I'm BLUE not all the way anymore

I have been testplaying a town that didn't have the "Blue Lot Virus" Since my last blog edit. I must say, I could use some sleep now too, because when testing I had to go on playing without stopping and now I'm tired, because I also have a REAL life next to playing Sims. What happened since my testing?

Well I haven't encountered any problems yet. Not even when I let Fred & Barb be in thegame again. The only two things I have done are: First: Removed my Mods Folder and resource.cfg belonging to those mods, completely from the game. I only have used some sims3 packaged files from TSR.

Second: Before and On Vacation I used the SAVE AS option to save the game Doing so creates a new saved game everytime I do this. So far, after sending my test family to Egypt twice, China twice and France once I have 10 Saved games, all with different names (for instance: FredinChina dec 5 or Fred goingChina dec 5) I never used the safe option anymore. I tend to walk out of the room as my game loads back to the neighborhood after a vacation. I am too scared to witness the Blue lotted town again. But sofar everything works. I did loose 5 or 6 Towns though and I hope there will be a patch out someday for fixing that.

OK, I'll keep you posted on how things are with my Blue Lots, until there are no more!

Hi there fellow Simmers!

I have not been uploading recently. No lots, no sims, no stories.... Just some screenshots.

There is a reason for all this. I am having the Blue's.... Not me personally (although that could happen if this state goes on for too long) but for my game. I have the Blue Lot issue and I don't know how to resolve that. I've been on all forums for the last 2 days and I am sorry to say, there are no solutions as of yet. I will keep you posted and come back with FAB designs as soon as my game has recovered of this Blue Lot Flu.

See you soon again Simmers. Of course I will be here on TSR and monitor everything that's going on! I love it too dearly!

Bad things do happen... (most of the time)

Boooo...just as I thought of uploading a lot that looked quite good, I realised that my Sim had taken the furniture with her after she got married to my male Sim. I forgot how I placed the object, not to mention pictures on walls. Sigh....I was planning for a sort of COMEBACK. How dumb and exaggerated can I sound? -__- Anyway, I am working on a few residential lots and an apartment that is probably due by the end of this December?

Man...I promised to provide TSR anytime this year....apparently, I haven't submitted a lot AT ALL. Oh gosh. I better get working on those structures or I can't make the deadline. =O That's when I'll be dead meat. Well, not literally. I've tons of homework to complete too, hopefully I could find time to do that in the midst of my 'COMEBACK'. Oh whatever, I'm starting to sound like a person with a supernova-sized ego.

Well, hope you guys have a happy December, with Christmas around the corner and a new year ahead! =D

TSR Work Shop

I just downloaded the TSR workshop! I am so excited!! I can't wait to get started making my own designs for my sims3 families!! The first think I am going to make is a christmas tree and presents!!

Christmas is coming and it is time for good will and Peace on Earth. We are so lucky to have TSR. If you look around the internet at other Sims sites none are set up as well as TSR. Nor do they have the beautiful presentations or the fantastic items to download that there are here. A lot of us have been a member since Sims 1 and we have seen a lot of changes, and sorry to say people come and go, but there has always been a closeness among the members. As far as I am concerned TSR puts all other Sim sites to shame. In a time when things in the world are so messed up, please take a step back and appreciate what you have! This includes TSR!

Words fail me!

Well, words never fail me really - that would be TOO rare an event!  Bit I camr real close to it last night.  REAL close!

It seems the curse of my Sims 2 days is following me to Sims 3 already - the curse of me and Maxis (now EA) making the exact same things.  In joyous harmony, Maxis and I made elevators (theirs worked), conical roofs (theirs were real roofs), oh, and not forgetting trim fances, ventilation shafts, rusty pipes etc.  

You've probably seen a few piccies in my blog of the new castle set shortly headed your way (I mean they're hard to miss, really: I made the pictures the size of giant advertising horadings because I was too lazy to click the crop tool), but now EA has had the same idea!  Not about making screenshots the size of advertising hoardings, but making castle build items!

Yesterday saw this arrive at the EA store. 

I will now insert a little space where you can imagine my reaction - the full, unrelenting wrath of my insane, furious reaction....

But I'm still going ahead with my set.  That way, if you're looking for castle stuff, you can choose which you like best (naturally I will be watching closely)!  I'll be splitting it into three sets, because there are 23 meshes in total, and three smaller sets will let people choose the bits they need.

Hurray!

I think I'm finally over the flu...just in time for Texas to be hit with a cold front.  We may actually see snow!  Wow!  (Ok, what passes for snow down here!  LOL)

Tomorrow, When The War Began...

I know it's nothing to do with the Sims, but for all you aussies who grew up reading and rereading the Tomorrow series (By John Marsden - for those of you uinfortunate enough not to have read the series) I just thought I would let you know that they are finally making a movie about the series. Personally, I can't wait. Although they have casted an english chick as Corrie. is that not ridiculous??!!??

Memory Lost

Turns out the virus was worse then expected. The computer guy had to clear the entire hard drive of the computer. He tried to save as many files as possible, so there may be hope. As of now I'm waiting, waiting and hoping that not all my files are lost.
