The Fun Factory

I'm back into urbania and am having a blast!

I've made some factory windows already, and today I uploaded a decorative trim set that will transform the factory windows into a variety of different designs to extend the variations even further.

But with windows taken care of, I know we need some doors!  EA have given us a broad range of doors and those modern grey doors with the glass will colour nicely to fit a grunge theme, but they're not quite industrial strength.  So, I decided to put the sliding door to some good use and made a lattice ironwork sliding door.

I'll be adding more doors to the set - likely along the lines of some industrial doors I made for Sims 2 (grubby heavy-duty doors with metal footplates, a fire escape door etc).

PS: the wallpapers EA have given us in World Adventures are simply the best!  Perfect, realistic grunge.  They just made Sims 3 900% better for me with these!

I'm done! Hate Sims 3 so much ;)

Aaaaaaah I really want a Sims4 a better Version based on Sims 2 .....Let Us call EA wit the following words: "We Just want Sims 4"

But notice: It's just decoration. Sorry but I can't code oder mesh *sad about that*

But if I learn that , I will make a truly functional Whirlpool for you!

New Set!

I'm sorry I haven't been around lately. Real life has been totally crazy. I finally managed to get a new set out to you for Sims 3, but now I will be away for a week or two, so nothing else will be coming after this one for a bit.

Hopefully I can get back into a more regular schedule after my return.

I really appreciate all the comments and holiday wishes I've received, though I haven't had the time to answer them. I really appreciate all your comments and good wishes. It means a lot to me. Enjoy! I'll be back before you know it!

Oh my...

Not feeling so well today, haha. Self inflicted though, so there's no use complaining. I had one too many Christmas drinks last night with my family but at least I was with good company. Hopefully I'll be feeling better soon and I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas as well!

A New Year

As we quickly sail into 2010, it's time for a short update.  With the release of 'New Day', I will take a tiny short break in order to complete a technology upgrade.  Although my macbook pro is only 8 months old, I have been taxing it's graphics processor to the max.  It's equipped with two NIVIDIA chips; a 9400 with 256 MB of dedicated memory and the 9600 GT with a 512 chip, but it wasn't built for such robust graphics processing as the Sims3 requires.  So a new iMac with an ATi Radeon 4670 is on it's way, and hopefully I will have completed the data transfer by NYE.  I'll still hang onto my macbook, as it's great for travelling, but most of my future builds will be on the new iMac.

I hope everyone has a great holiday season and a wonderful new year.  And stay tuned for many new builds from Qube Design in 2010.
