Medieval
When I am able to afford Sims Medieval it will be great as I can start to make the kit on TSR workshop to reflect early Anglo Saxon through to late period (450AD to 1066AD).
Pic is myself and Paul Mortimer as Hlafod Merewyn and Raedwald Cyning (Lady Merewyn and King Raedwald), Paul in full Sutton Hoo kit made by Dave Roper. I am in Frankish kit.

Old Town Tales - Introduction
Old Town is the neighborhood in Sims 2 that I designed to recreate my Sims 1 families. The most difficult part to bringing all those Sims back is establishing the family trees and relationships I "assigned" to them. Before, I could get Sims to move in, and then label them what I would--brother, sister, cousin, etc.--and that would be that. This time, I have to do things a bit more carefully. How else could I get one man with four children from four different mothers, or a woman with four children from four different fathers? Or recreate the ghosts that haunted my Sims 1 homes?
As a result, I'm starting many of the families at least 1 generation back--sort of like Sims 3, except that this is Sims 2 and I'm not paying much attention at all to all the details that arose during the transition from Sim 1 to Sims 2 (e.g., Bella's disappearance, deaths of elders, etc.). So, in Old Town--for now, at least--Generation One is Gunther and Cornelia Goth's and Ginia Kat's (and Mama Hick's since it otherwise doesn't make sense) generation. Except, here they're all younger--that is, they're all adults. A few concessions I've made to Sims 2's (and Sims 3's) timelines is that Bella and Michael Bachelor are brother and sister, and Cornelia Goth is Agnes Crumplebottom's sister. One other issue: the ghosts that haunt the Goth mansion, despite what various sources say, are not going to be Bachelors, etc. Instead, they will be all Goths (as would seem more appropriate for a family estate, I would think) from the generation prior to Gunther (that is, Grandpa and Grandma would be Gunther's parents--and therefore Mortimer's grandparents, while Uncle and Aunty would be Gunther's aunt and uncle) and Gunther's generation (in this case, Cousin and Vegas are Uncle and Aunty's sons). Because I would feel uncomfortable forcing the creation of child ghosts, I will deviate slightly and have Bratty (who will be Vegas' illegitimate daughter by an unknown mother) and Boy (who will be Cousin's son through an as-yet undetermined marriage) survive and NOT become ghosts. Well, maybe later, but that remains to be seen.
Once I get all my families onto Generation Two--the generation of Mortimer and Bella, Michael Bachelor, the Roomies, the Burbs, Claire Charming, Elden Hick--I can finally start the Old Town Tales in earnest. Including adding the Maxis-made Sims families: the Mashugas, the Snootypatootys, the Jones, the Valentinos, the Maximus, and the Hatfields. And then, of course, it will be time to add in the Sims 2 families already sitting in my family bin: the Travelers, et al.
A couple of things to note, though. Whatever I wrote in this blog before...while I'll try to recreate their lives according to the entries, somethings I will change things simply because I want to avoid excessive confusion and simply because I have to. I'm not 100% sure that elders can marry adults, so I will probably change certain things there. I'm also going to have to change at least 1 family name because, not counting families that will be splitting anyway and starting separate branches (e.g., the Goth family), there will be a conflict between one of the families I made and one the Maxis made.
One new thing: with the change in child-rearing between Sims 1 and Sims 2, and the amount of time it takes, I've created 3 new families who weren't in my Sims 1 game, for the sole purpose (more or less) of providing childcare services to the other families. They'll move in to the other families' homes and help raise the babies and toddlers to childhood, at least until there's a teenager able to meet the siblings when they come home from school at 3 p.m. Then they'll move out, taking with them $20,000 when the do so, and move back into their original family homes, adding to their bank accounts a small but welcome sum.
Whether or not they ultimately get their own stories, I'll just have to wait and see. Their names, though are the Almamater family, the Foster family, and the Nanny family. The Almamaters consist of Anna Almamater and her two grown children Brian and Cheryl--Cheryl is the one who will move in and out. In the Foster family, mother Zelda has retired, but while her son Yancey will take care of her and provide for her with a salary and career, her other two children Xenia and Wyatt will be caring for other families' children. The Nanny family is big--headed by Woodhouse and Velma Nanny, and counting their six sons and daughters, Byron, Agatha, Gordon, Francesca, Lucas, and Karen. Byron, Gordon, and Francesca are the go-getters in the family, fully intent on having careers, while Agatha, Lucas, and Karen will inherit their parents' previous roles as childcare providers to others.
Although I'm not certain, I believe that the Almamaters, Fosters, and Nannys will not age the same way as the other families do...instead, I think I might have them continue to provide childcare for multiple generations. Or, I may change my mind and have them acitvely participate in the childbearing process by generating their own offspring here and there. Not sure yet, though.
And now, one last thing. Although by rights most of the elders should eventually die, I will probably end up moving them (and any other Sims I don't have a real use for) into "retirement homes." So, for example, any families that didn't have Generation One in my Sims 1 game will see their parents move out of the family homes and into these apartment complexes, out of the way, where they can live in sort of self-contained communities (maybe) or just be ignored. Or I'll let them age and pass away and their heirs can inherit. I haven't quite decided yet...but with the Apartment option, I can store them off to one side and forget about them.
So, will the family populations in Old Town explode? Will there be a real story behind Old Town's creation? When will Mortimer Goth discover the ghosts in his family's mansion? Wait and see!
3 New lots, awaiting completion XD part 2
So one eco-styled building is awaiting for other two buildings, in the last minute i understood that the cudal tower is just too simple, so i'll do something to it, so it wouldn't look so lame XD, the NYC-Stalin's building, only need just some final touches, like benches, and path on the ground. Everything else is already ready.
So three preview screenshots of them, they still have just codenames, and not normal names, because i'm a little bit out of imagination for names today, but i'll come up with something i think =)
Shield Tower
This huge masive tower (32 floors, three fully working floors: 1, 21, 32), made of concrete, with fullheight tiled glass, with shields, all over the building. IT's suits for expensive launge, or huge high-wealth VIP restaurant place, because this tower will be the heighest one playable, the other one planed, will be not playable, and will work as a rabbit-hall business-journalism office.

Shield Accomodations
This high-rise has 20 floors, also with shields all over the building. It has two flats per floor, and your flat is faced to the bridge.

Bayside Apts
It's NYC-Stalin's styed building, to match the warwick apts, it has 23 floors. huge lobby, and in fact you can have a grocery store rabbit-hole in it, using jynx rabbit-hole rugs for resdinetial lots.

So i'm still working on them. they'll be ready in 6-7 hours, +\- 4 hours.
And the re-skinning resumes!
The issues I was having have been resolved, and I am now going to be working on getting even more vehicles reskinned to various professional and college sports teams. With that in mind, I am willing to ask for suggestions of the teams you might like to see, and if you have a preferred in -game vehicle (meaning it already exists in-game) then just ask!. The main reason i am currently not offering custom made vehicles is due to the fact that with work, I simply do not have that much time on my hands.
Hope all is well with everyone out there, I look forward to seeing some of your suggestions:)
Learning to create objects!
Today I had my first stab at creating an object... having previously got as far as loading up the .pdf document, looking at the amount of work involved and closing it again :D
So, armed with the relevant programs and the awesome tutorials written by the people on this site I grabbed the bull by the horns. I would like to say I have now made a fantastic object we can all be happy with, but what I got was a little table with the woodgrain running the wrong way (even though I'm sure I sorted that!).
I have even more huge respect for the people who make the detailed lovely items for the game now, because after 1 unfinished basic table I thought my brain was going to explode!
Well tomorrow is another day, I will finish that table if it kills me...
Time Keepers Update
I've received a lot of kind feedback on my story so far, and I wanted to say thank you! As this is a book I've been working on for a while, I have sets created in my mind that I'm trying to translate into the sims so that the story makes sense to me. So right now I'm working on creating a couple of sets to ensure the story stays true to myself. However, I should be able to get chapter one out in a few days; I'm working on the last set, and all of the wonderful creations on this site are helping move the process along.
Also, is anyone interested in me uploading the characters? Let me know if you want them and I'll be sure to do so. Thanks again for all of the positive feedback! It really means a lot to me. :)

Generations! (And rambling about weddings, gushy gushy woman stuff.)
When I'm finally able to afford Generations on Monday or Tuesday...
It's going to be so super awesome! I haven't seen much of it yet but just reading about Bachelor and Bachelorette parties made me smile. When my Sims get married it's a big deal to me. I photoshop them up some Wedding invites and everything! But, these will be super awesome additions to my game to make it more realistic for me. I LOVE WEDDINGS AHHHHH!!!! I'd say about half of my downloaded content in my women's formal wear is all wedding dresses. I even have some bridesmaid's dresses and little flower girl dresses for toddlers and children. I made a wedding dress based on a Maggie Soterro dress as well as my first clothing mesh about a week ago and I'm actually very pleased with it. I will eventually put it up for download but only after I've used it for one of my own Sims' weddings. I can't imagine some Simmer out there in the world using my own first creation before I do! :P
not much here in the moment!
Hi everyone!
I'm not much here in the moment, one reason is real life(so much to do!),another is I don't do anything new, don't have the passion in the moment and alot of my friends here are not much here anymore as well!I still look for the downloads and stories but if I don't write as much in your GB,you know now why!
Building A New Home
Well... I've never submitted to TSR before, but I've been thinking about it. I've submitted to one or two other places, mainly on forums. I've even tried to submit to MTS (didn't go so well). I like to build houses, but I tend to stick to country cottages or farm houses. What can I say? I grew up around them and they're one of my favorite types of housing!
If anyone reads this, I'd really appreciate some tips on what would make my submission an excellent one. I'd also appreciate ideas on what to include and how big it should be. I'm going to try to do a CC free house (HAHAHAHAH...CC free... I'll be nuts by the end of the night).
