March 21st, Sims 2 Slipper Chair

The Vanity Fair Sims 2 Slipper Chair is a re-design or "conversion" of the Sims 3 slipper chair mesh. The Sims 2 slipper chair mesh and its 6 recolors are scheduled for publication on March 21, 2010. The brand new slipper chair design is now available for both Sims 2 and Sim 3 games!

Finished!!

Hiya everyone!!

I think I've near enough finished the Simples Table for my new set, just doing a bit more tweaking. Onto the stool next!

Oh and does anybody have any ideas for what else I should make (rugs, plant etc.) Just to finish the set off. 

I would apreciate feedback and love to hear any ideas off anybody so post a comment if you have anything to say

I know that I have not whriting on a very long time, because I have a another blogg.

Easily Distracted? Me?

Well yeah, nothings changed there *lol* Although technically I started working on these facial piercings before the door set and only stopped because I couldn't get the bone assignments to work correctly so that the piercings moved with the Sims facial expressions. So I switched to doors, only to run into the 'door disappears when opened' problem. Luckly I figured out how to fix that and, as it turned out, it was also the fix for my piercings issue too!

So yes, I'm back to the piercings since I really want them myself. It's proving to be a project that requires a little compromise on my part, as I tend to be a perfectionist *lol*

The earrings are fine, on teens they sit a little bit farther out from the head, but only in that it's noticable if your looking from behind and only then it's very slight. At first I was hoping I'd be able to make them unisex, but female heads are a little too much smaller to make this possible.

The facial piercings are where the compromise seems to need to come in. Depending on the eyebrow style that you use, as you can see from the two images in the preview at the bottom, the eyebrow ring will not sit the same for all. So I have positioned it in the middle to average it out. So with some eyebrows it will be a little low and others a little high. But this was the best I could figure out. The lip ring is fine.

I am using the Right Earring and Left Earrings to clone from, my multiple earring assigned to one and the facial piercings assigned to the other so that there will be more flexibility in putting combinations together.

And this is probably the most boring blog I've written yet *lol*

ETA: I tried making a 'bridge' piercing, but found that about 50% of the time it ended up hidden inside the Sims nose. Assigning to the bridge or the nose didn't seem to make any difference in this. I think it is due to there being two sliders at work in that region of the face, bridge width and nose width, and unless your Sim has an average width for both it doesn't work well. Thus my not including it in my set.

Well I've been a busy bee...

I am dissappointed in myself that I cant keep continuing to upload my creations, having an engagement party an 18th and a 21st Birthday party to plan all in the first 3months of the year I am feeling the stress... along with my new workload from staff shortage I am stressed to thy max!!

Just found out I have endometriosous. If you under 16 dont bother looking into it... But some older woman may know what it is... causes me lots of pain... =S Unfortunatley the doctor is baffled why I am in pain all the time consdiering the "Hormone Therapy" medication us girlys take everyday (wink) should stop it... I've been having rough nights as its been getting worse...

Anyway, it has stopped me creating, not that I think anyone reads this, simpathizes and believes they will miss my work. Its very basic stuff!!

Turning 21 on April the 27th. Then its on to planning my wedding, the date is set on the 21st April 2012. Two years, but its better sooner then later to get all my bookings down, plus its sooooo hard to just pick ONE colour scheme, I may regret it for the rest of my living life. My friend recently got married in a VERY close family "suprise" ceremony, she was pregnany. I got my invite last week, they are doing the whole wedding thing again, this time with friends and extended family!

Hmmmm, wouldnt it be nice to do it all over again... squeeze my fat A$$ in to my wedding dress that fit me 10years ago... its good movitation to lose weight I guess... Which reminds me, 7kgs down. I really have noticed a difference... 3more to go.

Yeah!!! I have just made my 1st sims3 pattern...So who knows I might be posting some soon when they look like patterns peeps might actually think worthwhile downloading..lol

Need help for Workshop

I want to make some paintings with the Vanillasim Tutorial, but my Graphic program Gimp 2.0 can not open the data what I need.. Can you maybe help me or give me an advise what program I can use ? Only free, please. No money :D
