New computer

I've got an Esme Cullen and a Rosalie Hale waiting for approval. Ahead of them is the beauty marks I made for Rosalie's face. They are taking a long time to be published even though approval went through pretty quickly. Not sure why. Maybe they have been inundated with submissions lately :D

I also have a Tricia Helfer in the works. She's the gorgeous woman who played Number 6 in Battlestar Galactica. I'm going to make Carlisle Cullen next in the twilight batch. I have no idea what I am going to do when I am up to Kristen, I've tried making her a few times and she is SO difficult to capture. Sigh. Oh well. <p>

I've been trying to make an Alice Cooper for adelesimmaker but he's not working out so far. I will keep trying though haha. <p> Hope you are all well. Can't wait til my Rosalie is up, I'm really happy with how she turned out! xox

The unthinkable, Now alternate reality

Well first Litia had a baby boy named Vincent, the father being her best friend and maid Jonathan.

But then my game crash and that little boy was lost :*(

I was able to play again later when I got over being mad but this time I had Litia marry Jonathan and now he's a police man though he still keeps the house very neat :). They did welcome another baby boy named Wayne.

In regards to the Food files...

To the valued visitors, a few may notice that my food files don't work with the current expansion packs. Your Sims may go to the fridge and open the door but simply stop at that point. Or perhaps they reach the fridge and no options or many appear at all. Unfortunately my food files are not up to date after the Nightlife EP. It's been a very long time since I've set foot into the area of custom food files. I'm pretty certain they do not work with Seasons and beyond simply because of the changes that were made by EA to all foods in general.

At this point I'm not going to promise that I will update the files because of in real life obligations. Yet at the same time I also am not going to say that I won't try to update the files and re-upload the newer files. It's definitely on the horizon to one day be fixed proper. Until then I only recommend my food files for those that have the EP up to the Sims 2 Pets EP. I can't honestly say that the files will work beyond that particular expansion pack.

One last note is to please not modify or 'fix' the files for Sims 2 or to convert the files to Sims 3 and then upload elsewhere. I would like to reserve that right for either my husband or myself.

Yes, I know I said weeks and weeks ago that I would be uploading the Zefryn home to TSR. However, shortly after I built the shell of the house I got a promotion at work and that had to take priority and the decorating went by the wayside. I'm now settled into my new role and have a little free time on my hands so I have finished the lot and it is almost ready to share.

I used a lot of custom content to create the screenshots for the story, but I have been careful in making the downloadable lot mostly base game (there are a few free cc items and a little of WA, but no EA store items except the freebies). I do recommend that, if you are a subscriber, you download cyclonesue's colonial windows and use them to replace the base game windows - they look soooo much nicer and there is a lot more variety!

I just need to do some testing to make sure sims can use it, take a couple of screenies and upload to TSR. It will (hopefully) be available for you to use within a few days.

The last piece: a drawbridge!

And finally (FINALLY) the drawbridge is complete!

Sims walk over it just fine, and of course it's fully recolourable. Now this last piece is done, I'll put together the screenshots and upload the set. Expect it to arrive next week.

And as a quick edit for Midnight222 and anyone else wondering about water, it's certainly possible to place the drawbridge on floor tiles if placed over water. The drawbridge hides the floortiles perfectly... It's very easy to do (very quick, and no building cheats required either) and I'll post a 'how-to' picture up with the drawbridge when it's released...

Snipe...

On November 20, I had to have my best friend put down. Snipe, my beloved cat. She had cancer, and was in pain more and more, so I made the decision to spare her any more. She was my best friend! She woke me in the mornings, usually to dang early! lol She "talked" to me, and would give me hugs and kitty kisses. But, mostly, she was just always there, beside me. Dave called her my "shadow"... well, I miss my shadow terribly! For 10 years she journeyed thru this life with me. Now her journey is done and I will continue thru this life without her.

Dave made a beautiful oak casket for her, and we buried her in her favorite spot in the yard, beside the barn. I can only believe that she has crossed the Rainbow Bridge and will be waiting for me when my journey ends.

Snipe... thank you for allowing me to travel this road, however short, with you! I miss you so much! But, when my journey here is done... I WILL meet you at the bridge! I hold you gently in my heart til then!! I love you my softy angel kitty!
