Back!

I just got back from vacation and had a great time with my two little nephews. I am ready to resume my current project which was placed on hold while I was gone. I hope to have it finished and up by this weekend.

Kitchen 01

These are nice two-toned walls with a simple white trim. Looks great in the kitchen, but will work well in other rooms of your Sims home. A simple, clean must-have for your Sims. Kitchen 01 in Blush: and Kitchen 01 in Hosta: Floors to be uploaded in the near future. Have an AMAZING day!

Stairs, stairs and more stairs

It seems that I'm only able to build stairs. Since I knew that Select Artists were allowed to participate in the Marine Theme Week, and I saw the great stuff that was going to be published, it came to my mind that a folding staircase could be nice for lighthouses or those lots that resembles a boat. So I googled "folding stairs" and found images of how they looked like. It took me a while to mesh them, and there's no way that I can make the animations working (that would need a much smarted artist than I am), but I think that they turned out well in the end. They will be published tomorrow, with some wooden and some metal recolours; please, let me know what you think about them.

Toddler Move Toy

After a lot of fiddeling with slots and animations a managed to get this toy car that moves back and forward for toddlers. It adds fun and Mechanical skill. The toddler will climb upp and down and ride on it when playing.

Going on Short Sabbatical

For personal reasons, I have decided to go on a short sabbatical. I will not be creating anything new for at least two weeks with the possibility of as long as a month. I have uploaded and set all of my finished work to date for release in the coming days so you will have some things from me in the interim.

You will more than likely see me lurking in the forum or get a comment/guest book entry from me if you have commented on my work, as I will still be around daily to check on things and communicate with friends.

I simply need a break to work some things out & get my head on straight.

Billabong Wetsuits

I've been thinking a lot about what to make for Marine Week, and here's what I eventually came up with: a set of ladies' shorty wetsuits in eight colour combinations (including, of course, pink!)



These wetsuits can be worn by adult and young adult females and use a standard Maxis mesh (no expansions, stuff packs or downloads required). I've categorised them under swimwear.

I didn't manage to fix the problems I encountered after installing the Celebration! Stuff Pack, but the bump maps did reappear after I uninstalled it. However, in the process I have lost all my neighbourhoods including even the default ones so I think I'm going to have to reinstall everything from scratch. I can't believe a stuff pack could cause so many problems! My theory is that the problem resulted from installing Celebration! out of order as I don't have any expansion packs installed more recent than Nightlife.

Coming Soon

I know that a bathroom was the overwhelming winner of my last poll, but it's not coming together well. I've yet to find a bathroom set that not only inspires me, but flows together well as a whole set and is simple enough for me to make. I was working on the Anna bedroom from the previous poll before my hard drive failed on me. When that happened, I lost that entire folder. I'm not sure when/if I'll redo everything from that set. So as for now, I'm working on the Pablo Collection. I'll be doing it separately, though. I'm finishing up the couches from my living room set that I started long ago, and I'll be adding pieces from the Pablo Collection to it. Then I'll finish up the bedroom set and add the rest of the pieces from the collection to it. Here's a little teaser of what's to come: Oh, and one more thing regarding the last poll ... I was surprised at how close wanting master/slave files to not wanting them was. I personally prefer not doing them, so that is what I'll continue to be doing for the majority of the sets from now on. However, the seating from the above set will be master/slave. However, I'm trying to get Thomas to include a way to have two versions of one object in the next version of the site. If that happens, I'll be uploading files the way I have been in the past with an alternate that will not only be master/slave, but also updated for the latest expansion.

The Black Statue... This time it REALLY is serious!

Because of the very tight schedule I have right now, work on the fifth chapter is VERY VERY delayed... but, as I told you before, I WILL FINISH WHAT I STARTED! Maybe around the month of september to october, i will get to work on it again...

*sigh*

I know what you're thinking, two more months to wait...

But here is a promise... the long wait will be worth it!

Greetings from Prague !

Thank you all, who wrote me a lot of beautiful comments on my creations, I am glad, you like them and I promise I'll upload some new items as soon as possible. I'm working on a few special floors and walls, it'll be a small summer update, but better small than nothing .... I have still a lot of work in my business, now I'm preparing with my friend some new models for a little autumn fashion show. We make clothes of natural materials especially flax and silk. I am going to make some of our creations for Simmies, I hope you'll like them. So, have great summer time and ..... see you soon !

Nautical

I've created something for the Nautical/Marine Theme: a boat where sims can really sit in, including a version that can be used on lots with neighborhood water (ocean lots). And also some build material to build your own lighthouse with round walls. Yes, round walls! The walls will go down with the normal walls, so you can see your sims inside the building and see them climb their way up to the top, where they can freely walk around. Including also a lighthouse light, that spins around. I still need to finish a few details for these creations, so they will be published at the end of the week, probably thursday or friday.
