Halloween
Hi everyone!
Just a quick preview of a set that I just started for Halloween! A set that I am calling, for now, "Evil Halloween Trees" (How original! I know...)
Notice anything unusual about it? I'll give you a hint: the glow! It's the result of a material called "Full Bright" (for any other creators who might be interested) that makes things "glow". I've never seen this effect used in any Custom Content before, so I am incredibly excited at the possibility that this may be the first time! (Apologies to any creators who might have already made use of this technique, I just haven't seen it!)
There is one downside to the shiny, pretty, fancy looking effect, though, in that the glow color is NOT recolorable. Gasp! Horror! I know. I hate when things are not recolorable! The tree bark is recolorable, but everything that is orange can not be changed from within the game. To counter this tragedy, I'm thinking about maybe making multiple versions of each tree, with a different color. I'm thinking Orange, Red, and Purple. No guarantees, though! I may end up with more, or fewer colors.
I'm also highly considering taking this effect to some regular Jack-O-Lantern pumpkins, so stay tuned!
*UPDATED* Pets/Patch Beds Update
Hi all,
As you may or may not know by now, the Pets expansion pack - and it's accompanying patch(es) break the majority of Custom Content. The amazing TSR team has worked and came up with a generic "fix all" program - however, so far, we have discovered two things that it does not fix: bathtubs and beds. These have to manually fixed/updated/remade. I have several beds, and I just wanted to let you all know that I am working to get them fixed as we speak! I am hoping to have them all updated and ready for re-download tomorrow sometime. I'll post an update here when they are all ready, as well as on each individual bed/set. Check back soon!

All of my TS3 beds have been updated and the new, working files have been uploaded and published. Each file now has the "PetsUpdate" identifier in the file name, so you should be able to tell if you have downloaded the new one or not. I tested them in my game and had no problems. (Base Game, Generations, and Pets) If you run across any problems, errors, or glitches, please let me know! Happy Simming!
Kate In Canada Part 3
So here is Part 3 of my Kate In Canada set - items inspired by the wardrobe of the Duchess of Cambridge during her trip to Canada this summer. This set comprises three complete outfits, one top and one pair of jeans.
This set is a little more colourful than the previous set. It requires three meshes available at TSR and one from Just Sims 2 (which I have used previously, so you may already have it).
The four outfits I've re-created this time are as follows:
1. The navy blue Ted Baker trench coat that Kate wore for her arrival in Yellowknife on 4 July. I was a little surprised by this outfit as I felt it was perhaps a bit on the short side. There was a white dress or perhaps a skirt and blouse peeking out from beneath the coat, and NataliS's lovely layered mesh 021 from Just Sims 2 (which I also used for Kate's Epsom outfit) allowed me to reproduce this. I have categorised this as outerwear only, as generally people don't wear coats indoors! So you will need Seasons for this outfit to show up in your game.
2. Another of my favourites, the Malene Birger Bullet dress which Kate wore to visit Yellowknife on 5 July. Finding a mesh for this dress was a challenge as I was keen to reproduce the padded shoulders which are so key to the shape of this dress. The closest I could find was mesh 022 by NataliS. The shoulders are a bit more pronounced than those of Kate's dress, but I think it looks quite striking.
3. Later on 5 July Kate visited Blachford Lake, a trip requiring an informal outfit. She wore the same navy J Brand jeans and Sebago Bala moccasins that she had previously worn for the dragon boat race, this time worn with a stone military style Burberry shirt and an unusual embellished leather belt by Linda Camm. I couldn't find one full body mesh which met all my requirements for this outfit, so I ended up making the shirt and jeans as separate items. This does have the benefit that you will be able to mix and match the shirt and jeans with any others in your Sims' wardrobes. The shirt uses a base game Maxis mesh. The jeans require the Mix n Match Part 4 mesh by Simal, which unfortunately seems to suffer from the same problem I've encountered with some other alpha meshes - the 'missing insides' syndrome. However, it's not a big problem here as it only affects the lower parts of the legs of the jeans.
4. For her arrival in Calgary on 7 July, Kate wore the silk Primrose dress by Jenny Packham - possibly not the best choice, as it was very windy at the airport and the skirt of the dress was full, lightweight and floaty...She carried the gorgeous Natalie clutch which I made previously. I tried a couple of meshes for this dress and settled on T035 by Sunair. The mesh is maternity friendly, but something odd happens when you have a pregnant Sim wear it, which I've never seen before - the high heels and puffed sleeves disappear. I am guessing the mesh was based on a simpler Maxis mesh which is what it reverts to on a pregnant Sim. It is a pity that more meshes aren't maternity friendly. I encounter very few.
As always, a big thank you to the very talented meshers who allow me to re-create these real life outfits for The Sims.

News and update on my story!
this is just a little update on my next chapter thats coming out in like....tomorrow? maybe? ether tomorrow or sunday for sure.
i could have actually post it the other day but because i was freaking out of the sims 3 pets coming out i accidently deleted PAGES AND PAGES of the story and chapters i was saving up just to be prepared for the game :( fail me right?
so i'm kind of rushing and trying to re do all the seens for the screenshots again Dx what makes it worse is that my mods don't work from the new patch so its really annoying to change traits for my sims so they can make the idle i want, and also its more annoying since the new patch messed up alot of CC's that i have for some reason -_-......so..very..annoying..so theirs gonna be some screenies with random stuff under the table *palm* just ignore them lol. if anyone can tell me whats all that about and help me out on fixing it i would love you forever!! :O
and good news!
since pets came with alot of cool things i deleted that old green barn i had in the screens and build my own so i'm very excited about that and alot of cool neat looking stuff :D
i'll give everyone a heads up though, if my new screenshots are a bit dull, i'm try to focus more on the story writing than the screenie itself, even though my grammer isn't the best >.>

Sorry guys! I have been really busy at the moment, so I am going to have a little spare time to make you a lipgloss collection. 1 down 2 to go! I really hope you will like it!

Dreams? What are they? :x
It’s been two nights that i have dreamt about me getting back my ex and honestly it’s so frustrating :(...Yeah I admit, I’m not that over her TOTALLY since we broke up I think almost a year now..Why I’m still not over her TOTALLY you ask? I do not know either, maybe because I was too serious on her...Man; I gave everything to her the best that I could to make her happy ALWAYS. My friends knew how much sacrifice I did just for her and God knows how much I really love her... But I guess that’s just the way life is, at any time, everything can change even people’s feelings, I think it’s the most complex and unstable thing in the world. I have been trying my best to move on and then what? She just came in to my dreams and saying she’s wants me back? That is just so insane, I don’t want to keep my hopes up again just because of those DREAMS… I’ve had enough… It’s too painful and I don’t think I can take it anymore… every day I am hoping and praying that I would be over her soon COMPLETELY. I can say I am a bit okay now until those dreams appeared! It’s really bothersome :(… I had stopped thinking of her the past few months and just because of that DREAM it’s like I’m back to the very beginning of forgetting her. And I tell you, it’s too DAMN painful… I just thank my friends who are always there for me for they made me strong enough to face REALITY.
I just don’t get it, life took away the one I love and I have accepted it, that we can never be and then gave me that DREAM? Seriously, what are dreams? What do they represent? :(
Renoir is outside
My favorite artist is Renoir. I love him. I can not omit him. I am here with three paintings. I would rather publish any bathing girls but it is suitable more into my real bedroom. Renoir's paintings of children are also famous a I made also supporting story. It seems I will start to introduce every creation by story. I like it.
