Upcoming bathroom

There is a lot of stuff going on in my private life right now, in addition to school, so I am unfortunately not able to create as much I would like to... I have been working on this bathroom for a while, but because of everything it's going to take a while to finish it.

Today I finally got a chance to work on it again! I had just almost finished the toilet, only a few bone assignments left, when milkshape crashed. And stupid as I am, I hadn't saved anything while I was working on it, so I lost everything! It just ruined my motivation to work on it more today... Gah, so annoying!

Anyway, here's a preview of what I got so far!

I haven't had much time to play.  also had a glich in the game, one of my families wouldn't load..moved them, all better.  I start working on monday!!  I'm very excited.  and a little nervouse.  new job jitters. lol.  I don't know how much free time I'll have to write or play, so the stories will be spaced out.  I do plan to keep my Legacy sim updated regurarly over at the forum.  almost time to update her,  I will be playing her soon.  can't wait for her to have her baby, though it will bring me up to a total of 68 sims...

I will keep you updated on any changes.  thanks for reading my stories.  :)

BIG News!

Okay, I have some news . . . I think I'm going to start uploading homes that are not decorated. By this I mean there will be one finished version with the interior and exterior designed fully and one version where if you download it you can decorate it yourself. I've decided to do this because I have found that I use a lot of custom/downloaded items in all of my houses. And I know it irritates me if I have to download all these objects in order to download the house! So, this is me being kind to you, the folk who like my homes but hate the long times it takes to haqve it in their game. So, that is your Christmas present, haha!

So many projects, so little time

Okay so, I just began making houses that are starting to be available for download. Of course I will still post my stories but I wanted to see how well I would do making houses. My first home is a test. I just did my second home and I have to say, I LOVE the way that it looks! It should be available tomorrow for downloads. I'm not expecting a bombardment of downloads because I just began making them but I hope to get some response if any. I am also working on chapter 4 of starting over and waiting for chapter 3 to be published. I need to find out how to edit my screenies........IDK!

The Young Legacy.

Hey,

Wow it's been ages since I've been on here, I used to come on all the time, but then Sims 3 came along, and it literally blew me away. If anyone's got Sims 3 you might understand it's pull, it is just as addictive as Sims 2, in fact even more so because of the open neighbourhood.

I feel horrible but I have to go back on my promise, I promised I would continue The Young Legacy and at the time I truly did think I would, but as you all know when Sims 2 came along it replaced Sims 1 - I could no longer look at Sims 1 and be like wow I love this game, it seemed so backward and unimpressive, and it's the same with Sims 2 now, if I see pictures of Sims 2, Sims especially, all I can see is how awkward and unrealistic they look, the grass doesn't look green and the houses look all weird.

I love CASt, and I'm used to it, to go back to not being able to drag one colour onto another object, I couldn't do that, you may think I'm weird for not being able to go back to Sims 2, I know some people don't like it and refuse to play it, well that's their choice.

I really do love Sims 3, I don't like the story telling with Sims 3 which is why I don't upload Stories to my sims 3 page, and I will admit I do miss writing about my sim families the way I did with The Young Legacy and I especially loved the comments and folllowing I found on this great site.

But as you'll all probably find out at some point, things change, and now I'm an adult and I don't Sim as much as I used to anyways, I try to, but when I had a job I barely had time to turn on the computer let alone sim, and I'm inbetween jobs at the moment, but i'm hoping that's just temporary.

You never know I might at some point load it up for old time's sake and see where the game takes me, but I can't see it happening at the moment, especially because this new laptop is still having it's overheating issues! :( I just wanted you all to know my reasons for stopping the legacy.

I upload my sim pictures to my facebook account and write captions about them similar to the legacy style humour I used, so if you want to see my Sims 3 family, check them out:

Wow didn't realise I had that many Sims albums lol! If you're intirgued about the game or love it as much as I do, feel free to check them out. You should be able to see all the images even without a facebook account I think, but most people have an account anyways so it shouldn't really matter.

New venture, No CC lots

Hi everyone who reads this lol.  I have decided to make several lots without using custom content. Some will be base game and others will be with expansions. My reason for taking this on is that I was always concerned about lot file sizes. It is easy for me to make a lot that is well over 20mb using custom patterns, terrain paint and objects.

I wasn't aware that using CC can cause problems with another players game. All my CC comes from TSR and is TSRAA only.  So far I have made 2 lots without CC and one is with expansions and the other is base game and both homes are totally different.

I plan on leaving these lots unfurnished to keep file sizes down and also let the downloader decorate with their own CC or EA store items.  I have no idea who download my lots and then get inside and strip it and then redecorate to their liking. It takes a lot of time in the design tool to change patterns on walls, cabinets and objects and since I am not doing that, I can really make many No CC lots in a quicker amount of time.

This has actually been fun then a challenge but their have been times I wish I could have used a CC pattern on something because I don't always like what EA has to offer lol.
