What version of Blender do I need for making CC objects?

I've been wanting to make CC for years and doing that is confusing to learn. I haven't been able to. I knew that it needs vers 2.7, I am not sure now. I'm hoping it's now different and I can use 2.8 beyond versions. I have a few versions in 2.8, but not much difference. Just looks different, tools being slightly resuffled into a better workflow, and some new tools.

Over 10 years later, back to Sims 2

I have not really played The Sims 2 since 2009. I did bother to get the Ultimate Collection when it was offered in 2014, but I never really played it. More people seem to be returning to Sims 2 these days. There is a good sized community.

Well, I'm one of them, and I am back. I am building houses again, and of course there is stuff I need that has not yet been made. Not to mention the roughly 140 houses I made way back when and never uploaded anywhere.

I made the switch from Mac to PC recently, so now I can also do custom content. My sister used to export the files for me using SimPE, and then use my files to create the finished object in SimPE. I can do it all myself now, once I re-learn how.
