To Diana..A Little Late

Diana, a little late I know..but I've been waiting patiently for the right time...I found a goose :-) ...cooked and ready for you...although when I gave it a lick it tasted suspiciously of plastic!!....

I thought I would send you a pic of my purdy tree...but the best thing I saved for last...

I found some snow for you!!!!! ...It's not the best snow, but it was jolly cold...and you even get some footprints with it too!!

How I came here...

I don't even remember the first time I got to TSR... I guess I must have downloaded a few creations for the Sims 2, but I really don't know which ones, and as I changed my computer since, it will for ever be a mystery. I stopped playing the Sims for a while, and started to play rather World of Warcraft, and, since I missed the creation, jumped into Second Life and it's relatively simple creation mode. That is where I began texturing a lot... For clothes, or small objects and accessoires.

As the Sims 3 were released, I installed the game and was disappointed over the poverty of it's content. The game is great, but they were so little objets to buy, event if recoloring and pattern changing is a great enhancement! And, confident in what I learned from SL, I started to read the tutorials for TSR. And started my first attempt, that so simple Hosta Plant, named Patriot.

I really was surprised to see it accepted, and published! It has nothing so memorable or inventive...

I understood how the textures work, and how to create masks to make items recolorable, I had to learn how to mesh... And so I bought that wonderfull Milkshape 3D program (for Second Life I used Blender, but as I'm working on a laptop, Milkshape is so much easier to handle!)

Fist of all, I tried to modify a very simple mesh : the round 1x1 rug that I turned into a frog, or teddybear shape. Once I had done this, I made a wine bottle, cloning those three ugly kitchen pots! I had to make 3 or more attempts before the final version, but I made it! I'm proud of that little bottle, event if there are many other to download which are much prettier, because it was the hell to understand how those high, an low definition meshes work and why the texture go all crazy in TSR and, and, and...

I'm triyng my best to make small original items, and if you have any interesting idea to submit, I'm ready to give it a try!

Hey everyone,

My new Story called 'Storys of Mara Grimmer' will be here tomorrow, I think. But its only a prologue, the first really part comes in this week! My new female Sim Mara is the main actor of the new story. My new House 'Chloe' isnt the house from her, I gave her a starter house from Sims, I dont know if I upload it when its decorated because its a starter house.

Anyway, My new storie is there tomorrow!

I did finish that house and tried to upload it back in April/May 09 but unfortunately it was knocked back and I have to clean up the upload file before it'll be published. I haven't quite got the hang of that yet so for now, no house. Sorry guys!

Tips are welcome by the way. I just can't work out which items to remove. They all seem important.

   Hello again.

I hope you all had a wonerful Christmas (for those who celebrate it)! I also hope that this coming year wil bring you lots of happiness, fortune, love and (of course) sims!!!!!    I hope all the good memories from the naughties will stay with you forever and you can look back on what has been a wonderful decade and smile.

  Now for the update part:

I am incredibly sorry for the delay in my creations and stories... The good news is that school holidays last until the 29th January and my computer is fixed!!! Hooray!!!! I've had plenty of time since Christmas to create and I have four (I think. Maybe five) New lots coming out that I have uploaded...and a few more that are awaiting finishing touches and will be uploaded and published some time in thenew year. I'll give you a sneak peak at two new lots coming out soon:

..if anybody was making a New Year Resolution this year, what it might be and how likely it is that you will stick to it....
