My Wedding
We have set a date! Chris (my partner) and I have decided to get married on 01 September 2012 which is very exciting. I mean, it's still over 2 years away but we have to save up for it and there's lots to organise, of course. Fingers crossed the world doesn't end that year as it's rumoured to, haha. I'd like to make it down the aisle first! ;-)
We chose the 01 of September because it will be the first day of Spring, it's the first day of my birthday month and it was also my beautiful little dogs brithday when he was still alive. And the 1st just so happens to fall on a Saturday...perfect!
New Stuff Coming
Hi guys,
I've finally got my computer to work the way it should and I should have some patterns up tomorrow or the day after. They're going to be great, trust me. :)
Thanks for your comments!
Thanks for your comments! I recently asked for comments about my new Sims 3 dresser mesh.
I will definitely add the floral texture as an in game option for the dresser. I think a highboy or armoire style dresser would also be a great addition to the set, maybe in the future. I just have to wait for an updated TSR Workshop that will allow for repositioning of existing decorative slots and/or the creation of new slots. I also need for EA to include an armoire type dresser in the game, so that I can clone it, lol! Thanks for your feedback!
Preview of Things to Come!
Well, I'm in Sims 3 mode so far this week. I like the flexibility of moving from one game to another.
I created a new curtain mesh for Sims 3, and I am now hooked on
creating curtains. So, there maybe several new curtain meshes in the
future. It's so much easier to create curtains in Sims 3, you don't
need to create a diagonal mesh!
I'm almost finished with my mini-set, Vanity Fair Part III. I just need
to create another object or two for the set...hm-m-m-m-m, maybe
something decorative!
Just a few pictures I posted in my Victorian Tea Room (forum)
Hugs, and take care,
Carolyn

New Blog...
I have just set up a new blog on Blogger. http://duckeggpie.blogspot.com/
I am hoping to update it with bits and pieces about the families I am playing on Sims 3 at the moment (I would write stories but I always get far to into playing and forget to take the screen shots I need :) ) I will try to remember to take some screen shots to put up so it isn't all writing :)
Please take a look and follow it if you want :D
Upcoming stuff!
I showed one of them before and finally I submitted it! I also converted one of my houses from Sims 2, which I also submitted!
First house:

Second house, which is the Kahl House!

Both houses comes unfurnished so you can decorate as you want! :)
Kim Kardashian
I have a Kim Kardashian up on my website. :)
I will be posting Emmett Cullen on tsr in the not-too-distant future. Sorry for the wait, he's just proving to be very troublesome.
Check out my site if you'd like Kim, there are a few other sims up there as well if you are interested.

Caw-tool
Hello. Since I've downloaded the last patch I have been busy with all the pro's and contra's of it. I had to re-install the downloads from TSR. I noticed that the launcher doesn't show them as 'installed' but as stuff that has still to be installed; but in spite of that, it shows in the game.
Although having ideas for a story, I don't have the patience right now to put myself on it. Instead I'm playing with the caw-tool. It's rather complicated; perhaps not for you but for me it certainly is. I've created a few small worlds that I've deleted because they're not worth while to see. Now I start understanding the tool a bit more and that's how a spend my time 'understanding the tool'.
I must see that I really love it and once the problems of the patch have disappeared, I enjoy the game better. Now I understand what a hell of a job the creators of EA have had while creating the beautiful worlds in the game.
I hope that I will get back my inspiration for the story I have in mind. It surely felt very downhearted when I learnt that Bessie had past away. Such a young woman... I admire her sister Mae that she is strong enough to pick the work up that Bess left behind. Yesterday I saw that she had a change in the avatar. It really is admirable.
What a wonderful message in this YouTube video.
This was from an email my mom sent me today. I want to share this with everyone because it just goes to show that when you are having a bad day that anything is possible if you have the right attitude (not always an easy task).

So now whenever I am having a crappy day I will try to remember to thank God for all the blessings he has given me and to also remember Patrick who has faced so many obstacles in his life and has overcome them all with a great attitude.
I hope that you all enjoy this short video. :-)

Painting Troubles
Simmers!
I found out the blog-option in the menu, so I thought it would be a good idea to make an entry about my troubles making custom paintings with TSR-workshop and the GIMP... I have so many great ideas about lovely paintings, but every time I try and everything goes right, I endup in the game with a black square instead of a real painting.. Does anybody know how this could be? I installed a DDS plugin and the painting does show in the preview of the workshop and even in the startup program=S
So if anyone could help me fix my problem... please reply or pm me! =D
