My next set
Well because I cannot get permission to use the NRL logos, I will not be doing this set...hopefully I will get a response and I will at that time post the set....Sorry all!Celebration x 2!
Well I have a couple of things to celebrate. I reached a long-time goal of 1 million subscriber downloads! Woohoo! Thanks to all the subscribers who have downloaded, thanked, commented and otherwise made things fun!The other thing is that as of the 14th, I will have been doing this for one year! It seems incredible! A year ago, I had not submitted a single thing. Now I have lots of creations and downloads and new friends. It's been a really great year and I hope to make next year even better!
Thanks again to you all. I'll keep on making it interesting!
Blue Screen of Death
Yes, I'm being plagued with it: the infamous Blue Screen Of Death (otherwise known as BSOD in various IT Torture forums). For me, it is a random event that lies in wait; watching to see when I'm doing something immensely critical, urgent or unrecoverable - and PUFF! My PC is, without warning, restarted with the unhelpful advice of "There has been a serious system error". Thanks - I would never have guessed! The Event log said nothing helpful but pointed me in the direction of the IT-Guru-Supreme: Microsoft. It's quite alright, apparently, this error. Easily fixed. Microsoft assures me that, if I replace my memory modules, swap the PSU, or maybe my twin CPUs, or better still, replace my motherboard, and replace each of the hard disks (oh, and to be sure, get new DVD and burner drives too, and maybe replace the IDE cables for every drive) it might be alright.
MIGHT! If I rip out the entire innards of my (relatively new) PC, it MIGHT be alright - or not.
And then they have the audacity to ask if I found their answer helpful. NO, MICROSOFT - I DID NOT FIND THE ANSWER HELPFUL!!!
Needless to say, in my continual rebuilds and tantrums, The Sims has been largely absent. But, today, I have uploaded a new lot in the ridiculously vain hope that my PC will miraculously mend itself.
May 6th, Seasons' Victorian Inspired Iceboxes
A Victorian Inspired Icebox (refrigerator) for the Seasons EP. The icebox (1 mesh and 2 recolors) are part of my Victorian Inspired Kitchen set, Part I. The Seasons' ice boxes are set for release on May 6th. Let them eat leftovers!!!
I'm still here..
I must apologise *again* for my recent abscence. I can't believe the bad luck that has happened to me, but I have been without an internet connection for over a week. This time it was not my modem, but an issue related to the cable company's equipment in the street. The reason this took so long to resolve was because initially they assumed it was just me and didn't send an engineer out for several days. Then they came and discovered that was not the case, so toddled off to look at the box outside. This was getting late in the day, and they realised it would take further investigation, so the decision was made to return the following day. *sigh*
On top of that, when I did get my connection back, it was very slow because they were upgrading the network. So now I'm finally back to normal and have a 20Mbit line as well. Which is nice, but I sometimes prefer that it had stayed at 10Mbit with no downtime.
So anyway, that's what has been happening to me. I'll be submitting some new stuff soon, so keep your eyes peeled. :D
Cavalli collection
Hi! Today I've started Roberto Cavalli collection, suppose you'll love it (as for me - I did, I really appreciate it. It look great! LOL) Here is a small preview ;)
"Select"ed!!
I could hardly believe my eyes when I logged on to TSR today, First, I saw my cottage set listed in the feature downloads. I was so excited!!! THEN...I saw the announcement for being picked as a Select Artist. Wow!!!!! Now I'm speechless! And it's Friday to boot!!I love making creations so much and this is just the icing on the cake. I am so glad that other people like them too. I try to design things that make me happy and would put in my own houses. I started doing this because I'm very particular about the way my houses look and instead of searching for what I wanted, I just decided to start making stuff myself. I started learning how to do different things and, well, here I am.
I want to say thank you to everyone in the TSR community. First and foremost, the people who visit here and download creations, you are the heart and soul of the site and if you like something I've done, then thank you and I hope it exceeds your expectations in game. Secondly, all the wonderful people who administer the site. I cannot imagine the amount of work that has to happen behind the scenes in order to keep this place going.
And a special thank you to Atwa! Thank you so much for letting me bug you and listening to my whining! You're the best!
Finally a Guitar
I have had a lot of requests to make a guitar recolor for The Sims 2. After a lot of work and a little frustration, I finally got one.I call it the Gibson Mother of Pearl guitar.
Let me tell all of you, if you download it and it doesn't show up, there is something you can do. First, buy the guitar.
Next either click on the design tool, or hit the R key.
With the design tool selected, click on only the guitar and all the options you have for color will show up. Pick the one you want like mine, and there you have it.
Now all your Sims can enjoy playing the guitar I made. I hope you all like it.
I don't know if I will do a lot more of these, they take a lot of time, but at some point I will do another
