Not so magic schmagic

Hi everybody! This is my very first blog- and I'm excited! I don't know how many of you have read my series, but I'm working on it. It's going to take a while for me to get Part 4 out- It's over 70 pages! I know my stories are way to long. I'm sorry. It's just, I like getting it all out, and over with. I haven't had that much patience recently, so I won't be hunkering down and writing it all out anytime soon. I've been going about 2 to 5 slides a day, so It's going to take soemtimes. And, I won't be playing TS2 for a little while (or, at least till the end of lent) so after this part's out, don't expect another till easter.

Oh, and before I go, even though I do this constantly, I'd like to thank all of the people who read my stories, all the people who look at my screenshots, and now (yay!) all the people who read my blog!

Lost my Computer!! :(

So recently my computer died and now all of my projects are gone. Hogwarts was almost done, the burrow and privet drive were done, my tomb was almost done and had a new house to upload. but oh well taht's life. So to any who are waiting for my new stuff, I'm sorry and I'll get it done as fast as I can. Thanks for you downloads, comments and thank yous as well as your patience.

Just A Quickie - And Its Not Good..

Bad news everyone,

My copy of Sims 2 decided to randomly go nuts on me..

D:

Firstly, it failed to recognise I had the University installed..

"So?"

I thought..

"I'll just reinstall it.."

Then realising all my CDs copies of the Sims were a few hundred miles away at home, not on campus.

Which would otherise have been fine..

..if the game hadn't started experiencing graphic tears..

And before anyone goes:

"itz ur grafik crd u n00b!"

It's not, 'cos I can still play Empire: Total War.

So, I'm a loss to what is the problem.

Still, could be worse.

In the mean time, it means no more uploads (except for "Ashbeck Bungalow", a two bedroom bungalow) until I scramble back home to get the discs, which will be about in 3 weeks time.

So in the meantime, here's a few sneaky peaks at the new bungalow, looking forward to your feedback as always.

Anywho, I hope to be continuing my unhealthy habit of Sims 2 Architecture soon!

Will be back soon...

...making Sims for Sims 3 very shortly. Just had so much to do recently. Started an A Level English Language course, so been training myself to do at least 45 minutes a day of that before I do anything else. It's a difficult thing to do, believe me! lol!

Already got a Sim in my game at the minute that I created yesterday with the premise of being in-game, so I can take screenshots of her for her preview image for on here. She's a stunner! ^_^

Want to create a few more to post up first before I post her up, but believe me, I'm slowly beginning to start creating again. ^_^

It's a mesh - my first attemp at meshing

It's been awhile since I posted anything in my blog.  I am finally taking the plung and trying to learn to mesh. I tried using Liana's mesh which she offer to creators like me, but I had to use an older version of TSR's workshop.  My top using Liana's mesh installed in the game just fine, but when I tried to upload it to TSR I just got a message saying something like "don't know what to do with it." I tried to upload it 4 times.  I thought it was the server, so I uploaded another sim pack I made from the current version of TSR Workshop and it uploaded just fine.  That is when I decided I needed to make my own mesh.

I hope Liana doesn't mind but I used her idea to tweak the same mesh she did which is the overhang top.  I liked the way my top fit on her mesh, but since I'm having issues uploading my top with her mesh to TSR I decided to make mine similar to Liana's.  Imitation is the best form of flattery. 

It's a little mind boggling, but I think I can do it.  I'm going to start small. I tried making a few adjustments to this top. I found a great video tutorial on youtube on quick meshing in milkshap and it really helped.  They used a different CAS Workshop similar to TSR's workshop, so I was able to figure out how to export and import to and from TSR. 

The fun part was tweaking the mesh in milkshape.  Yep, I broke down and purchased Milkshape. The difference between the youtube tutorial and what I was actually working on, is when I import the mesh into milkshape it had the Fat morph on the top.  I hide the fat morph and tweaked the base mesh.  Then brought back the fat morph and tweaked it so it was similar to the base mesh. 

Here's a screen shots of my first attempt at meshing.  I hope to one day make my own meshes.  I still need to figure out the whole UV Maps, Vertex and ploygon stuff.  Look for my top coming soon.  I really want to make a short skirt for girls. I hate the long skirt in the game. Wish me luck.

Its 2:30 in the morning and I should be doing my homework but I don't want to. I'm such a slacker assignments due at 8:30am and I wait till now to do it. Shame on me... I haven't made a new's years resolution maybe Ill cut back on computer time and more time for school work...................................................................................................................NOT!!!

Computer first then school thats what I always say...haha
