Why did you do that?...
Today I heard terrible news-Alexander McQueen is dead. I'm in shok. He was a great designer, creativy and unusual. I don't wan't to create now, but I decidedly will upload some of his great designs. Just for a memory of a great man.
Third Submission: Bardeth Ay
Still working on my Mummy stuff. This is the best Ardeth Bay from The Mummy movies that I could manage with the in game meshes (and my Medjai Face Tattoo). I know the hair and the facial hair aren't quite right, so I'm still looking for those meshes and I know his clothes are pretty boring too. There isn't much in game for the Egyptian themed clothes and the only robes I've found are for Harry Potter. I figured I would share him anyway in the hopes that someone else might see him and be inspired to create other clothes and such for this theme.
Hope you like Bardeth Ay.
Server issues with TSR and Forum?
Is it just me or is TSR and the Forum having issues for the past 3-4 days now? I have been having issues with the pages not loading and getting error messages about the sever being too busy, thumbnails not showing up, pages taking a long time to load, TSR down for maintence messages at odd times of the day and all sorts of other issues that have been recurring sporadically. lt is getting a bit annoying! It's like "not again" everytime I try to do something.
new houses
i am currently working on some new houses having researched some floorplans. hopefully should have first one uploaded in a couple of days, have the general layout done, just got to finish it with decoration. i will be uploading an unfurnished and furnished version of the house so that people can put what they want in it without having to delete furniture etc. will keep everyone informed of progress.
Silly...continued
Dear story lovers!
I wrote a blog earlier about the story section. Now I have also started a thread on the forum for all story lovers to read and give their input if the waiting is for new stories to get published is too long and is frustrating you. You just want to read on without having to re-read previous chapters because it has been too long in between the publish dates. I was sooo happy to see my favourite, the Veronika Storm story by Illandrya published finally... (I know she submitted it more than a week ago, so why did that take so long?)
Please help making some noise about the story section. It needs more attention and pampering...

Now I will have to write to the Ministry of Silly walks next if nobody makes a move into the right direction. ( I love TSR...don't get me wrong...but the story section still is off...soooo...a little less conversation a little more action please! I'll shut up now..

I'm crying
I can't play anymore, I can't travel with my sims , my game is quite over and EA don't do anything :-((
So.....
The Baker Family
Among my oldest families--predating incorporation--is the Baker Family. Originally it was only a method of getting Melissa Roomies to move out so I could get someone else in with Chris Roomies. However, they later became one of my more established families.
Peter Baker moved into town and lived with James, Miles, Jonathan, and Steven Stone (then Trenton, from James' family name). Originally he intended to go into law enforcement, but the hours were problematic at best, and he was unhappy with them. However, it was on one of his patrols that he met another town residen, Melissa Roomies. The two met, fell in love, and Melissa left behind her roommate Chris (who I have identified as her step-sister, though that's probably not accurate) to move in with Peter and his housemates.
While living with Peter, Melissa entered into the science field. Along the way, however, they decided to have two children, Pamela and Patrick. Pamela is not as nice as Patrick is, but she is extremely playful. Patrick is much more outgoing and nice, and has no problem keeping his sister out of trouble. During the times when the children were infants, having James and the others around made raising them a lot easier.
Shortly after James and the others moved out to live with James' brother Danny Trenton, Peter got a new job in the paranormal field. It took some doing, but he soon rose to become an Exorcist. Melissa, in the mean time, made it through the tangles of academic life to become a Theorist.
Also before incorporation, Donna, Peter's older sister, moved into town. Not knowing anyone, she was a bit of a loner, focused solely on work. However, when Peter and Melissa decided to move their family in with her, she found her circle of relationships forcibly opened. Now, she is one of the first to greet new residents in town. She has since risen to become CEO of her own company.
Michael Bachelor--whom I understand to actually be Bella Goth's older brother (per Sims 2 and 3)--moved into town a little while after Peter and his family moved in with Donna. He enlisted shortly after arrival in town, and it as as a soldier that he met Donna--who, by the way, is several years older than he is (but the difference isn't as great as between Gertrude and Jean-Claude Silver). Despite the age difference, they fell in love, and Michael moved into the Baker Household. After rising all the way to become an Astronaut, an incident arose that disillusioned him, and he opted out of reenlisting, setting his sights instead on work as a Theorist. That too, however, became frustrating for him, so he now purses a career as a Pro Athlete.
Around this time the Bakers decided to renovate and rebuild their house. While the renovations were going on, Donna and Peter's parents arrived in town. Newly retired, Rex and Trixie (short for Beatrice) Baker were happy to accept Donna's invitation to move in with them. Rex, after a lifetime of hard work, is happy to enjoy his retirement. Trixie, however, finds being stuck at home all day too much trouble and has since gone back to work part-time as a Personal Tour Guide--she thought about becoming a professional party guest, but decided she doesn't have the stamina for it.
Just getting started
I am just getting started on this site cause i am usually on thesims3.com and creating things there! =] But i'm pretty sure that'll be changing and i hope to see if i get good ratings and reviews =]
Playing Catch-Up
After a rather horrible end to 2009 and computer problems last month I am finally looking at creating for the Sims3, and thought a good, simple project to get comfortable with using the TSR Workshop would be to make TS3 versions of my Panorama windows set (so no one needs to ask about that anymore ;) ).

For now I'm just making 1, 2, and 3 tile versions of the windows and then some doors to match. Maybe in the future I'll do the never-ending ones, but I really want to move on to new ideas next.
