Just a Quick Update

Hello Readers!

Just a quick blog update to let you guys know that I'm not dead! (Well, there's been a few close shaves, but that's another story..)

Some of you have noticed my absence from TSR for the past few months, sending the odd PM and comment asking where I am. Well, just between you and me, its been a mixture of a hectic social life at university and a large amount of assignments that have crept up on me! (Evil blighters..)

Anywho..

So, I come back a few months later to a very nice surprise! A huge surplus of Kudos points and other 7k downloads! My first reaction was..

OMFG! <3333333

All I can say is, thank you peeps! I'm so grateful for you loyal support and comments! :D *huggles* I wouldn't have done it without you!!!

So in return, I've just reinstalled TS2 (Uni + Business), to create a load more houses and dorms in celebration!

On top of that, some of you eagle eyed viewers may have spotted my new profile banner and watermark. All of which will be included in future screenshots. (I've been fiddling around in photoshop and created them a few hours ago in celebration of the 7k download milestone).

For those of you who haven't noticed (shame on you..), here it is below:

Anyway, that's it for me now. Time to get cracking with these new buildings..

Username

Someone might have noticed that my username doesn't match the name that's in my preview picture of my creations so here's why it says "Hundp*ss" instead of "Kattsand":

My original username was "Hundp*ss" (I'm probably not allowed to write it without the star..) I had it for 2 ½ years. It's a swedish word that means "Dog pee" pee from a dog. Yes. TSR changed my name because they now think that my old username is provocative and that is why my new username is Kattsand. Kattsand is also a swedish word that means "cat litter".

Btw, I really wasn't out to provoke anyone, for me it was just a word and the username I always use when I sign up for a membership somewhere.

So I'm Kattsand, previously known as Hundp*ss   :)

Legacy intrigue

Isn't it nice when your sims start doing what you want them to do automatically.  Even though Patrick was with Tina, he started showing more preference for Mina...I love it when a plan comes together..lol

Sadly the screenies are prooving a P.I.T.A to get :(

so i'm at university....

i'm at university....HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN!
its been a hecktic 3 months here in newport in wales, and the welsh dnt do meat and potato pies! (sniff sniff)

however i've made some cool friends who are cool, and its defently the best decision i've ever made. its wierd being on my own for the very first time!
but i'll live.
hopefully.

 sooo much going on, and everything i write seems lost in someway,(mayb cus im writing and simming at stupid times in the morning and night!)
nd i'm starting to feel homesick, which isnt like me.

i'm missing out on so much at home,the date is 16/5/10 thats when i become a auntie eeeeekkkkk, nd apparently she's already big :/
 but at least we've got something to talk about over the table at dinner time wen i do go home, (which will b the 1st time on saturday) man 4 months without family kills!!!
but this is life nd i gotta deal with it!

but wot makes this even sucky is that i gotta do sum boring play, nd play a very emotional character, nd i cnt fake cry.
at least this queen song i'm listening to is gd

I've just uploaded some screenshots, and cleared the cache on my profile page and now I have a nice Red Question Mark on my page...if you click on it, the picture is there..just not showing up...so I will try to get rid of it!

New Patch Curse

I'm one of those that's been cursed by the EA patch. In fear of losing the Andretti's (the only thing that can't be redownloaded), I've backed up to my desktop, and I will remain dormant until the issues are resolved.

Caliente Legacy family

After reading Illandras amazing zefyr legacy it got me in the mood to start my own.

Thus Mina and Tina Caliente were created! The name may sound familiar, and yes, it is "Those" Caliente's that they are related to! Distant cousins, not just by georgraphy, moved in to sunset valley, promised by their Uncle Mucho that while his cabin was old it would be suitable. Sadly Uncle Mucho hadn't been checking his mail, the cabin was no more, and while Tina spent all her savings on an "Awesome" bed, Mina was a little more sensible.

The legacy is coming along well with Tina getting close to as many famous people as she can find via her job (in the loosest sense of the word) at the theatre. Mina however is again the more sensible one, working hard in the culinary track, putting in extra hours and study to fulfill her dream of being a 5 star chef and one day perhaps earing a Simchelin star (or two), and putting a roof over their head (Literally).

Well now that I have started making houses for TSR I intend to continue.

With each home I make I try to put a preview screenshot on the screenshots page, so that if you like it you can keep an eye out for it :)

I will undoubtedly ramble in here most of the time, but I can come out with coherent stuff most of the time so bear with me :)
