Hello Everyone!

Hello everyone sorry havent sumited anything lately but my computer finally died !! I have gone almost a month without a computer which means a month without siming that has been the hard part since I am addicted to creating stuff for this wonderful site. 

So thanks to my amazing parents they gave me my Christmas pressent early which happend to be a computer.. Woo Hoo thanks mom and dad!!!!!  So that means that by this weekend I am hoping to have several walls, floors and maybe a couple houses published..

I look forward to creating again I have had a lot of time to think of many things and cant wait to get them to you. So I will say bye for now so I can get to work.

Just a bug I think, as usual *sigh*

In my last blogentry I mentioned I had some trouble. Well, I tried to remove the bar from Edit town and replace it with a new one. It didn't help at all, they where still stuck there. So I removed the bar again and also removed the actual 'lot' too and to my surprise I saw some small 'ants' where it used to be. When I got in closer I saw this!

All sims still stuck! So in the end I deleted the whole thing and started a new neighbourhood!

Ha, ha...

But despite this, I really enjoy this EP.

Wow ... what can I say aside of THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH.

Some weeks ago I had NO idea of how to create new paintings or rugs or anything else. I was a registered member of TSR since I think 2006 and always admired the wonderful work here on this site. And I always wanted to become a creator, too.

Since the end of July 2010 I uploaded about 200 submissions and reached more than 150,000 downloads. And now I'm Select Artist. Oh my God, unbelievable.

Without you ... all the downloaders all over the world I wouldn't be. I'm very very very glad that so many of you like my mostly very very colourful rugs and patterns and now clothes. Also the work of my daughter Aimee (8), her first pattern attempts and her cute little house were downloaded a lot. She's always more than proud when I tell her that she has again some more downloads.

So thank you very much for all your support since July 2010.

We - me and Aimee - appreciate every single feedback.

Also thanks a lot for all the congrats so far. I will thank each one of you in a special comment in your guestbooks.

How rude!

I dare say, how rude! Just plain rude! These sims, who do they think they are? They need to be slapped around and taught some basic manners. Rude.

I know, I know. You're wondering what I'm going off about now. Well, my butler walked out on me. She just... left one night. No goodbye, no reason given, just *POOF*. She made a getaway in her fancy schmancy butlermobile and that was the end of it. I guess $1200 wasn't enough for her. I guess a deluxe private suite to sleep and bathe and have quiet time just wasn't good enough for the witch. I suppose free drinks and a giant garden weren't anything worth writing home about either. Working for a level 8 mixologist ain't bad. But nooo, she had to leave. And she didn't even say goodbye to the kids. Just left in the dark of night. Now she has some ridiculous top hat on and sparkly dress suit thingy. I invited her to one of the kids' birthday parties. What a snot.

Fine. BE that way. I promptly hired another butler. Another woman. She spazzes less over working for celebrities. So far, so good. She could work on her mothering skills though. Change the baby and feed the baby would be nice. Do laundry once in awhile. Maybe repair something. They really do little to nothing. Honestly.

OK, rant over. Phew. Unfortunately I wasn't around much this weekend so I didn't get my lot done. I'm kind of bummed. I didn't think I'd be gone all weekend but stuff came up. I have a bunch of screenshots to upload too. Didn't get that done. I hope next weekend is better. But I'm stuck at work all week first. *sigh* Woe is me.

I did play my vampire a bit at the end of last week, before I got busy. All the kids are growing up. I had 3 birthday parties in a row. They were all a blast. Tons of people come. I invite my list of people and then others come with them or just show up. Being a mixologist really helps the fun meter. At one of the parties I made a boo boo. When I clicked on the cake to pick who was to blow out the candles my computer froze for just a second and then the list was gone. Oops. Who did I pick? Turns out Jett Atkins blew out the candles meant for my toddler and progressed to young adult. Oh well. He had to be close anyway. He's been a teen since I started playing. I didn't know you could age ANYONE. I can't change my name but I can command anyone on my lot to age transition. Huh.

I'll leave you with that nugget and be off. I'm sure I'll have more to tell when I scrounge up some time to play.

The trouble I had with The Sims 3 Late Night

Hello peeps, in the last blog I wrote, I was debating on buying the Sims 3 and finishing a paper. Well I finished that paper and have sinced graduated from college with my bachelor's degree. Yeah for me! Anyways, I also bought the Sims 3 and all the expansion packs. Now her is the trouble that I experienced with the sims Late Night and I hope that this helps someone or maybe it won't.

So I bought The Sims 3 Late Night and loaded it onto my computer! That's when the trouble started. It seems that the new update for the game has done something to the sims 3 game launcher. Everytime I click out of it or click to play the game I get an error message that the launcher is not responding. So that was my first problem. Once I finally started to play the game it would crash after a minute. By this time I am frustrated and angry that I bought a game that I couldn't play. I decided to unistall all of my sims 3 games and the original sims 3 to see if that would fix it. It didn't and I can't even count on my fingers how many times I unistalled all my games and reistalled them again. By this point I am hoping mad so I go online and research and fin out that there are many people that are having the same problems with the game that I am having. I look up ways to fix the problem through recommendations that other people used to fix their game and still nothing works. I finally try one more fix, which was updating my graphics driver but it was still having problems. At this point I have given up. I turned off my computer and didn't turn it on for a couple of day.

One the third day after I had purchased the sim 3 late nigh I decided that it was never going to work, so I was going to unistall everything, however, I decided that I would try to play my game one more time and guess what.... It worked! As soon as I went in to play some random family I saved imideately, exited out, restarted the whole thing then went back in to play that family and I no longer had anymore problems playing the game. I still get the error about the sims 3 launcher but I just click out of the error message and play my game.

After going through all that I went through, I figure one of those things I used to fix it worked ( though I'm leanging more towards the updating of my driver) so now I love the new expansion pack and have been playing it nonstop since it stoped crashing. So like I said in the beginning I hope this helps anyone who may have had trouble with the new expansion like I did, if nothing else know that you were not alone. :)
