I will be uploading a dress and a lot today. It's my first lot so I hope everything goes the way I want it to. The dress is base game compatible and no mesh needed. The lot only use one custom content wich is a window by Simpossble.net. It's the GlassWall Window. Need to check if the window will download with the lot or if you need to download it seperatly. As I said it's my first time uploading a lot... Other than the window the only custom things are a few patterns. Wich I will try and find the creators for now!

That scintilatingly attractive toilet roll litter for dirty bathroom floors causes probems in the game.

I needed a Sims object that could be walked on, did not impede the path of Sims and could be placed on floors or counters. The only object that matches this set of criteria is the decorative 'magazines' clutter (rugs are also walkable, but any mesh placed on a rug clone is flattened by the game to rug height - so not very useful for us meshers now) - so that leaves the magazines. The trouble with those magazines is that they're not recolourable, and non-recolourable objects have proved impossible to clone with the Workshop until now.

A new beta of Workshop is in the works, and one of the fixes is to repair non-recolourable objects! Yay! And they do clone and install just perfectly. But they have a problem in the game and cause a crash, so they're not quite working yet. Therefore my twee Cottage Bathroom set (see piccies below) is now parked for a while.

I shall turn instead to a new set of windows. I posted up a poll (ages ago) about whether a variation on the Alpine set would be wanted, and there was a resounding YES to that so my next set will be the 30-degree Marina Roofline windows.

A picture? Oh, ha ha. You think I've made these yet?! LOL! No, I'm just full of empty promises. I've made three windows, but they're not in-game. When they are though, I promise they won't be back-to-front in Neighbourhood View this time! Meanwhile, I hope this replacement picture suffices. Happy Simming!

A sequel to 'Another Point Of View'

I'm starting to write a sequel to 'Another Point Of View'. Perhaps or perhaps to chapters. It's very messy though because I've got about 700 screens to sort and to choose out of.

Most probably the sequel will be called something like "Makin' up". So keep an eye open for the story to be publised.

I have been away for awhile because I went back to Sims 2 and I started creating again. I have fully restored my game and created a bunch of New Homes in the base game which after the New Year I plan on bringing them up to TSR. I am also in the process od making a website for my created families in newly restored Hoods. I want to thank everyone for stopping by and for downloading my homes. I plan to also have full Neighborhoods on my webiste soon and great homes here at TSR. Thanks for reading and stay in touch. GB

Sims 3 Problems

I am uninstalling TS3 once again :-/ Not permamently, mind you, but it's still frustrating. This will be the second time within the last month due to problems I've been experiencing. Just before I installed WA for the first time, the game started taking a LONG time to load and even when playing, it was frustratingly slow. Before that, it had been perfectly fine. So I thought it might be the amount of cc I had and I went through all of it and deleted what I could do without. Nothing changed.

I couldn't bear playing it in that state so I uninstalled everything and started from scratch (though I saved all my cc, of course! ;-)). After installing the game (not WA) and all my cc back on again, it had worked fine. But then - duh duh duh - I updated the game! Not a smart idea but at least I know now what was making my game go weird. It wasn't taking ages to load this time but strange things were happening. It was with the update 1.7. something and I have read there have been many problems with it.

The problems I experienced were:

*Food would spoil very quickly (which was incredibly annoying - leftovers are very handy ;-))

*The school bus would no longer come for my sim children (resulting in a bit of exercise for them - which they hated!)

*Some of my sims ages were going backwards (wouldn't some of us like that!?), and

*One of my families became unplayable :-(

There may have been more problems but that was enough for me to decide to start again - this time without updates - as time consuming as it is...

Well...anyway, I've shared with you my frustrations now so I'll be on my way :-) Oh, and if you've experienced similar problems, please feel free to vent below :-D

The Year 2010/ Spain

Hi all

Yesterday I made a decicion about what I'm going to do next year.

Real life is catching up with me and I've to start doing something with it!!!!!!!!!!

After I graduated at the beginning of the summer. I had a nice holiday, but that holiday is still stretching on until today and first it was nice to be home and all considering I didn't had a holiday in the last 4/5 years. Anyway it'starting to be really boring to sit around and do nothing.

For my study I worked on Mallorca (one of the Islands from Spain) in 2007 & 2008.

Yesterday I made the decision on going back in the Summer of 2010.

Nothing is for sure yet but in order to have a shot on a place next year I sigened in the application yesterday. I haven't sign any contract yet. But it's unlikely I'm staying in The Netherlands.

I sigened in for a period of 8 months from March till the end of October. I'm waiting on a reply from the company now so this is all I know for the moment. When I have more info I'll let you know...

This means that IF I decide to go I won't be able to upload any lots/ screens or stuff like that

I can only chat/read/look and follow you all here on TSR. witch is also nice to do.

Like I said I'm still not atteched to anything. I'm just giving a heads-up

I'm not gone yet so you can still enjoy my creations
