TC50
Well, if you've been to the front page, you know that this is a big week for the Texture Challenge Forum as we celebrate our 50th texture challenge. There is a TC50 house and a community lot and much more to come during the week. I hope you'll join us in the celebration and I hope as you visit the participating artists that you'll be sure to tell them how much you appreciate their hard work. Some of these creators are only beginners and have put a lot of effort into this celebration. The things they've come up with have amazed me. I hope you enjoy our work! Have a great TC50 week!Toddler Water Land
I am working on a new project. A little theme week "Toddler water land". I have made a story about it and will release the objects for the water park during the week. It is not quite finished but I hope I will have it upp when I comes back from my vacation.

Tribute To Atwa
On April 17, 2006 a Challenge was issued: A game started by the wonderful and talented Laprin of Sims1, in the Skinning Forum here at TSR. I am attaching a texture and hope that willing recolor artist will create an object using that texture. ~ DOTWould anyone respond? One, two, three, four.Less than eight hours later the challenge was on! At 6:54 a talented young artist by the name of Atwa just had to have a go.
As the artists began to create, something happened that no one could have predicted. Objects were being produced that were too good to keep to themselves. Atwa asked in excitement, Shall we all submit our work maybe???
The group loved the idea, but how would they do it? When submitting, maybe we should call it similar so we can point to all the creators...? A name perhaps we all can use? she suggested.
Everyone loved the idea. Sww-sww-sww wondered aloud, Texture challenge? Or something like that? Atwa ran with it Yes, sounds good. And after uploading her sets she announced, I went with the "Texture ChallengeThis was fun.... "
As the weeks went on real life began to take its toll. Computers began to crash and artists became distracted. But Atwa trudged along, sometimes single-handedly, and kept the Texture Challenge alive.
Did her dedication and perseverance pay off? On March 7, 2007, almost a year later, she told this ever-growing group I have an announcementWe have now a new category in themes.
This week, because of Atwas perseverance and endurance, Texture Challenge is proud to release its 50th texture. To show her our appreciation the newest members on this team have dedicated 6 individual sets comprised of 4 of her vase meshes re-colored in all 50 textures released to date.
Atwa is a kind and patient person who is supportive and willing to give honest feedback. She takes feedback as graciously and openly as she gives it. She helps creators old and new with their questions. If she doesn't know an answer she generally can point the questioner in the right direction. She is always a pleasure to talk to and her creations are highly anticipated.Thank you, Atwa!
Show her your appreciation by taking the time to add these lovely meshes to your game. You will want to drop by Atwas mini-site for more of her creations. Be sure to stop for a moment and give her a bit of feedback on her works or even just leave her a guestbook message to say hi! She will appreciate it and so will we.
Bannoch Village: Wilkie Cottage
I forgot I had this cottage in my building neighborhood ... and finally finished it off. You will find this cottage to have lots of weedy looking plants about. You may want to hire a gardner ... or just dispose of a few...
Coming soon....
I've just finished a new set of towels Candy Striper Towel Collection. I may make matching rugs, but haven't decided yet.
Rennie Mackintosh style floor tiles
This is my first ever set of floor tiles. This is a set of ceramic floor tiles inspired by the beautiful art nouveau designs of Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh, which I love. The rose features frequently in his work and I've used roses in 5 of the 6 tiles in this set.
Update
Hi all!I've uploaded the Mission Recliners. Usually takes about 4 days for approval so look for them around Thursday. Enjoy!

Bannoch Village: Chloe Cottage
A very small cottage. Simple design but has some nice new wallcoverings. This might be the last in this series for a while. I have been working on some new designs for a possible new series of lots. The progress is going very slow since I am trying (*sighs*) to master some new skills and techniques which involve bridges. So please be patient. Chloe Cottage (named in honor of my new Papillon puppy. Chloe at 11 weeks is keeping me very busy, too! She's a little firecracker!)...
