that! There wouldn't be any prize or anything...just for fun. I was throwing around the idea of this type of challenge strictly for my downloaders/fans!
I also welcome lot builders at any experience level. This could be a great learning experience! I would set up a thread in the forums so we could exchange pics. There would be a start and end date. There will be more details if there is an interest.

If this sounds interesting please reply here and depending on the amount of interest, we'll see...I'll give 1 week for responses.

Update

That time again (before I get lost to Harry Potter). I'm uploading some new walls today as promised. I noticed I hadn't upload my wall tiles v2. Oops! I uploaded those floors quite some time ago. Sorry about that!
It will take about 4 days for them to be approved and published.
