Plodding Along - New Poll
Haven't gotten very far with my Solander Kitchen links, but I'm trying.I got tired of the old poll and put up a new one.
Here is the results from the last one.
Question: Which expansion packs are you currently playing with?
None - Base Game only
8.91% (27)
University
59.74% (181)
Nightlife
58.42% (177)
Open for Business
54.79% (166)
Family Fun Stuff
36.3% (110)
Glamour Life Stuff
41.58% (126)
Pets
55.45% (168)
Happy Holiday Stuff
30.69% (93)
Seasons
74.26% (225)
Seems most everyone has Seasons and not so many have the stuff packs. Interesting results. Anyway the new poll is about the kind of wood you like in your rooms (and one question about fixtures). So here's a new opportunity for kudos and I'd love to know what you think. I appreciate everyone who took the last poll. These polls have shaped a lot of the content you see and will continue to do so.
If a poll sparks a different idea, don't be afraid to PM me or send a guestbook entry and let me know. Can't guarantee I'll adopt every suggestion, but I'll certainly listen. Thanks again!
Welcome :)

Where To Get The Sleeveless Princess Dress
There was a mesh on this site that I loved, and I believe it was made by Neptunesuzy--it was a sleevless, long-skirted dress for little girls. I made many recolors of that mesh, and always got a great reaction to it...and then it just up and disappeared one day. I've done numerous searches for it (mostly because I had my recolors of that mesh linking up to a non-existant url, and people were not too pleased about that). Not too long afterwards, I decided to create my own sleeveless dress mesh...but the method I wanted to use (cutting the OFB dress off in the middle, and attaching it to the little girl's sleeveless top that comes with the base game) was harder than I thought it would be...mainly because there was a transparent gap in the middle, and no matter what I did--aligning normals, extended manual edits, etc., that gap still existed. Well, I finally figured out how to cure the problem last night, and have uploaded the sleeveless dress mesh onto my site. Not to worry, the mesh (and recolors) are free, and I have no problem with others recoloring, as long as they link back to it at Simphany.com
Here is the direct link to it: Simphany's Sleeveless Dress Mesh For Little Girls
I will be remaking the dress for toddler girls as well (both with and without puffy sleeves) so stay tuned =)
And to all you brand-new graduates out there...

The Bedroom Sets!
Very soon, I will begin uploading the bedroom sets! I am nearly finished with the Onyx bedroom set. Each of these sets will have at least 9 objects- 1 double bed with bedding, a single bed, and more. These sets will also require the Open For Business and Seasons expansion packs. The first set will be the Onyx Bedroom, followed by the Crme Bedroom set, and the Sapphire and Ruby Bedroom Sets.
I may add a couple of more objects to each set before I begin uploading, but the wait is almost over!
PS: The Seasons Set 4 has just been published, and I hope that you all enjoy it! I think it turned out great!
That's it for now
Happy simming!

Oops...
Yeah, about the xtra-uploading thing with 60,000 downloads and such. It will be delayed until at least the 30th of May.Finals for school are around this time, so I really picked a bad time. Oii. So, don't worry, I'll be uploading, just not at this time.
Wish me luck on finals! Thanks!

Snuffles....
Ok.. Ill admit it, I have no idea who the heck snuffles is either, it was just one of those random entries i made to make my blog sound half interesting! I admit is was a feble attempt at making myslef, the ole Mistress seem Multi Faceted, because you dont know me!! I could be a Barbie affiliate, I could have an un-natural love of the colour Pink, I could Have a house filled with floral fabrics, lacey curtains, flounces, pelmets and an unholy collection of Porcelain dolls that have this habit of staring at you when you eat dinner... But I dont! so there! I have Dragons that stare at you when you eat dinner, I have a sword collection that dangles precariously on the wall behind the dinner table, my walls are a deep shade of purple, so ow you may breathe a sigh of relief - Mistress has not lost it! Heres a piccy of the kind of Dragon that frequently stares at my dinner guests...
And the thing with Pink? well, Theres an ineresting story behind my intense dislike of Pink and ruffles... maybe next time, if im feeling all charitable, i might tell you all!
My cats :)
Hi there, I've sort my pics on pc and thought I could show you some new pics of my cats ;) Here is Puschel:
And a second one, where I played around with it in photoshop
here is the original ;)
As you see Puschel is not glad to see me. Because she did an after-lunch nap.
So and here is my oldest darling - my tiger Susi:
Also I want to show you the last pics I did from the rebuilded "Frauenkirche" (church of our ladies) in Dresden, where I live. The Dresdener Frauenkirche was destroyed in the firebombing of Dresden during World War II and has been reconstructed as a landmark symbol of reconciliation between former warring enemies.
Here is a view of Dresden from a bridge at the Elbe.
And at last a view of the "Zwinger" in Dresden:

Sophia :)
Ugh! I'm sick!
I've only been home from my trip for less than a week and I've been sick with a terrible cold for the last 5 days! I can't remember when I've felt so bad. I guess being locked up on a bus for 14 hours with a bunch of kids probably caused me to breathe in some unhealthy germs. Anyway, I promise that I do have a bunch of new things to upload. I just needed to get the pictures taken. But everytime I sit down at the computer to start doing it, I feel so bad that I have to go lay down again. Here's a sneak preview of one of my new sets coming out in the next couple of days. This set includes several new meshes by me: (the sofa, chair, bookcase, TV stand and TV, and coffeetable) I've also done two recolors of this set.
And now - about radiators!
Whilst I'm on the subject of fixing things (in fact, I seem to spend more time fixing my creations than making them in the first place, though you have NO need to comment on this!)...MsBarrows pointed out something everyone else was too shy to mention: the radiators are hogging an entire game tile. Of course, I COULD make pitiful excuses about how this is a 'safety feature' so nobody is burned by getting too close to the imaginary heat these decorative objects are supposed to exude, but is what one could call a small oversight on my part...
(or blatant stupidity - of you dare!)
So, I've changed the two radiators so that they will allow sims and other objects to share the same tile and not block walkways. If you would like the revised radiators, you can find them here...

Revised: Victorian Radiator

Revised: Modern Radiator
